An Au where Tuskato's fiance, who I will name Agatsuma Yuuta for this au, didn't agree with the villages' decision of sending Giyuu to a mental asylum or his doctors' family members as he knew Giyuu wouldn't lie about what happened to Tsukato so he helped Giyuu run away.

When Giyuu was found by Urokodaki, he asked for help to keep in contact with Yuuta as they both each others' last connection to Tsukato and Yuuta did help Giyuu run away, to which Urokodaki asked the Oyakata if he could offer a bird or crow to help his new student which Oyakata was more then happy to helo with.

The two kept in contact so Yuuta was there for Giyuu when he lost Sabito and Giyuu knew that Yuuta had been forced to marry the popular girl of their village after she drugged him and had sex with hi which resulted in a child.

Giyuu wanted to take Yuuta away from that woman but knew that Yuuta already cared for the child and supported him besides slowly ending up adoring the child, Agatsuma Zenitsu.

Things followed canon until when Zenitsus is kicked out as here it would be his mother and grandparents doing it without Yuuta knowing but once he found out, he gave the divorce papers to his wife(if they do not exist in their time...now they do) and went to the Water Estate to ask Giyuu's help in finding his child.

It took sometime but the two finally found Zenitsu when Uzui made a comment about the Ex-Thunder Hashira having a student with a similar personality to Zenitsu.

Zenitsu cried even more when he saw his father and found out he loved him and that his mother and grandparents kicked him out without Yuuta knowing and was happy to finally meet his Uncle Giyuu.

Giyuu explained what happened to Jigoro who was happy to know that Zenitsu had family that cared for him and agreed to let Zenitsu reside with Giyuu and Yuuta in the Water Estate while Jigoro trained him.

Would Zenitsu personality be a bit different from canon? What about kaigaku's relationship with zenitsu, etc? How would the hashiras find out about the Giyuu's brother-in-law and nephew? What ships would be in the fic? This and any other thing would be up to the writer
