The Next Morning 

I woke up with Y/N inside my arms. She was making sure the whole night that I was not hugging her with my left arm which was injured.  She looks so peaceful and as always beautiful. She whimpered in her sleep and snuggled into my chest more. After some minutes she woke up.

JK: Morning sweetheart. 

She blinked to adjust the light and then looked up at me showing me the warmest smile of the universe. 

Y/N: Good morning. Is your arm okay?

JK: Yeah it's fine. 

Y/N: Your bruises have also started to fade away. Good thing. Now go and freshen up. After that I will do your dressing. 

JK: Yes Ma'am. 

She giggled at my answer. How cute this girl can be! 

After dressing my wound we heard the doorbell ringing. 

Jimin: Yo Jungkook where are you?

JK: What the hell is he doing here? I AM HERE IN MY ROOM.

I shouted back. Then Jimin and V came inside my room. They wished Y/N and me a good morning. 

V: Did you guys already have your breakfast?

Y/N: No we still haven't. 

V: Great then Y/N can you make us some breakfast with you too? We are hungry. 

JK: Yah why are you guys asking her for breakfast?

Y/N: It's okay I will make them for you. Wait a bit.

Jimin: You are the best.

She smiled and left the room. V plopped down on the bed beside me hugging my pillow. 

V: So bro how's your injury?

JK: It's nothing, just a small cut. Even Y/N can treat it.

Jimin: We really thought he stabbed you.

JK: He was about to but Y/N screamed so I got alerted. 

V: You are lucky to have her.

JK: I KNOW.

A proud smile made its way to my face.

Jimin: Yeah she really loves you a lot.

My heartbeat stopped. What is he saying? Is it true? Does she love ME?

JK: What did you just say?

Jimin: What? Ohh that she loves you?

JK: How are you so sure about it?

V: Come on kook isn't it obvious?

I raised my eyebrows. 

V: Why are you looking at me like that? Wait, don't tell me you haven't proposed to her yet.

JK: Why would I propose to her when I don't love her?

Jimin: Here you go again. Why don't you simply understand?

V: I mean do you really not understand or trying not to understand the fact?

JK: What the hell are you guys talking about in the morning? I have clearly told yall that the only thing I have for her is that I am obsessed with her. Nothing less nothing more. It's not love. Love is not something that will be happening in my or her life.

Jimin: Fine. So did you have sex with her?

I was taken aback by his question. 

JK: No....

V: Why?

JK: Because I want to........

Jimin: You want to?

JK: I......

V: You said that you are obsessed with her. In the case of obsession it's always about the opposite person's body. In other words, obsession comes from sexual attraction. But look at you. You have been with her for more than six months and didn't have sex yet. It's funny at this point. 

Jimin: Exactly. I never saw someone so obsessive to control himself this much. Do you know why you haven't slept with her yet? It's because you are waiting. You are waiting for her to fall for you. You are unknowingly waiting for yourself to fall in love with her which you already did. But this dumbass mind of yours is not ready to accept that.

JK: You are wrong. Love is not something I can do.

V: For God's sake stop it Jungkook. Just because it didn't work for one couple and led them to death doesn't mean that it will happen with every single couple on this planet. There are millions of couples who are leading a beautiful life while loving each other. 

Jimin: Besides, what's the problem with loving her?

JK: If I love her then.....then she will......

Jimin: She will do nothing, Jungkook. Just admit that you love her. For how long are you gonna hide your own feelings from yourself? 

JK: You won't understand what I am trying to say.

V: We won't because you are trying to say something that doesn't make any sense. Can't you see what an amazing and loving girl she is? She will give you nothing but immense love and happiness. And if she is asking for some love in return then why can't you give it to her.

Suddenly we heard a slight knock on the door. We turned our heads to the door and discovered a smiling Y/N.

Y/N: The breakfast is ready. Come and eat. 

Jimin and V smiled. 

Jimin: Yeah coming.

Then she left and Jimin turned to me.

Jimin: Look bro we know your situation and understand you too. But just think about it calmly. Think about everything we said. You will find your answer. 

V: After you find it, don't waste anymore time, okay?

After breakfast V and Jimin left. Y/N came to me as I was watching tv in the living room. 

Y/N: Is your arm okay now?

JK: Don't worry princess. It was nothing from the beginning. 

Y/N: No it was. He stabbed you with a knife. You bleeded. 

I chuckled. 

JK: It's not called stabbing. It's just a small cut. Don't worry too much.

Y/N: Okay. I am leaving for my class. Do you need anything?

JK: Is it necessary to go?

Y/N: Yeah I also have an exam at the end of the class. So I will leave now. 

She was about to go but had to stop after hearing my voice. 

JK: Aren't you forgetting something?

Y/N: What?

JK: A kiss.

Y/N: What?

JK: Yes come and give me a kiss before leaving. 

Y/N: Are you being serious right now? I am going. Rest a lot.

She was going but I stood up and went near her. I grabbed her arm and pulled her close to me for a kiss. I kissed her lips. Her eyes widened. I didn't make the kiss deep because it will just make me lose my control. 

JK: You can go now. Come back fast, okay baby?

She just nodded as her cheeks were fully red. I laughed at her cuteness and she left. I went back to the couch and started watching Netflix. I won't go to the office today.

As I was watching a movie suddenly a scene came on the screen where the male lead was proposing to his partner. Then it hit me. Jimin and V's words.

"Jimin: Think about everything we said. "

I shrugged off their words from my mind. But they didn't go away. Everything they said was coming back to my mind and I couldn't help but think about it. Actually there is a reason why I hate love. 

My mom and dad used to love each other a lot.  They were leading the happiest life. There was only love in our small family. So as a 6 years old child I always thought love is something really beautiful until that day came. That dark night when everything got ruined and love became my enemy. 

My dad went out of the city for a mission as he was a mafia. Only me and my mom were at our mansion. Obviously we had lots of security guards and bodyguards. But little did we know that they weren't enough. My dad's enemy who used to love my mom too attacked us.

They spread poisonous gas which made all our guards collapse and then he got inside the mansion with his men. He was also a mafia. His main intention was to take my mom with him. For some reason he didn't know about my existence. He didn't know that my mom had a son. 

He became really angry. The fact that my mom and dad had made love together and I am the result made him really angry. So he shooted my mom right in front of my eyes. While he was shooting her the only sentence that came out of his mouth was, " I loved you ". He even tried to kill me but my dad's secretary came in time and saved me.

I couldn't save my mom because I was too young but from that very day love became poisonous for me. I hated this feeling. This took my happy family, my mom, my dad's happiness and everything. My dad completely broke down. But he kept going because of me.

Now back to the present. Because of all these I never let myself love anyone. But after hearing Jimin and V's words I started reconsidering the whole thing. 

Do I really love her?
