{Introductions}

Lyra Forrest was nothing else than a boringly ordinary orphan, until the day Professor Fig appeared at her doorstep and opened the door to an extraordinary world of magic. She hoped that the shimmering silver threads of ancient magic would guide her toward the light. Yet, little did she know that before embracing the light one must face darkness. 

From the moment he was born, Ominis Gaunt was enveloped in darkness. Throughout his life, he learned to embrace it, to honour its depths, and to navigate a world shrouded in its enigmatic nothingness. Little did he know that one day, that darkness would crack, allowing a radiant silver light to seep through and divide his existence into "before" and "after."

From an early age, Sebastian Sallow was shadowed by death, danger, and darkness. Rather than cower in fear, he chose to embrace them as companions. He longed for a brighter future for himself and his sister, Anne, yet fate had woven a different tapestry for the Sallow twins. Consumed by desperation over Anne's suffering, he was willing to forsake every last flicker of light in his heart, all in the hope of finding a cure for the only family he had left.

{Author's Note} Hi! I'm Victoria and I'm very grateful to you for giving "Silver & Darkness" a chance. I hope you have a great time reading it. It's short, has only 10 parts, and it's finished - no need to wait for the next part for weeks. 

It's not my first story; writing has been my dearest hobby since early teenage years. However, never before have I ever published my stories on Wattpad or anywhere else like it, so "S & D" can be considered as my publishing  debut XD. 

English is not my first language; so if you see some strange phrases or odd word combinations - it' s because of that.
