Chapter:21 Broken

I sit at the table at the house the next day, tears staining my face as my mind is scattered. Brian walks up behind me and hugs me with one arm, I hug his arm as my head rests on his upper arm. I then started crying again, as Brian fully hugs me.I get up and grab my jacket and head for my car, I open the door.

"Dabria O'Conner Colton, where are you going?" Brian asks me just before I was about to hop into my car."I'm going shooting." I say to him as I hop into my car.

I drove out of the drive way and onto the road, I don't know why but shooting with my bow and arrow is like an anchor for me. Now that Nathan's gone.

I arrive at the shooting range, I get out of the car and I bring out my bow and stand in front of a target.

Half an Hour Later...

I take another shot and it hit the middle.

"Nice shot." A familiar voice said behind me,I turn around and gasp.

"Nathan?" I asked, hoping my imagination isn't messing with me."Hey Dab." He says with a smile."H-h" I start."Shoot another arrow." He says and I did so, but this time is was like 1 point, I turn to him and he says."I make you nervous." He says laughing."No you don't!" I say playfully."Then get two bullseyes." He says "Ok." I tell him and shoot and get two straight in the middle."Ha." He says standing up and I walk over to him for a hug, I closed my eyes when my arms where about to wrap around him, then he disappeared. My tears left my eyes once more, as I picked up my bow and hooped back into my car. I aim for the route home.
