Chapter 5

Two months later I, Riker and Rocky were deciding the set list of our new east-coast tour. "OMG, I'm so excited!!" i said, and Rocky started to Get annoyed. "That's about the millionth time you've said that!" He said, and i shrugged. "But I'm excited! Aren't you?" i asked, and they laughed a bit. "Of course We are" Riker said, and smiled.

"Ok, We need one cover" Rocky said, When We were almost finished. "A new one? Or should We Take one of our old covers?" I asked, and Riker said "A new one". "Ok, so like a solo cover? Or shall We Sing it together?" Rocky asked, and Riker said "It Was really great When Rydel sang her cover alone, so i guess a solo one. But who should Sing the cover this time?". "What about you, Riley? Do you want to cover a song?" Riker asked me, and i thought about it. "Yeah, That's a good idea!" Rocky said, and they both looked at me. "Ehm..sure! That would be fun! But We have to aske the others first!" i said, and they nodded. "Ross! Rydel! Get your fat asses in here!" Rocky yelled, because He Was too lazy to go Get them. They came in. "Wow, Thanks for the compliment!" Rydel said sarcastic, and i laughed. "So, We were thinking that Maybe Riley could Do the cover On the tour? Is it ok for you guys? We're gonna call Ratliff later" Riker said, and they smiled. "Of course It's ok for us! She's the best vocally anyway!" Ross said, and i blushed a bit. I usually hated compliments, because i always blushed When i got them. "Thanks, You're not so bad yourself!" i said, and We all laughed.

"So, now We only have to think of a song for you to cover" Riker said, and Rocky sighed "Yay, we're gonna cover one direction!". "No, I've kinda been thinking about this one song alot.." i said, and they asked me what song. "I love Payphone by Maroon 5, Maybe We could cover that one?" i asked, and they nodded. "That's a good one, i love it!" Riker said, and started searching for it On YouTube.

Some weeks later, We were getting ready for the first show On our east coast tour. I were really pumped! Everyone walked around in purple, My favorite color. I got to choose this time.

Payphone Was the last song We would play. Before that We played "Anything you want". When We were done with that, i took off My guitar. I wouldn't be playing any instruments during the cover. The other ones fixed their instruments, and Riker said into the mic "What's next? Maybe a little cover?". The crowd screamed, and everything went black. I could tell the crowd Was confused, but it Was On purpose. Then a spot hit me. Rydel started to play, and i sang:

We were now done with the concert, and backstage. "OMG Riley, that Was awesome!" Rydel said, and hugged me. "Thanks, and you were really good at the instruments" i said, but Riker shook his head. "Don't try to say things like that. You were AMAZING!" He said, and i blushed.
