Jordyn's P.O.V

It's been several days since I have moved in with the boys, and I'm actually adjusting pretty well. The boys are really nice, yet they can be absolutely crazy sometimes. I feel like I'm their mom; I'm always cleaning up after them or cooking for them. I don't mind though.

Today I decided that I was going to visit my grandma in the nursing home, and catch up with her. I put the guitar that I was playing on my bed and went into Liam's room, to ask him if he could drive me. Ever since that day that me, Niall, and Harry had that little jam session, I've been playing the guitar more and more, and Niall lent me one of his guitars, which I was really grateful for.

I opened Liam's door and saw him laying in his bed.

"Hey Jordyn" He said, in a nasally voice. It sounded like he had a cold.

"Are you sick or something?" I asked him.

"I think I've come down with a cold" He said before sneezing.

"Oh no, do you need anything? Want me to make you some soup?" I asked worried.

"No I'm good, thanks though. So whats up?" He said, sitting up in his bed.

"I was going to ask you if you could drive me to visit grandma, but you're not feeling good so I'll just walk" I said.

"I'm sorry, maybe one of the boys can take you" Liam said.

"No thats alright, I'll be fine walking" I said. As soon as I said that Harry opened his bedroom door and walked past Liam's room.

"Harry!" Liam said, congested. Harry stopped and walked backwards into the doorway of Liam's room.

"Hmm?" Harry said.

"Do you mind taking Jordyn to the nursing home to visit my grandma? I'm not feeling too well" Liam said.

"Sure! No problem" Harry said, looking at me.

"I don't want to bother you, I'll just walk there it's not that far from here" I said, feeling bad that I was making Harry go out of his way to drive me.

"I insist. Besides, I don't want you to get kidnapped" He said, winking at me.

My cheeks burned up, and Harry let out a small laugh, knowing the effect he had on people. I mean yeah he's ridiculously good looking, but it seems as if he is sort of a player, and he knows that he's good with women.

I've noticed that Harry has been trying to talk to me more lately. It's like he is trying to get me to open up to him. I don't think I could ever open up to Harry. His looks, though appealing, are very intimidating, not to mention he's one of the most famous people in the world right now. It seems a bit silly that he is trying to befriend me, when there are thousands of other girls he could be friends with, and that actually would talk to him, and not be scared of him.

Harry's voice knocked me out of my daze. "Do you want me to take you now?" His voice was so low and deep, quite sexy actually, even though I would NEVER admit that out loud. Besides, he would probably just laugh at me. I'm just a pathetic, shy girl thats never had a boyfriend, giving him a compliment.

"Um yeah t-thanks" I stuttered.

I walked out of Liam's room and quickly went to my room to get my shoes. I slipped on my flip flops and walked back into the hallway, where Harry was waiting.

"Ready to go?" He asked. I nodded and we walked down the stairs. Harry grabbed his keys off of the table and we headed out the door.

"Which car?" I asked quietly, knowing that Harry had 3 different cars.

"The Range Rover" Harry said laughing. I walked over to the car and Harry jumped in front of me.

I stepped back a little, and gave him a confused look. He opened the door for me and ushered me to go in. I smiled awkwardly as I stepped into the vehicle.

He closed my door and walked around to the other side of the car, and got in. He put the keys in the ignition and looked over to me smiling before pressing the gas.

"So...you're pretty close to your grandma I see?" Harry said, making conversation during our ride to the nursing home.

I nodded.

"I'm still trying to figure you out" He said, looking over to me quickly before returning his focus on the road in front of him.

"What do you mean?" I asked, fiddling with my fingers.

"Well..when your around me and the boys your so shy and quiet, but when your around Liam you talk a lot and you seem more comfortable around him" He said.

"Thats because I am more comfortable around him, he's my brother"  I stated.

"Why aren't you comfortable around the rest of us?" He asked me.

"I don't know" I said, looking out the window. "You guys, well you especially, sort of..." I trailed off.

"Sort of what?" He asked confused.

"Intimidate me..." I admitted quietly.

"I intimidate you?" He asked surprised, looking over to me again. I refused to look him in the eyes, so I just nodded, continuing to look out the window.

"How so?" He asked.

I shrugged. "I don't know, you just seem so..manly and dominant, and your look and your voice.."

"What about my looks and my voice?" Harry seemed amused by all of this.

"I-I don't know" I said.

"Are you saying that I'm good looking and my voice is sexy?" He said sarcastically. I didn't answer him.

"Well if it helps..I think you're good looking and your voice is pretty as well" He said, looking over at me smiling.

I looked at him for the first time since we got in the car and gave him a small smile. Ugh, his smile is so adorable. Wait. What am I thinking?! And why is my heart fluttering? Am I getting butterflies for Harry Styles? This can't happen.

We finally pulled up to the assistant living house. I unbuckled my seatbelt and thanked Harry for the ride.

"Do you need a ride home too? What time will you be done?" He asked.

"Oh no thats fine, I'll walk home" I said.

"Jordyn..." He said, tilting his head and giving me a look.

"I won't be longer than an hour" I replied.

"I'll be waiting here" He smiled at me.

"Thanks Harry, I owe you" I said, while turning around and heading towards the building. Why did I say that? Now he's really gonna take up on that offer.

I walked into the building and went over to the front desk.

"Hello. I'm here to see Vivian Payne" I said to the lady sitting at the desk.

"What is your relation to Vivian?" The woman asked me.

"I'm her granddaughter" I responded.

"Are you by any chance Liam Payne's sister?" She asked me. I nodded. "Well you must be pretty lucky. Vivian speaks about the band quite often" She said. I gave her a small smile. "Your grandmother is in the lounge, go ahead down the hall and make your first right, and she'll be there"

"Thank you" I quietly said to the woman before making my way down the hall.

I entered the lounge room, my nose immediately being filled with the aroma of old people. I looked around the room. It had multiple couches, and a few sets of tables and chairs. I scanned the room, searching for my grandmother and soon found her on the right side of the room sitting at a table. I started to walk towards her and she soon recognized me.

"Jordyn! My dear!" She said, getting up off of the chair and giving me a hug.

"Hey grandma!" I said, hugging her back. She always knew how to put a smile on my face. We soon pulled away from the hug and she allowed me to sit down in the chair across from her.

"So darling, how have you been? How's living with the boys?" She asked me, taking a sip of her tea.

"It's been okay, I thought living with five boys was going to be more difficult than it really is" I said.

"Do you fancy any of them?" My grandma said cheekily.

"Grandma!" I said embarrassed.

"You're blushing Jordyn! Ohhh you like one of them!" She said. She's so child like sometimes, but I love her.

"I don't 'like' any of them, but there is one lad who's been extremely nice to me, and is trying to understand me with how I am and stuff" I said, getting butterflies thinking about Harry. Why am I getting butterflies about Harry lately? Do I like him?

"Which boy is it? It's that Neil guy isn't it?" My grandma said, fixing her glasses.

"It's Niall grandma, and no...it's Harry" I said, smiling at the fact that she thought Niall's name was Neil.

"Oh the curly headed one? That boy seems charming, why don't you make a move?" She asked me.

"You know me, I can barely look him in the eye or make a conversation with him, let alone make any moves. I don't even know how to make a move! And besides, even if I did he would probably get weirded out. He doesn't even like me" I said.

"I've never seen you like this before Jordyn" My grandmother said, getting serious. "He must be pretty special. If he doesn't like you now then he will eventually realize some day that you are a one of a kind girl, that should not be let go of. Take some risks in life Jord, you never know where your decisions might put you" She said.

"Thanks grandma" I said, smiling at her.

My grandmother and I talked for a little while longer. I completely forgot that Harry was waiting for me outside, so I had to cut our time together short. I said goodbye to my grandma, and she walked me to the front door. I looked out the glass door and saw Harry leaned up against the side of his car on his phone. When I opened the door he looked up from his phone and smiled at me.

"Hello Harry! Take good care of my granddaughter will you?" My grandma yelled to Harry.

"I will,no worries Mrs. Payne!" He shouted back. I shook my head in embarrassment, and hopped into the car.

"You seem...happy" Harry said as we pulled out of the parking spot. "I've never seen you smile so big and brightly"

"It was just nice talking to her. I used to see her everyday and now I barely see her, so it's nice when we get to talk for awhile" I said.

"What did you guys talk about?" Harry asked me.

"Nothing.." I said, looking out the window. Harry dropped the subject and moved onto another one.

"So...I hope you know that I haven't forgotten what you said before you walked away before" Harry said in a teasing matter.

I closed my eyes and mentally slapped myself. I could feel Harry's eyes boring into my head.

"I think the only way, and the best way to make it up to me is if you go on a date with me" He said.

A date with Harry? I can't go on a date with Harry! I don't know one single thing about going on a date!

"No" I replied.

"Why?" He said, and seemed genuinely hurt by my response.

"It's not that I don't want to go with you, it's just that...I've never been on a date before" I admitted, looking out the window at the scenery we were driving by.

"So your admitting that you want to go on a date with me...but your scared?" He stated, more like a question.

"I guess, yeah" I said.

"What are you scared of?" He asked.

I didn't answer him at first. Instead, I brought my hand up to my mouth and started to bite my nails. I always had a habit of biting my nails when I was nervous.

Harry looked over to me, waiting for my reply.

"Everything." I admitted. I honestly was scared of everything, everything in life practically. Scared of what people think of me, scared of being in public, scared of a simple little date.

"I can promise you that I won't judge you, or make fun of you in any way. I'll help you through the date, we can get through it together" He said, looking at me with a reassuring smile.

"O-okay" I stuttered, looking down at my fingers.

The entire rest of the ride home Harry softly hummed along to the radio, while I looked out the window. A million thoughts were racking through my mind about this date. Where would we go? What will we talk about? I'm obviously not a good conversation holder. The more I thought about it, the more I regretted agreeing to go on this date. But I needed to take my grandmothers advice, to take some risks. Besides, whats the worst that could happen?
