"Fear is not evil. It tells you what weakness is. And once you know your weakness, you can become stronger as well as kinder."

Yo! I just finished reading a book. It was so good that it actually managed to drew out my emotions. I'll put a screenshot of the description of the book, so do check it out if you are free.

Chapter 26Kotoamatsukami Genjutstu

No one's pov:

Naruto jumped from tree to tree trying to outrun Sasuke and Sakura, who magically found him. (Or Sasuke may or may not have used sharingan)

Either way, Naruto is running at full speed trying to outrun them. In the sheer moment of panic he forgot about his ability to glitch away.

"Naruto stop!" Sakura yelled.

Naruto flinched and slipped from the branch and fell on his back.

By the moment he got up, Sasuke and Sakura had caught up to him.

Naruto put his hand inside his pouch and pulled out four sebon needles in between his fingers. His face is covered with sweat and he looked like a dangerous animal cornered by hunters.

Sasuke raised his hands showing him that he didn't mean any harm. He had seen this version of Naruto before and he knew better than anyone that not to approach him.

"Naruto, please calm down-"

Sasuke was cut off by Sakura crying out his name and running towards him to embrace him thinking it would help, like the patients in Konoha.

"No Sakura stop!" Sasuke yelled but it was too late.

Naruto's eyes widened in fear as he immediately attacked Sakura by throwing the needles.

They hit the spot and the poison started spreading.

Sakura's face immediately became pale as she cursed herself for not bringing the antidote she used on Kankuro.

Before she could hit the wall, Sasuke caught her. Sasuke tried to wake her up but she wouldn't wake up.

Sasuke looked up when he heard Naruto groaning. He saw the seal on his shoulder glowing as shining dust particles rising from the spot.

Naruto stood there holding his shoulder, eyes tightly shut, clearly in pain. Soon the glowing stopped and Naruto fell on his knees, slumping.

Sasuke looked at his shoulder and saw the seal gone. It worked. Naruto must have thought Sakura had died and the guilt and sorrow overwhelmed the seal.

Sasuke smiled.

Naruto slowly stood up, trembling slightly. He slowly walked towards them. Sasuke carefully studied his movements.

Naruto's seal is gone. The seal was the reason Naruto left the village in the first place. But even it's gone, Naruto still could be an enemy, he still hate Konoha after all.

Naruto literally fell down when he reached them. He checked Sakura's pulse with his shaking hands.

"She's still alive. But I don't have a antidote for the poison. I don't have enough chakra to heal her completely." Naruto started.

Sasuke's eyes widened in surprise. "Yeah I know. I have to get her to the hospital."

"I know. I don't have chakra enough to heal her, but I can take you back to your village." Naruto said as he grabbed Sasuke's and Sakura's hands and glitched away.

But when he appeared in front of Konoha, he was met with someone he didn't expect to be there.

Naruto's pov:

I saw Sakura-chan falling down being hit by the needles. It felt like time slowed down.

As she fell down, she looked at me with some emotion I couldn't decipher. It's wasn't hatred or sympathy or pity. It was something warm.

Sasuke caught her before she could hit the ground. She looks so pale. Did she die? Did I kill her?

Just thinking about killing her made me feel a sensation, like someone squeezing my heart so tight.

She couldn't have died, right? RIGHT?

I saw Sasuke trying to wake her up but she wouldn't respond.

She's so still. She's not moving. I actually killed her.

Suddenly I felt the black fog covering my mind lift along with excruciating pain in my shoulder.

I closed my eyes tightly and clenched my teeth. It felt like someone is ripping out something from my shoulder.

After a few moments, the pain stopped but soon replaced by aching all over my body.

I opened my eyes. I feel a lot light now. I tried to walk towards the two infront of me but being in pain I couldn't walk properly.

Somehow I reached them only to fell down due to the lack of energy. But I can't pass out right now. I have to make sure Sakura-chan is alive.

I tried to feel her pulse. It's still there!

For some reason, my chakra levels are low. I may not be able to heal her right now but I have enough chakra to take her somewhere where she can recieve immediate medical attention.

"She's still alive. But I don't have a antidote for the poison. I don't have enough chakra to heal her completely." I started.

For some reason, Sasuke widened his eyes before composing himself.

"Yeah I know. I have to get her to the hospital."

"I know. I don't have chakra enough to heal her, but I can take you back to your village." I explained as I grabbed both their hands and glitched to Konoha.

Once we reappeared I felt like exhaustion take over me. But what I saw at the gates cleared up the exhaustion I was feeling.

No one's pov:

Naruto stood there staring at the two shinobis wearing jonin vest.

"Hi Naruto." One greeted cheerfully.

"So we meet again, Naruto." The other greeted, calmly with a smile.

"Itachi!? Shisui!?" Naruto asked shocked. He thought they were still with Akatsuki and was planning on taking them out next.

"Welcome back Naruto." Only then Naruto noticed the other two behind Itachi and Shisui.

There was the blonde woman who called herself temporary hokage and the weird man who trained Sasuke.

Naruto for now ignored them and turned around. He could destroy anyone even the hokage if he wanted to. But something started to stir in him after the pain he experienced. Did he really wanted to destroy Konoha?

No he will destroy Konoha for what they've done to him!

Naruto started to walk away. But Shisui flickered to infront of him.

"Kotoamatsukami!" He said. For a moment Naruto stood still, before shaking his head as if trying to clear his head.

He looked back at Shisui, with what could be deciphered as betrayal before pushing him away and disappearing in a glitch.

"So did it work?" Sasuke asked.

Shisui didn't say anything as he stared at the spot Naruto stood. He didn't move when Tsunade ordered Anbu to take Sasuke and Sakura to the hospital. He didn't move when Itachi placed his hands on him.

If his genjutstu work as planned, Naruto will destroy the Akatsuki and then return to Konoha.

But his mind couldn't be at rest. Did he do the right thing forcing the genjutstu on Naruto instead of letting him take his time when he was just released from the seal?
