"Oh my gosh"

I roll back over and gently shake Aquila awake, even though I know she does not want to be awoken, if I don't tell her this now and she finds out...actually I don't want to know what would happen, if that were to happen. As I shake her, I see her stirring and she rolls over and flutters open her eyes,

"Why'd you wake me? Is something wrong?"

"Yes. Look at this." I flip my phone over to her and instantly see the colour drain from her face, I instantly wrap an arm around her shoulder and pull her towards me. I feel her body tense up as she sharply inhales reading the headline. Its only a matter of milliseconds before her voice cracks as she speaks

"W-w-what is this? Where is the photo from oh my gosh. Who- HARRY FUCKING LEWIS GET IN HERE NOW!!!" My eyes widen as I quickly remove my arm from Aquila's body, I hear quiet, hesitant footsteps before the door is opened VERY slowly.

"Heyyyyy guys, good mor-"

"No haz not good morning! Tell me why arts and I are trending on twitter being a couple ?!" at this point she's shaking so i just wrap my arms around her just rubbing circles on her arm and in her hair, anything to distract her from freaking out and having a panic attack.

"Quilah it wasn't me ! Jj put it up." Harry shit his hands up in defence,

"How did Jj get that photos haz ? HMM? SIMON FUCKING MINTER !!!" the door practically falls open as Simon walks in with a scared look on his face as if he may die. He might so I don't blame him.

"in our defence we told him to delete it." his hands also go up in the air now and there is silence for about five seconds before harry peeps his mouth open and speaks again.

"i may or may not have sent it to the big chatters group chat when i came in here to find another blanket."

when harry says that, i lob a pillow over and it hits him square in the face he makes an oof sound as he stumbles back.

"you fucking idiot haz! why do you have to be annoyingggggg."

"oh come on it was cute! look at everyone's reaction..aside from Jj. He only did it because he didn't know initially that you two liked each other which is stupid as hell by the way because it is so bloody obvious!" haz passes his phone to me and arthur and i scroll through the group chat just slowly reading the conversation with everyone when i see dejis response and reaction.

"i'll just pop outside for a sec i have to make a phone call to a couple people" i say before springing out of the bed and handing arthur the phone before walking outside into the corridor before dialling deji's number.

I was about to hang up on the fourth ring when i heard the man pick up his phone and speak sheepishly into it

"heyyyyyy quilah, what's up ? how's it going !"

"i read everything u sent in the big chatters d." i took a deep breath before continuing

"WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU OUT ME LIKE THAT D!!! DID YOU FORGET THAT LITERALLY ALL THE LADS ARE IN THAT CHAT ESPECIALLY YOUR BROTHER WHO IS THE BIGGEST LOUD MOUTH OUT OF EVERYONE !! I AM FURIOUS D I AM JUST SO MAD THAT YOU EXPOSED ME TO ALL THEM BOYS! I WILL NEVER LIVE THIS DOWN NOW AND ITS ALL THANKS TO YOU D SO THANK YOU FIR CREATING MY MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT EVER OH AND BECAUSE OF THAT AND STUPID JJ IM NOW TRENDING ON TWITTER WITH ARTIE !!! WHERE. IS. YOUR. BROTHER. TODAY?!!"

i heard a very small exhale and a sharp inhale before deji spoke back

"Quilah okay first of all I just want to say i am SO sorry !!! like seriously i am actually so sorry because they were all like omg they're so cute and it took them long enough and i joined in the convo late which is totally not an excuse come to think of it. and i know jj posted it twitter we all told him not to and to remove it and i even told him that i didn't tell him because he doesn't know how to shut the fuck up, oh my gosh quilah he got roasted by everyone for that. ANYWAYS i know that he is filming moresidemen today at the studio so you can crash it? oh and we have an among us sesh at 5pm tonight if u just wanna air him out in the discord? i'm so sorry again quilah !!"

"it's fine d, sorry for getting so mad at you, you literally did nothing and i was just upset because once the boys realise that YOU have me advise, they will not shut up at not leave me alone until they find out why i didn't ask them. anyways i gotta go, i may or may not have woken talia so i'm gonna go chat with her. i'll deffo take up the offer on the among us sesh tho so be ready. love ya d!"

once i hang up the phone, i look on twitter to see the responses. this is something i probably shouldn't have done...

the more i scrolled, the more that came in. these comments were outright horrid and some of them were just attacking me as a person calling me all sorts of names. I didn't know what to do, i could feel myself hyperventilating and my hands start shaking. when i heard the door open, my phone flopped out of my hands and onto the floor, a sleep talia walks out the guest room and upon seeing me she quickly rushes over to me and hugs me as i sink to the ground. her hand is runnning through my hair as she coos whispers encouraging words and telling me that i'm safe here. another door open shortly after and there's a lot of footsteps that follow it, i look up and see all three boys surrounding me with worried expressions. Harry looks down at my phone and flips it over to see the twitter thread that i was looking at. an angry expression falls onto his face and he speaks up,

"Quilah this is not right! We have to say something to the fans so they stop."

"No-no-no, Haz just leave it, i-i-it'll be o-okay." i say shakily but Arthur quickly swoops me up and picks me up as he speaks up,

"Lilee, this is not okay! People have no control over our lives and they are down right threatening you for no reason! Whether you want us to or not, we will be saying something okay? It will only get worse from here and I don't want you getting more hurt than you already are, I mean you're shaking and about to have a panic attack. Please!" I look up into the brunette's eyes and they are laced with concern and have a glossy look to them, I wipe the few stray tears on his cheek before continuing,

"Okay, i'm sorry for all this. I shouldn't have gotton so close to you Artie."

"Are you crazy? Never in a million years will I let you go again alright? You're stuck with me whether you like it or not 'kay? It's us against them now and who cares what they think, they don't know us and how well we know each other and how long we've known each other okay. It's a bunch of teenagers jealous and insecure. Don't let them break you down." he kisses my forehead and sets me down before speaking again,

"Now, you go and get ready because I have a date to take you on." and with that Talia squeals so loudly that I cover my ears and both Harry and Simon jump, she grabs my arm and is pulling me away as she replies to the boys,

"Oh don't worry Arthur, she is super excited for this and is gonna look so hot you will drop!"

"I don't think we should do this, artie what if someone sees us and takes a photo!"

"Then so be it, I'm not hiding us because of some stupid fans okay, this has been planned for so long and I'm going to write a statement out now. No arguments, no debate, we. are. going. on. our. date."

"YAYYYY! OH MY GOSH LI YOU ARE GOING TO LOOK FAB!! COME ON LETS GET YOU READYYYY!" talia continues to pull me away as I give the three boys a small smile and follow her to the guest room all giddy and giggling, excited for what's to come.
