An Au where everyone has a soulmate and has their name tattoed on their wrist.

Adrien and Chloe were born with soulmates of the same gender, which wasn't very welcomed by one of their parents, and told to always hide their soulmate's name even when they met them.

They never listened to that often, they promised themselves that they would show it when with each other but start showing it to the world when they met their soulmates.

Unfortunately, it took until they were in university for them to meet their soulmates and the two childhood friends weren't as close as they used to be since the akumas, heroes, etc happened during their middle/high school time.

But despite that, the moment they first heard their soulmate's name from someone else's mouth, the first person they told about it was each other and luckily for them they had become friends or were somewhat close to each other's soulmate.

Who their soulmates are, if they had been in relationships before, if Marinette and others are good friends, etc is up to the writer.
