Freedom

        While I was reading the ground shook, nothing I have ever experienced before. I closed my book and went to investigate like the bored and curious girl I am. I set down my book and walked to the cave door, grabbing my shawl in the process. It's not that I get cold, I just like being more covered when I'm not in the safety of my home.

       I walked out into the snowing planet, Frost Giants in the shadows as if waiting for battle. As I near the throne of Laufey, Frost Giants glare at me to tell me to leave. I don't listen for I am my own person, they are to weak to pick a fight with me.

"Do not dishonor my Fathers name with your lies!" A man yelled. I stepped behind a ice wall so I could watch from afar.

       A man with a red cape and a hammer stands in front of Laufey. Four more figures crowd around him, Asgardians. At least this is what I believe an Asgardian looks like, I was just a baby when they last stepped foot in Jotunheim and that was for war.

"Your Father is a murderer and a thief!" Laufey snaps at the man. "And why have you come here to make peace! You long for battle. You crave it. You're nothing but a boy, trying to prove himself a man."

"This boy has grown tired of your mockery." As if those words were a signal, the Frost Giants started to crystallize there weapons.

       One of the figures with black hair like mine walked up to the red caped man and whispered something in his ear.

"You no not what your actions would unleash." Laufey says quietly. "I do. Go now, while I still allow it." Not without me...

      I stepped from behind the wall and made an illusion of myself if I were an Asgardian. As Laufey stepped closer to the two Asgardians I circled my way around more ice.

"Run back home little princess." Laufey mocks. Damn...

    The man in the red cape then lowered and swung his hammer at Laufey, making him fly back into the wall. The whole place turned into a battle ground, 6 Asgardians against Laufeys soldiers. Of course if I want to get off this planet I can't let them die.

       I jumped into battle, using a mixture of my magic and ice manipulation. I began sending ice shards in other Frost Giants, sharp enough to cause damage. Energy blasts flew out of my hands towards more Giants.

"Nimue!!!" Laufey yelled at me. I looked at his face of fury. I smiled as I continued to fight.

      One of the Frost Giants kicked a female Asgardian to the ground, I leaped over her and tacklers the Giant, stabbing him with another ice spear. She nodded at me when she stood up and we continued fighting.

      I saw a Giant run towards the black hair man who was on the cliff. I ran to help but I was to late as the Giant ran right through the man. Illusions?

"Ahhh!" A curly red haired man yelled. "Don't let them touch you!" Does our touch burn them?

     The as I battled I ended up on the side of the battle ground with the raven man. Not soon after one grabbed his arm. I ran to him, he wasn't screaming. Doesn't it burn? He was staring at his arm as I leaped at the Giant and sending flying to the ground where I stabbed him. I turned back around and went to the man who was still shocked and looking at his arm.

"Are you ok?" I watched as his arm was disappearing the Frost Giant blue. "You're Jotun?" I asked surprised. He looked up to me like he had no idea.

"I'm fine." He then went back to battling.

        More of my kind died by my hand, one by one they fell to me.

"Ahhh." A blonde haired man groaned as he was impaled with ice spears. I threw a ice shard at the Giant who cause it.

"Thor." The woman yelled to the caped man.

"We must go!" Jotun Man yelled.

"Then go!" The cape man yelled back as he send his hammer through multiple Giants.

       Laufey then released his beast. Personally I have never seen it in action, it has always been frozen in ice. The man I believe is Thor stayed behind to continue fighting the Giants as the rest flees with the injured Asgardian. I went to help the others with the beast since Thor seemed to be handling it fine.

       As I ran to the others I created walls of ice in front of the beast to slow it down or hopefully knock it out. Jumping and ducking over ice as I ran, sending spears and more walls of ice to the beast yet it wouldn't slow.

      The beast then went under the ground and started climbing towards us from below. We ran until we got to the cliff.

"Heimdal open the bridge." A man yelled.

"Move back!" I yelled to them. They looked back at me as I ran I front of them. "Get away from the edge!" One of the beats claws attached itself on the ground in front of them. "Move you idiots!" The beast lifted itself onto ground.

      As I ran I sent spears of ice at the monsters legs. A red blur the shot into the monsters mouth making it go limp. I stopped in front of the monster and jumped as Thor landed next to me. I scrunched my face as he winked and smiled at me.

     All of us turned to see an army of Giants surrounding us on the cliff. Then a bright light came from the sky above us, leaving a man on a white creature.

"Father!" Thor yelled with his hammer in the air. "We will fight them together." He said proudly.

"Silence." His Father hissed. Laufey then came out of the ground and moves so he was towering the man. "Laufey, end this now."

"Allfather..... Your boy sought this out." Laufey said as he smiled at me.

"These are the actions of a boy. Take them as such. You and I can end this here, now." Laufey snapped his head back to Allfather.

"We are beyond diplomacy now. He'll get what he came for, war and death."

"So be it." Allfather said. Laufey was them flung back by a blinding light took us away.
