— Day 4

" my determination is broken again by love, making excuses to forgive "

nayeon, twice - cry for me

3rd person POVapathy spread like a horde of locusts across the house, the nonexistent noise made everything appear uncanny. passages deserted, kitchen unoccupied, a ghost town. no training of any sort was placed on the girls yet, leaving them pondering and growing even more wary of the condition.

"Don't you think it's weird how we are four days in and there has been no action or training happening?" the cat eyed girl claimed, lowering her speech to not be heard.

"That is normal, my first mission was a whole month of doing nothing inside this hell hole; finding out that it was to test my patience and awareness." Lisa empathised.

Harmony converted their cynical looks into faces of serene. They were all equally scattered round the room but that wasn't a problem for communication to carry. While Haewon and Yeji engaged in video games, the known since youth duo chatted critically.

"I need you to stay away from Wooyoung."

Jennie was bemused by her friend's statement. Why was she being so protective?

"He's not a bad person, ever since we arrived, he has been affable and agreeable towards me and the rest." Jennie argued deadpan.

Despite her trying to dispute over points, the blonde had already noticed the mulberry coloured contusions along her jawline - it was hidden competently by applying foundation which had begun to fade.

Fuck. I can't let this happen to her too.

"Alright, suit yourself." Lisa gave up instantly, taking the advantage to egress and find the bastard himself.

She wasn't going to allow Wooyoung to toy around with anymore of her friends. Justice was to bloom from today onwards, even if it took all the way up to the day of the mission.

Lisa's POVapproaching his room, the door had been left opened a quarter of the way. was he expecting me?

Not bothering to have respect, I walked in unannounced to see him, arms snuck under his head and legs crossed. He was taking his afternoon nap, so this was the ideal time.

I aimed steadily, ring finger flicking at the trigger stoically.

"Put the weapon down."

My body alarmed to the sight of Wooyoung and his devilish orbs now glaring at me with such disgust that I could of ran away, scared. But never show your fear, people like him thrive off it for their own warped entertainment.

"Hope you had a nice nap."

"Cut the crap, what do you want Manoban?"

Difference in timbre, he was intimidated by me for sure. His eyes and lips did not move as one, but extremely bait for someone as cunning as him.

"Put your hands on Jennie again and I'll cut them up and lay them beside your disembodied figure before tossing a match and converting your corpse's grave into ash."

Brows uplifted in astonishment, he knew I wasn't joking around and that pleased me.

"Well, I'll try not to but that will be quite laborious."

"And why is that?" I asked, vividly growing in impatience.

"Because she has a thing for me, and no matter how much she tries to deny, it will eat her up to the point where she will want to be around me and me only all the time. The balanced slap I gave her was basically the commencement." he stated, having a satisfied grin take shape.

My fists clamped at the thought of how he found it amusing. I thought he would have changed himself for the better after what went down years ago, but I was wrong. Pointless funds wasted on high class therapy that did nothing to benefit or sort out his manipulative behaviour, the members had already fallen for it the moment they allowed him to join the gang once more - even my own friends had gotten whipped up into the mind games. Charms and attraction conceal the inner being so well, it was fascinatingly scary; yet not many know that the very soul is what allows it to manifest in confidentiality or to easily be revealed.

Wooyoung hadn't learnt from his wrong doing and he was continuing to do so while dragging everyone down with him. But I wasn't going to let that happen anymore.

I set him a fake smile before withdrawing from his presence. I needed time to myself for a while and that was to involve staying pretty solitary for the rest of the week. The unveiling will start soon.

This isn't the end Wooyoung, I promise you that.

⊱ ──────ஓ๑♡๑ஓ ────── ⊰

Haewon's POVdinner was unusually hushed today, an empty seat was isolated making me acknowledge lisa's absence. i sat and ate beside san and seonghwa while yeji sat with mingi and yunho and jennie with wooyoung and jongho. hongjoong diagonal to me placed next to his second in command.

"Do you know where Lisa is?" the silvery haired man asked, glancing up from his half eaten plate to the lone chair.

"No, it's not like her to skip dinner." I replied, worried frankly.

Seonghwa took his eyes off his meal and looked at me for prolonged time. Stardust twinkled in his dark pupils as he stared, I never noticed how distinctive his features were. Jawline daring and drawn out, stunning snowy skin, his perfectly arched shoulders joined to his lean arms. If I didn't know he was a gang member, I would have thought he was a real life prince.

"Is there something that catches your eye?" he smirked, raising a flirty expression.

"Yes, a lot actually." I responded, playing along.

San had noticed our teasing and slid his arms around my groin, pulling my upper body closer to his.

"Hey! Stop whatever is going on right now." he raised his voice, loud enough for us to both hear but not to disturb the peace.

Pouty San was cute.

"It's nothing San, don't worry." Seonghwa assured.

"Yeah, it better be nothing."

Seeing him grow defensive made me feel cared for and safe. I lingered in his hold, giving my attention to Jennie and Wooyoung opposite to us. They seemed happy around each other's company. Watching carefully, he had whispered something into her ear that made her beam instantly; Jennie then bobbed her head and excused herself from the dining table, Wooyoung doing the same only after. Everyone fixated on them until they were out of view in the hallway, following the way which led them to his room.

Yunho raised the glass up to his pink lips, taking tiny gulps before setting it down and stating the evident.   "They have definitely gone to fuck."

"No shit, I mean did you see the way Woo was looking at her?" Jongho replied. "Lust was taking over."

As everyone took part in the humour, heavy reasoning overcame me. Uncomfortable pondering set me with erroneous views that I cast away immediately. There was nothing wrong going on between those two, I was sure.

Right?
