00:30, 11 March 2020(Taehyung shows up for a bit as Sora's brother and so do Sora's mother and father as Mr. and Mrs. Kim)
The night of the fight Jimin decided to sleep on the couch and he did the same thing every following night.
He practically stopped talking to Sora all together until she told him that they need to meet up with her parents tonight.
"Whatever." Jimin walked past her figure as she was leaning on the bathroom door frame.
"Dress nice, we'll be leaving at seven."
The past days Jimin has been coming into work with a sour mood, but today he knew it would be even worse when he saw his father in laws car in front of the office building.
No matter how hard he worked he was still the boss that got to his spot just for having a few strings to pull.
Being a good boss was hard when you workers found you incompetent for your spot no matter how much you worked your ass off.
Today was no different, he was once again on the receiving end of the dirty looks that seemed to worsen when Mr. Kim embraced him in front of his office.
He kept blabbing on about an amazing night out he planned out for his son Taehyung, himself and Jimin, going into disgusting detail about the new strip club he's been visiting.
As soon as he could he ushered the man out of his office, excusing himself because he had to much work. hoping that he'll take the hint.
His stomach was already twisting with disgust at the mere thought of being in the company of those people.
All of them were born into a good life that Sora's grandfather created for them, but all of them were leaches except for Sora who sadly decided to marry her work and one day become the CEO of the whole company and hold all of the stocks.
Sometimes Jimin takes a moment to step into her shoes and blames her incompetent father for never stepping up to the work instead of just praising his daughter for overworking herself to the point where she abandoned everything else in life.
When he married her he automatically got a share of the company, without a question asked.
He tried to work as hard as Sora, just to show her that she wasn't alone in this, but she only saw it as a competition.
The day he got that share and became the head of the marketing branch he sealed a contract with the devil himself and it was hard to get out of it unharmed.
Once again he was passing through paperwork without giving it much thought and time slowly dragged on till it was 5 PM and it was time to leave.
Jimin barely got himself home, every cell in his body screaming for him to call Sora and tell her that he had to stay at work till later and that he'll have to take a rain check for this family outing.
He waited for Sora to come down and get in the car and as soon as she was in the car she began her nagging.
"Put on a grin. it's not like we're going to a funeral." she sighed, her eyes rolling on instinct.
"Might as well be." Jimin started the car and drove off.
He didn't know what he was expecting when he got to their table, but it certainly wasn't this act his, so called wife was putting on.
She was reaching out to hold his hand as often as she could, leaning her head against his shoulder and kissing his cheek whenever her mother would compliment the two of them as a couple.
Jimin almost started to go along with it until Mrs. Kim made Sora sputter for a moment and let her facade fall.
"You know the company is doing well now, have you thought about taking a break?" Sora's mother asked her, with a devilish grin on her lips.
"Why would I?" Sora bit back.
"Maybe to be a mother finally?"
Cue, Sora choking on her bite of food.
If Jimin got a dollar every time this topic rose up during these family meet ups, he'd been divorced by now.
"Yes Sora. I got the company now, grandpa has been telling me something about signing over some more branches to me anyway." Taehyung knew he hit a sore spot by mentioning this to his sister.
It obviously didn't sit well with her, but she threw on a fake smile and nodded, quietly sitting through the rest of the dinner.
When it was all coming to an end Mr.Kim was pulling on Jimin's sleeve and ushering Sora into the car with her mother.
"You're mom will drop you off honey. It's time for the boys to bond."
Sora didn't like the idea of it but not because of Jimin not going home with her, more because she'll be listening to her mothers nagging about grandchildren for half an hour, and that's only if the traffic is good.
Having no other choice Jimin drove behind Taehyung and his father in law, until they pulled into the parking lot at the club.
Correction.
Strip club.
Upon going in he bee lined for the bathroom while the other two men went to their reserved table.
He stayed in the bathroom for a few minutes thinking of a way out of here before splashing himself with cold water and going back out.
He hasn't been out like this in a while and he wasn't used to this anymore.
The music was too loud, abusing his ears and thoughts.
The sweaty bodies pressing onto him and scandalously clad waitresses trying to get his attention were pissing him the fuck off.
He was trying to shield his eyes from the abusive neon lights that were flickering too much for his liking and then he crashed into one of the servers there.
The poor girl fell back into the crowd of people and without a thought Jimin held onto her hands to stable her.
"I'm so sorry." he squinted his eyes to look at the girl and felt her tense up as his eyes focused on her face.
A very uncomfortable tightness twisted it's way through Jimins chest and as if an explosion happened in his body, his heart started beating furiously.
His eyebrows dipped down in anger eyes no longer tired as he yanked the girl he was holding through the closest exit and pushed her into the alley.
"What the fuck are you doing Y/N?"
The disappointment in his voice didn't allow her to voice a single word out for a few long seconds.
Something sad and horrid started to fill out the silence of this cold night and she uncomfortably stood there looking so out of place.
This beautiful, smart and charming, too fucking charming, girl he knew was standing in front of him in a thin tank top, nothing underneath it.
Jimin didn't let his eyes linger too long on her chest.
The skimpy shorts she was wearing looked trashy, worn out like this and yet when he saw her in them the other day he thought it made her look cute, with the color splashes on them and a stray thread here and there making them seem old and worn out.
Ignoring his question she crossed her arms over her chest and mumbled a barely audible sentence.
"I need to work."
"The hell you do!" he pulled her back in front of him and nudging her backwards into the wall behind her.
Standing so close to her he finally noticed the goosebumps on her skin so he took his jacket off and draped it over her shoulders.
"Come on. I'm taking you home." his voice finally seemed to soften, but sadly it was out of pity this time.
"Jimin just leave okay? Please?! I can't go, I'm working." she argued stubbornly.
"Y/N what would Matt say if he..."
"He knows. And he's fine with it." she cut in.
"How can he be okay with...with...with this?!" he straightened out both of his hands at her figure, eyes practically popping out of his scull from glaring and voice ringing through the empty alley.
"It's not like I'm the one spinning around the pole Jimin!!! He doesn't care if I'm just the waitress!" she shouted over him, cheeks red in anger and embarrassment.
He could feel the words bubble up in his throat, but he shouldn't say them.
He shouldn't.
But he did.
"Well I fucking care and you're not going back in there!!!" he grabbed her wrist in a bruising grasp and pulled her to his car.
She was too stunned to argue with him and she sat in the passenger seat, brows stuck in a angry expression with her chest rapidly raising and falling with every breath she took to calm down.
He didn't spare her a glance as he started the car, anger equal if not worse than hers, making the veins in his arms pop out from how tightly he was holding the steering wheel.
After what seemed like hours of silent driving they were finally parked in front of their apartment complex sitting in the car, neither daring to speak.
Jimin turned to look at her and as soon as she saw him open his mouth she bolted out of the car and ran up the stairs and into the building.
It was 2:15 AM and Jimin was still in his car throwing punches at his steering wheel, cursing himself for reacting the way he did.
Fuck his bad temper.
Fuck it.
Fuck this feeling.
The punches kept landing on the soft leather until he finally slammed his head against it.
It was 2:30 AM when he sat down on the stairs where he used to sit with Y/N.
Time ticked by quickly, or maybe he was just too lost in thought.
His sleeves were rolled back, shirt no longer tucked into his dress pants, and the first few buttons unbuttoned as he stared down at the ground.
He didn't hear the door of the building open, nor did he hear the footsteps pass by him.
It was only when he felt a tap on his shoulder, then he turned to face whoever was disturbing him and once again was met by the same eyes that have been glaring at him for the whole ride back home.
"Come on, get up." her arms were still crossed over her chest until he got up and stood in front of her with his hands in his pockets, face unreadable.
Unreadable until she wrapped her fingers in the short strands of hair on the nape of his neck and pulled him down for a kiss.
My eyes are about to fall out.
