Y/N POV

Namjoon was looking at me with a worried face, almost as if he knew what Jin and Jungkook do for a living. I didn't say anything but just went with the flow...

NAMJOON: ahhh I guess we should get going...it was good seeing you Jungkook..

JUNGKOOK: yeah you too..

I was looking back and forth at them awkwardly, I knew something was just strange...

JENNIE: I'm so sleepy, let's catch up on some shows!!!

Y/N: yeah that actually sounds nice.

I started to walk with Jennie and Namjoon but Jungkook grabbed my arm...

JUNGKOOK: wait, where are you going?

Y/N: I'm going back with Jennie and Joon?

JUNGKOOK: stay with me...

Y/N: I'm really sleepy...

NAMJOON: You ready?

He said as he looked over at me... I nodded

Y/N: goodnight Kookie..

JUNGKOOK: come on, please stay we can leave together and go to your house or my hotel room...

I felt like I was stuck in the middle of a fight between my divorcing parents.. and I didn't know what to do.. I wanted to do both..but I knew I had to choose..

Y/N: Jungkook, I'm just really tired and the alcohol is wearing off and I'm starting to feel sick...  I won't be any fun..

I said with a pouty face...

He looked annoyed...

JUNGKOOK: Whatever..

He let go of my arm and walked off.... He makes me feel crazy!!!!

We were in the car on the drive back to Jennie and Joons house... Jennie sat in the back with her " guy friend " and I was in the front with Namjoon.

NAMJOON: how long have you known Jungkook?

Y/N: uhhh... I'm honestly not sure but it's been a decent amount of time...

NAMJOON: How'd you guys meet?

Y/N: uhh.. He is a friend of my step dads.

It got really quiet but his facial expression showed he wanted to say more but didn't want to annoy me...

Y/N: what?

NAMJOON: nothing..

Y/N: Joon, just say whatever you want to say...

NAMJOON: I don't want to cause issues okay?

Y/N: just fucking say it...

He heard the irritation in my voice....

NAMJOON: I... I just know how he can be...

Y/N: how can he be?

NAMJOON: He's controlling.... and his job... Do you even know what he does?

Y/N: what does he do?

NAMJOON: you really don't know?

Y/N: I do...

NAMJOON: then what the hell are you thinking?

Y/N: please save me the savior bs okay...

NAMJOON: savior bs? I'm trying to protect you..

Y/N: I don't need your protection... 

NAMJOON: y/n...

JENNIE: yaaaah stop at this store I need to pee... come with me

As she grabbed her guy friend... which left me and Namjoon in the car..

NAMJOON: listen.... he's bad news.. you're too nice of a girl and you want things that he doesn't..

Y/N: I know how he is.. I know how crazy he can be... if you know what he does for a living, then you would realize that he won't leave me alone even if I wanted him too... I ran off to Cali and I tried my best to hide and he still found me... I thought I didn't want him to but I did...

NAMJOON: you could have a normal good guy... 

Y/N: what like Jimin? Who is normal anymore...

He got quiet and looked forward while biting his cheek...

Y/N: exactly..

NAMJOON: there are plenty of somewhat not mafia leader Guys out there!

Y/N: please just stop okay, I don't even know why you're so upset like quit!

NAMJOON: because.. I just care...

Y/N: well stop.. okay?

I grabbed the door handle and went to get out but he grabbed my wrist that was on the door latch....

I just looked over at him and his face was inches away from mine...

NAMJOON: stop...

Y/N: I'm just gonna get an Uber...

NAMJOON: no..just come home with us...

Y/N: Are you done hounding me over this?

NAMJOON: you just don't get it..

He was still inches away from my face..

I put my hand on his chest trying to push him away...but it made him come closer... I don't know what's gotten into him..

Y/N: why are you so close?

He took a deep breath in and out and put his forehead up against mine... my heart was beating so fast... what is he doing?!?

We heard the car door open and Namjoon pulled away from me...

I just sat there not understanding what just happened and why he was acting this way with me...

JENNIE: yahhh let's go

We went back to their house... and Jennie and her guy friend were so busy all over each other .I ended up falling asleep on the couch while watching tv until her boyfriend left.... He closed the door so loud that it woke me up, and I looked at my phone I thought I would have text messages from Jungkook but there were none and it was three a.m...

I was super thirsty so I got up to go to the kitchen for some water, I grabbed a cup and filled it up and started to drinking but I didn't realize that Namjoon standing on the other side of the counter....

We haven't really talked since we got back, I've been kinda trying to avoid him but it's hard to do when he's my boss and my best friends brother...

Y/N: you scared me...

NAMJOON: my bad.. I thought you saw me...

I smiled slightly... There was an awkward silence..

Y/N: so... 

He looked over at me...

Y/N: what was that about earlier?

NAMJOON: what was what about ?

Y/N: ehh nothing Nevermind...

As I put the glass in the sink and started to walk back to the living room... but when I got to the edge of the counter where he was at, he stuck his arm out and stopped me from going by...

NAMJOON: have you really not seen it?

Y/N: seen what?

As he got up off the stool and started backing me up into the counter...

NAMJOON: I'm a mostly normal guy... but you never look at me..

Y/N: what do you mean I... I look at you all the time...

NAMJOON: not in that way though...

Y/N: Joon...

He put his hands on both sides of my waist.... and bent down to meet me at eye level.. I am so much shorter than him so he always towers over me...

NAMJOON: I like you... I have for awhile..... I want to protect you... and I will love you without controlling you if you let me.....

He got right up next to my ear and said " so will you let me" ?

I'm so sorry that this chapter is not as involved as my other chapters I had a short window of time to write today... but I wanted to add another little twist.. lol obviously I love twists 😂
