22(Shadowhunters)

An Au where the Spiral Labyrinth is somewhat sentient, the place it resides was the place were an angel died protecting the children of his fallen siblings and his grace/power/whatever you call it, created that place to protect them.

No one, outside of warlock and those with pure intentions, could enter that place and the Clave of course hated that and always said that the Spiral labyrinth was were warlocks kept poor mundanes and shadowhunters and tortured them.

Of course that after Valentine, shadowhunters started to see that the Clave was lying and that the Spiral Labyrinth was simply the warlocks safe place like Idris was supposed to be for the nephilims.

Things can follow canon a bit but there will not be any arranged marriage or betrayal(any type of betrayal which includes the freeing of Camille) as Magnus and Alec took their time to get to know each other and when things got too hard, Magnus asked for the help of the warlock in the Spiral Labyrinth including to hide there the Mortal Cup.

What neither Magnus, Alec or anyone expected was that the Spiral Labyrinth reacted to the presence of angel blood in it's place and started granting pure wishes that the warlock that lived in it or had put their feet in it have wished for(subconsciously or not).

So imagine everyone's surprise when dealing with Valentine was much easier then anyone thought and there was no need for anyone's death or the need for deals? But even more that when Malec got together that whenever anyone tried to separate them, something would happen(what, is up to the writer) or that one day a new rule appeared in the Clave's rule book were it said that relationships between shadowhunters with any other species were accepted and should be encouraged.

It made no sense to anyone but they decided to enjoy the good things that were happening but maybe the one thing that pushed all the warlocks to realize what was happening, was when certain warlocks(Magnus, Lorenzo, Catarina) found themselves carrying someone inside them when their relationship with their lovers(Alec, Andrew, Ragnor or someone else) was going solid.

How anything else would go is up to the writer but I know this makes no sense
