4(One Piece)

Before I start talking about this idea, I want to say that while in this idea I will use the these characters/ship it doesn't mean that whoever likes the idea has to use them as they can use whatever characters and ships they want.

Now to the idea, I have read some fics were Luffy, Ace or another character had a kid before they sailed to their own adventures and that gave me the idea of what if it was another two characters who had a kid? But that would be still a lot similar to that and I added my own twist to it.

So my twist would be that the child is not biologically the kid of the two characters but a child that was experimented or feed a Devil fruit as a baby and after when the kid was still a baby they accidentally teletransported into the arms of one of his parents and stayed with them for a bit before once again accidentally teletransporting but to the other parent and then it always happens like that as the child sees both as a safe heaven and as they learn to control their power(with the help of both of their families) while they adventure to other places(that are safe by what the childs' parents know) they mostly travel between both parents.

The characters I choose for the possible parents were Usopp and Marco, why? I just love Usopp and for some reason I have been shipping him with Marco(also, the writer can use genderbend in one or both characters if they wish, in this case I would call Usopp as Usha and/or Marco as Marcy)

The child first appeared to Usopp, who had been shocked by a baby appearing in his arms and while still surprised he decided to wait a full day to see if anyone came for the baby as a baby that could teletransport would have parents that could do the same and who would come get their child once they noticed them missing.

But seeing that no one appeared, Usopp thought about going to one of the adult villagers but when he looked at the baby he sae himself that had no parents and was alone(Bachina died and Yasopp...never visited or sent letters) so he decided against it and decided to try and raise the baby alone.

The baby, Usopp still hadn't decided for a name for them, stayed with Usopp for six months before they teleported away right in front of Usopp which worried him but he could do nothing about it and while wait to see if the baby would return.

As the baby disappeared from Usopp's arms, Marco found himself suddenly waking up from his nap as he felt something heavy suddenly appear in his chest which revealed to be a baby when he opened his eyes.

Marco like Usopp was surprised but eh picked the baby and went to see the doctors in the ship to see if the baby was well(since teletransport shouldn't be safe for babies) before approaching Whitebeard about it.

Whitebeard let Marco be the one to choose what to do with the baby and Marco thought seriously in leaving the baby with a caring family in a island under the Whitebeards protection but he found himself already wrapped around the baby's fingers and decided to adopt him.

And like Usopp, after six months in Marco(and the other Whitebeards)'s care the baby teletransported but this time back to Usopp who was relieved to see the baby but noticed how the baby's clothes were completely different and wondered if someone else had been taking care of the baby and if they could be the baby's birth parents.

With that in mind, Usopp decided always have a paper or something else glued to the baby that in case the baby disappeared again, Usopp could maybe enter in contact with whoever was taking care of the baby.

And that worked, as marco when the baby returned to him found the paper and wrote his person DenDenMushi on it(I know that Usopp doesn't own one but it doesn't really make sense that only a few people or islands have a DenDenMushi so for this Au, Banchina had ordered for one to be given for Usopp's birthday which because she died before she could do it, was given to Usopp by Merry) and his name so both of them could get in contact and decide things about their shared child.

Once the child was back with Usopp, he waited until the child was asleep before he called Marco. Their talk was a pretty long one with them first sharing important information about each other(name, age, where they live, their families, etc) before they moved to talk about their child and how to raise them(choosing a name and maybe last name, how to deal with their education, what the child would call each of them, if they should meet or wait to do it later, how to explain to the child why their parents live for far away once they were older, etc).

The child is raised while being very loved by both of their parents and the Whitebeards but during the time were Usopp meets Luffy and they deal with Kuro, the child is white the Whitebeards so the Strawhats have no idea about Usopp's child until Alabasta when the child appears in their ship at the same time as Ace does(just to have a bigger reaction to knowing that Usopp is raising a kid with Marco) and after a long explanation and shock, the Strawhats find themselves getting already wrapped in the child's finger to the amusement of Usopp.

How would this affect the happening of canon? Usopp would not leave the crew because of the Gong Merry since while he loves the ship he knows that with the state of the ship it is no longer safe for them or the child, Thatch survives as the child was having troubles falling asleep so they and Marco were walking around Moby Dick when they heard something coming from the place of Thatch's room so Marco sent the child to call the others while he went to see what was going on(Teach was able to run away with the fruit but Thatch survived), when Kuma sent the Strawhats to different places maybe Usopp could have ended up in the Moby Dick(which means that while he stayed behind to take care of the child during the Execution, he could have given the idea that the non devil fruit users could take a few sea stone weapons or bullets to deal with some of the marines....and Teach if he appeared or something else that helped make sure Ace and Whitebeard survived) and probably other things but those other changes I leave up to whoever decided to write this idea.
