"You had been MIA since a while", her husband voice could be heard by her as soon as she's entering their new house.

"Mianhe, San-ah", she said plopped herself beside him whose still reading a book on the sofa.

"You could just step out from that group just like I did", he said looking at the tired wife of him. "You know, I can't do that", she smiled at him. "Ara", he said back. "All you wanted is more live to be saved", he knew almost everything about his wife.

While every wedly couple would have their honeymoon, San and Serine will sacrificed their lovely time killed zombies and saved more people.

"But why haven't I've seen you with the guys at 127 section area?", he asked realised he didn't saw Serine with the guys when everyone came back home. "You didn't lie to me, right?", he worried if she's really did being an experiment for the vaccine when she promised herself to backed out from it.

"I'm not, babe", she then kissed his lips shutting him up. "I'd came a little late back then. Ian does really need my help to search for something", she explained.

Little did he know that she's lying to him.

"How many days is your next mission this time?", The husband asked her as she looked at him with puzzled eyes of hers.

She had been confused for a while but then realized his words.

"A week", she replied as her hands were busy brewing hot chocolate water to be served to San."It was that far?", He asked as she just nodded."127 section area", she said as San hugged her from behind s he snuggled himself at her shoulder before kissing her nape passionately.

"Seoul?", She nodded. "That's one dangerous place to be with", he sighed."There's no need to be paranoid, Choi San-shi", she said in English and soon ruffled his hair softly. "You know what I'm capable of", she explained. "I know", he said. "But I've got this bad feeling like something is gonna happen to you", he said and she slapped his arm making the male surprised.

"What's the catch, YuChan?", she asked as seeing a girl in the box. "Another one just like you", he said as she looked at them; curling herself under the bed. "We can't get closed to her. She's not from any lab just like you but her friends said she had been bitten by them", he said again.

"She's scared", she walked toward to the door but JungKook stopped her. "She's dangerous and you know that, noona", he said to her.

"You know me, Kookie", she said as she walked in; opening up the door.

The room didn't smelled like she used to stayed. It felt normal without any broken things scattered on the floor. The girl looked wary of her when she bent down to see her in person.

"You've been wandering about everything, do you?", Serine asked her as she saw all the tense look of her faded away. "Why'd you been held captured here or even more precisely why it was you whom the one being bitten and didn't turn into those monster outside", she chuckled when she saw her eyes softened. "I'm Serine. Choi Serine", she lend her hand so the girl would reached her hand but instead the girl rushing out and pushed her to the floor wanting bit her.

"Serine-ah", the boy was scared for life as Yoongi ready to turn on the water sprinkler but seeing how Serine laughed making him realised something but nit for other who looked from scared to confused.

She knew that the girl would attacked her but she just play along. The girl stop her action when she smelled the blood from Serine. Her arm got hurt when she's gone to her last mission as she laughed. "Don't you think my blood feel tempting to you?", she asked as the girl backed off and looked at her confused. "It's because we're the same kind", she said to her. She almost gave up when she didn't talk or even letting out a word as then she got an idea.

"Don't you want to step out of this place?", the girl eyes told her that she wanted it. To get out of there. But one thing Serine realised was she kept staring at the glass window as if she's seeing a pool of water.

"I'll help you to get better", she said befre she walked out of the room and see the girl through the window.

"SoYeon. Jung SoYeon. My name", she said making other surprised as Serine just smiled.

"Nice to meet you, SoYeon-shi", she said back.

"Got a mission today?", he asked her as she shakes her head; with a smiled on her. "I'm thinking of resting today", she said back.

"Let's have a little date, chagiya", he said as she just smiled. "Gurae, let's do that", she said.

Jeju Island was the only safe place for human. Or people there said; 'zombie-free area'.

They lived a normal life on the island with one condition. One of the family must be served in the group; looking for supplies and survivor. And that's how Serine and San got a place for themselves. As well as other.

An underground bunker is for people who had just been saved and being isolated for three month before they can blend in with people on the island.

It was evening when Serine stayed at the restaurant near the beach; waiting for her husband while watching the ocean view.

Seeing the sea, made her remember Max.

"Thanks for saving my wife, 4025", Max said eyes on the ocean. "Serine. My name", she said back as he just chuckled. "Anyway, I hope we can be friend since I'm the one who made this mess and destroying your life too", he said being guilty. "My life is already messed up, anyway, dude", she.took out a cigarette out of her pocket along with a lighter. "Want some?", she asked as he smiled. "Wow, I didn't expect this", he said taking one; lighting them. "You had a lot that you didn't know about me, Max", she said as the smoked puffed out from her lips. "Then, I'm glad to get knowing you, Serine", he did the same as Serine did just now.

"Let's make a promise", he said to them. "We'll be looking for the cure and cooperate with each other", he took her dagger before cut his palm; letting the blood gushed out as he reached out his hand. "No backing out", Max did the same as Serine smirked and did the same before the shake their hand making a promise by blood."No backing out", she said.

"Let treat your back, ruthless girl", he dragged her away from other as he knew they looked at her scared. They saw how she's being a ruthless and doesn't even feel a pain at all. "You should put an act at least so they didn't realised your appearance, kid", he said treating the wound and pulled out the bullet out of her flesh without using any anesthesia.

"Am I an actress?", she sassed him as he just smiled.

"Max", she shouted as she shoot the creature. "No. No. No. No. Max. No", she's crying didn't know what to do."Serine. Serine. Look at me", she's looking at his arm still crying. "I said look at me, Serine", he scolded her."I'm stalling a time so you and Ian could bring the boys out of the hotel", he asked her but she shook her head."I'm not leaving you", he hold her hand. "Serine, you need to or all of us will die", he convinced her. "Take this", he give her his chain name necklace."You. Come here", he pointed at the boy in the back. "Take this", the boy looked confused and scared. "If you didn't know how to use them just hit them with this", he give the sniper to him. "Please, protect Serine at any cost. She's too valuable than your life", the boy just nodded."Ian. Take her out now", he signalling him to dragged Serine out as the boy followed them.

"What's wrong, chagiya?", he was worried seeing his wife stained tears as soon as he's entered the restaurant. "I think I'm weaker that I used to be back then", she said but San was in confusion. "I miss Max", she looked at the sea as San thought of it. He wanted to spoils her and spend time with her ALL the time. She didn't have any particular favourite restaurant or even having her favourite food since he knew that she had been raised in harsh environment.

She walked herself through the seashores and see the beautiful night sky, and the sea shimmered under the moonlight. She looked over her ring, which wrapped beautifully on her slender finger. She looked onto the beach side, she saw one person walking towards her. It was her husband smiling at her.

Once he's in front of her, he gingerly helps her  settle in, letting Serine in his coat as he stand behind her as he presses a long kiss to her nape.

The two of them stood in silence for a good 10 minutes, relishing being alone together, tangled up and blissfully happy. The night sky is bright and full of stars, and she grin as Serine feel him absently playing with the ring on her finger.

Sensing her grin, San kisses her head and murmurs, “A perfect ending to a perfect day".
