Asgard

16:34, 13 August 2021

"Why did you bring us back?" Thor asked as we landed in a golden dome.

"Do you realize what you have done? What you have started!" Allfather yelled

"I was protecting my home."

"You can't even protect your friends." Allfather says as he takes a sword out and throws it to a brown skinned man. "How can you hope to protect a kingdom. Go to the healing room, now!" The other Asgardians took the injured man out.

"There won't be a kingdom to protect if you are afraid to act." I stayed still hoping I would be invisible. "The Jotuns must learn to fear me just as they once feared you." Odin?

"That is pride and vanity talking not leadership. You've forgotten everything I taught you. About a warriors patience." The raven haired man looked as uncomfortable as I am at this moment. Should I sneak out?

"While you wait and be patient the nine realms laugh at us. The old ways are done you stand giving speeches while Asgard falls."

"You are a vain, greedy, cruel boy!" Odin yelled.

"And you're old man and a fool!" Thor yelled back to his Father.

"Yes." Odin looks down. "I was a fool, to think you were ready."

"Father-." The raven haired man stepped toward Odin. Father?

"Aaaeerrr!" Odin yelled at him. He backed up. "Thor, Odinson. You have betrayed the express command of your King. Through your arrogance and stupidity you have opened these peaceful realms and innocent lives to the horror and desolation of war." Odin takes his staff and sticks it where the sword just was, causing lightning to struck out. Odin then walks down to Thor. "You are unworthy of these relics." He rips off Thor's cape. "You are unworthy of your title! You are unworthy!" Odin yells at Thor. "Of the loved ones, you have betrayed." Odin walks up the steps and turns back to Thor. "I now take from you, your power." His hammer flies into Odins hands. "In the name of my Father, and his Father before. I now Odin Allfather. Case you out." Odin then hits Thor with lightning sending him into the Bifrost. Odin then whispers to the hammer and throws it in after Thor.

"And who might you be!" Odins booming voice made me flinch. The raven haired man also looked at me.

"She helped us in battle Father." He said. I smiled at him.

"I asked her." Odin said as he took out his staff.

"I am Nimue, Allfather." I kneeled on one knee.

"Rise." I stand back up. "What brings you to Asgard?" Does he know I am Jotun?

"What do you mean Allfather?" Please tell me he doesn't know...

"You are not Asgardian. Show yourself!" I stopped the illusion, my skin turned blue and my eyes red as blood. The raven haired man looks at me then proceeded to look at his arm.

"I needed passage off Jotun. I promise I mean no harm. You can send me away, anywhere except Jotun." I say fast. "Please." Please don't kill me...

"You would leave your home?" Is that really a question?

"As you may know Jotun isn't really a home." I chuckled. Odin huffed and held his chin up. "I'm sorry if I came uninvited. I saw my chance and I took it." Odin looked at the raven haired man then back at me.

"Loki says you helped them in the battle." I nod. So his name is Loki.... "You are welcome on Asgard as long as you keep your illusion that you are one of us."

"Really?" I furrowed my brows. "I mean thank you. But I-."

"You can stay in the palace until you find a permanent place or if you wish to leave for another realm." Odin says. My eyes widen.

"Th-thank you Allfather." I smile.

Odin then leaves without a second glance and storms to what I can only guess is the castle. I turn to the raven haired man but he avoids my gaze and goes to walk out.

"Would you like to talk about what happened." He turns back to me. "You keep looking at your arm." I point to his arm. He gives me a scowl. "If you would like you can try it again." I hold out my hand. He looks at my hand and it itches him to want to test it.

"I won't touch a monster like you." He seethed then walked out. Wow...

"If you need someone to talk to I'm here!" I yelled to him. He kept storming off away from me.

I sighed as I followed him out. My feet stopped at the bright golden city before me. I have only seen the cold dark world of Jotun my whole life. This is new to me.

"Welcome to Asgard Lady Nimue." The brown skinned man said. "I am Heimdal, gatekeeper of the Bifrost."

"Hello, Asgard is beautiful. This must be what Valhalla looks like." I chuckle. He smirks.

"I would think Valhalla would have its own beauty, more than Asgard." He walks to my side. "Don't worry about Prince Loki. He has yet to figure out what he saw." He told me.

"He called me monster, I guess Asgard doesn't talk kindly about Jotuns." I put my Asgardian illusion back on.

"No they do not. It is time fo you to head back." Heimdal says. I look at the long rainbow bridge that leads through a village to the golden castle. "It's to bad everyone took there own horses."

"It's fine. I've walked all my life. I can handle some more." I laugh. "It was nice meeting you." He nods as I walk away.

So, Jotuns are monsters to Asgardians, great. Thor, Odins son was banished and Prince Loki hates me. But he might need someone to talk to soon. I would agree and say Jotuns are monsters, but they aren't that bad.

As I walk I keep looking closer to the details of Asgard, gold is used in everything. Especially the castle which is made by it. The rainbow bridge erupts with more color every step I take, it travels for miles until the village takes over the path.

Maybe I will like it here, I was planning to go to Midgard since it seems most casual. I wouldn't want to go to Alfheim, to snobby. Then there is Helheim, Musdellheim which you would have to be an daft to want to go there. Vanaheim seems fine but is is like Asgard without the gold. Midgard seems casual in the stories, mortals live there.
