Chapter ThirtyFour - End Of The Invasion

Acnologia descended from the sky, the other dragons retreating behind him. They thought they had won. Natsu put his palm on my shoulder, looking at me kindly.

"We got this Luce. You just sit back and watch." he said, cracking his knuckles. The other dragon slayers and the rest of my guild stood in front, eyes filled with cold determination.

With the monsters final roar, they all ran quickly toward it, starting to combine magic.

This is an interesting combination indeed....---Milli POV---

We all dashed toward the dragon, it's black eyes staring at us all. I called out to Conah, who was in front of us. The beasts magic charged up, ready to release a neon blast.

"Conah! You need to stop that blast!" I shouted, skipping from rooftop to rooftop, slowly getting closer to the king himself.

After his strong nod, an enormous blast of black energy escaped Acnologia's mouth, aiming to obliterate the entire city. I watched as Conah ran into the blast, jumping through its energy. A second after, his loud shout ringed around the area.

"NEON BLASTS, ARE POWERLESS!!" He screamed, soon after, the blast coming towards us, its power the same as a calm breeze. While the dragon was still occupied trying to deny Conah's spell, I called out to the Dragon slayers, who all gave me stern faces. I then turned to Luna, who's forehead was already marked. She smiled at me, she knew what she had to do.

With that said, they all carried out their formations.

"Fire dragon....."

"Iron Dragon....."

"Sky Dragon...."

"Lighting Dragon....."

"Shadow Dragon...."

"Holy Dragon...."

I turned, to see all the dragon slayers pulling their heads back. This is going to be a big attack....

"ROAR!!"

Different coloured blasts approached Acnologia, who was too busy to defend himself. As expected, Luna jumped a few hundred meters in front of the attack, her mark glowing.

"JINX!"

As the blast went around her, the magic turned into a mash up of magic energy so dense, you could feel it from here. As the blast was still moving, Conah went under it, putting one finger into the magic.

"ALL MAGIC COMING FROM DRAGON SLAYERS, ARE TEMPORARILY TEN THOUSAND TIMES STRONGER!"

The blast became even larger, half the size of Acnologia. We all want this blast to be the strongest it can. I finally dived below it as well, creating a magic device from the rubble.

"Transform, Magic Amplifier!"

As the blast went through the machine, it finally reached the size of Acnologia, maybe even bigger. I smirked as it was moments away from impact.

Boom!

The blast hit head on, the dragon screaming with pain and agony, but I knew better than that. It needed one final hit. I turned to the slayers, who all looked exhausted. I turned to Lucy, who gave me a nod.

It's up to you Luce.

---Lucy POV---

Milli turned to me, which I gave a strong nod in return. Guess it was time for the finishing blow. I ran at lighting speeds, zooming past the slayers that only dust was left waving in the air. At the right moment, I jumped the right height to come eye to eye with the beast.

"Dragon Rider : Acnologia Take Over!"

I aimed a black beam towards the monsters head, the finishing blow moments away. As I was about to end it, the beasts sharp claw threw itself at me, moving too fast that I would be knocked out before I kill him. Suddenly, a quick streak of pink hair flashed before my eyes, a certain dragon slayer taking out the arm of the beast.

Natsu.

"Fire Dragon : Wing Attack!"

He cleanly sliced off the monsters arm, leaving me to do the final blow.

"Finish it Luce!"

I smiled. Not a moment too soon, a large beam of black magic flew out my palm, defeating the king of Dragons, his loud roar deafening. We were all flung backward by the power, some parts of the ground being pulled up from the impact.

~TimeSkip 1 minute Later~

I rubbed my sore head, finding two arms wrapped around me tightly. I gently took them off, turning around to find a battered up Natsu underneath me. I quickly jumped up, my take over disappearing into my usual outfit. I shook him wildly, begging him to wake up.

"Natsu?.....Natsu!!"

He didn't respond, his face stood still, not moving an inch. I lifted my hand, finding a red liquid stained onto my entire palm. Blood.

I could feel myself breaking up as I saw the side of Natsu's chest soaked in blood, the bleeding refusing to stop. Everyone else was just starting to regain consciousness, while I was pressing hard on the wound. I searched the injury even more. We had unfortunately landed on a small patch of sharp rocks.

Natsu must have saw them. He saved me, even though I had been so horrible...

I put my head to his chest, trying my best to search for a heart beat.

Boom Boom,Boom Boom,Boom.......

"NATSU!!! DONT GO!!" I shouted, pulling his collar roughly. His expression didn't change, leaving me hanging miserably. Luna rushed over to me, skidding to a stop, kneeling.

"What is it Lucy?" she asked, while I was sitting there breaking apart.

"You've got to save him. SAVE NATSU LUNA!" I screamed at her, eyes still stuck on him.

She nodded, calling over Kastile. He gently pulled me away from him, sitting beside Natsu. He put his hand on the floor, a green magic circle appearing underneath his lifeless body. Luna closed her eyes, her mark lighting up.

"Jinx!"

Still, Natsu didn't move.

"Jinx!"

Nothing.

"JINX!!"

I could feel my tears appearing, as the other guild members looked to the ground sadly while the others tried desperately to save him.

I broke apart when Luna shook her head towards Kastile, who removed his hand from the ground, the circle slowly fading away.

"Lucy..I" Luna started, the mark fading from her head. I shook my head at her frantically, warning her not to say another word. No one said a thing, while silent tears fell down my cheeks.

He's gone. He's actually gone...

We were all startled by someone yawning loudly. I looked up, finding Natsu stretching his arms widely. He rubbed his eyes, his injury and bleeding somehow disappeared.

"Morning everyone. So.....did we beat Acnologia?" He asked. I violently wiped away my tears, my eyes all red and puffy.

He was....sleeping?

Natsu focused his gaze on me, question in his eyes.

"Why are you crying Luce. You seem like you did quite a lot. Are you worried about something?" He asked, cluelessly. I crossed my arms, avoiding eye contact.

"Nothing. I wasn't worried about you or anything at all!" I replied, sniffling loudly.

Unexpectedly, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pushed my head into his chest. I felt more tears appearing, everyone smiling over us with pity.

"Just....don't do that again Natsu." I said quietly, my voice muzzled. He put his hand on my head, pushing his forehead into mine.

"Don't worry Lucy. I'll never leave you."
