Recollection

Krystal tossed and turned all night. She knows she had seen that boy before, but why couldn't she remember. Frustrated, she turns onto her side. Finally, sleep overtakes her.

In her dream, fire and smoke filled the air, with horns blasting. A young boy was holding her hand, dragging her behind him. When the boy turns to look at her, Krystal gasps. It was the same boy as the rider. Everything about him was the same: the green eyes, the brown hair, just he was younger. As they ran, a Monstrous Nightmare dropped in front of them. Krystal ran off in another direction then the boy. She wakes up as her dream-self runs into the woods, followed by the dragon.

'That's where I saw him! I knew him when I was little! He was my friend!'
