22 - She's bacK

Kyeom's pov.

" She's back?!? Sid she woke up from her coma already?" Asked Joshi. We already went back to our room in a state of panic. Leaving Mingyu and Wonu to play with Dino. Who's now energetic from him power nap.

"I don't know. All Joshua said was she's back. And then hang up." I said in panic.

"Okey let's think about this. And call my damn brother again. Why is he sending scary messages like that." Joshi said as he contacted Joshua this time.

After a few tries he finally picked up.

"Hello? What the hell do you mean that she's back? Are you talking about your evil step mom? That wants to kill us all?" He said and I just looked at him. Maybe he's the one that needs to calm down. Joshi placed him on speaker.

"Relax dude. I was just about to call Kyeom again to explain. And no she's still in a coma she deserved.. and I was talking about my ex! And that's why I needed your help." He said and we both look at each other in confusion.

"Ex? What the hell? Who are you talking about?" I asked.

"A little too angry at that news. Remember I'm still your boyfriend. Don't be overprotective about my brother." Joshi said and I looked at him and rolled my eyes.

"Is this even the right time to get jealous?" I asked him and he pouted.

"Anyway, yes I have a lot of international exes. Sorry to burst your bubble Kyeom. I just saw your post and if I'm right she saw it too because not only is she going to italy, she shared that she was staying at the same hotel with you guys. If I'm correct she has already arrived and probably on her way there." He said and I looked at Joshi.

"Why can you be just a normal twin? Why do you need to have crazy women all over you all the time. This is the Only time I hate the fact that we look alike." Joshi said and I laughed.

"Come on Josh, i know you had some crazy exes too." He tried to justify himself.

"I don't have any exes as crazy as yours. I have only one ex and she's still as sane as any woman is sane. And we are definitely still friends." He said proudly. Oh I didn't know this about him. I thought he was just single the whole time and I was his first relationship.

"You had an ex? I thought you just have flings?" I asked.

"Ohhhh loaded question. Just tell me if you see her. Don't pretend not to know her, she likes that. Byeeee" Joshua said on the other line and cut the call.

"I had one and she was a friend. We were young and decided to try dating because we were both curious of a relationship." Joshi explained.

"Should I be worried?" I asked him and he laughed.

"Like I told you she's not crazy unlike my brother's exes. And you're the one I like now. No need to be worried." He said as he gave me a peck on the lips.

"Alright. Whatever I'm just shocked." I said.

"About my ex?" He asked awkwardly.

"No not that! I've already moved on from that." I said and then he looked shocked as if he was expecting me to be jealous or something.

"Oh then what?" He asked.

" Now that I realized it.. Joshua is not the person I admired in school. He is totally the imperfect guy and I didn't see it. It was all a front... he has crazy exes... crazy family and a crazy life with his crazy twin. I guess he's just unlucky like that." I joked and Joshi laughed as well.

"But you like his crazy twin." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Oh you're in a better mood now so you're allowed to make jokes?" I told him and he laughed.

"Let's not worry about her. Maybe we wont even meet her. I mean we never met her" Joshi said and just like that someone opened the door.

"Uhmmmm do you guys like to eat some pizza?" Dino suddenly asked.

"Dino? What are you doing up?" I asked. I mean it was late already but not that much probably around 9-10 pm.

"Well I went to the kitchen to get some water because I was thirsty but then as I was getting some of their sparkling water, I saw auntie making some. She told me to ask you guys if you like some midnight snack. Also she told me there was a little Lasagna left over... should I call everyone?" He said and I smiled.

"Sure... where're Mingyu and Wonu I thought you guys were together?" I asked.

"Oh they left earlier something about settling something." He said sleepily.

"Well too bad more food for us." Joshua said and we walked towards the kitchen together. As soon as we arrived we saw Vernon and Kwannie sitting side by side with a glass of wine.

"Look how delicious!!!" Kwannie said as he pointed at the pizza bubbling inside the oven almost ready to come out.

"Yeah we heard." I said. Then Hoshi entered as well. After a few minutes the pizza was ready.

"Cheol and Hannie?" I asked.

"They went to the beach." Hoshi answered.

"Wow the beach this late." Joshi said.

"And Woozi?" Vernon asked this time.

"Actually no idea..." I said.

"Me too.." Hoshi added. Ofcourse because he was avoiding him all day.

"Oh now that you guys mentioned.. what happened to Woozi? I don't wanna spill the tea but here it goes. I was gonna grab some cleaning supplies from the storage room in the afternoon earlier, when I heard him crying in the balcony, like small sniffles." I don't wanna assume but that's what I heard.

"He cried?" Hoshi asked concerned this time and a little guilty.

"Oh no.. he must have something in his mind that someone here could just talk about it and clear it up like a normal human being instead of avoiding every interaction." I said particularly saying as if I was talking about Hoshi as I looked at him the whole time.

"What'd you do?!?" Asked Vernon.

"What?!? I did nothing! Well I am avoiding him but... not the problem here right? Maybe he just have something on his mind. Let's just eat pizza here right Auntie???" Hoshi denies and turns to our auntie cooking.

"You know my husband and I rarely fight. And we've been married for 30 years. " She bragged.

"Really?" I asked trying to listen to her.

"Yeah.. we tell each other everything. What we ate this morning and what we did in the afternoon. We are very open with each other. Communicating was not a problem and that's probably why we lasted for so long." She said and I looked at Joshi. He was so intent of listening to Auntie's story.

"Aweeee That's so cute." Kwannie said.

"Yes. I believe that genuine connection comes from complete honesty. So why don't you go check on your friend?" She added.

Hoshi was silent.

"You are like a motivational speaker Auntie. And this pizza was amazing." Dino trying to make sound as he added.

"No problem. Just tell me anything you wanna eat. Oh and my daughter's single." She said as she poked his nose. Oh she's still shipping her daughter to us all.

"Well maybe we could hang out so you can cook for me everyday." Dino said and I slapped his arm.

"Sorry about him. Our mom is away most of the time because of her Job recently so mu brother's just being crazy." I said.

"Oh no problem at all.. my daughter would like him." auntie said as she laughed at both of us hitting each other.

Then we enjoyed pizza and wine together talking until Cheol and Hannie came back. They were pretty spent and decided to sleep on it. We were all still pretty energetic and played some games with Auntie. She was so cute and energetic so we didn't even feel time passing by.

Then a few more bites later, Wonu and Mingyu were back.

"We found this guy sitting outside the door trying to figure out how to open it with his freaking mind." Wonu said as Mingyu carried Woozi in. Oh he's definitely drunk.

"What? He's drunk? He never drinks." Hoshi asked concerned.

"He probably has something in his mind. Your fault." Vernon added.

"Oh he's not only drunk. He's dead drunk." Mingyu added.

"Oh dear.. come here let me help you guys out to clean him up." Auntie volunteered but Hoshi was already in front of Mingyu grabbing Woozi's arm to him.

"I'll take care of him." he said in the most serious tone ever. And then proceeded to carry the dead Woozi in their room.

"Oh this is a new development. He made the sober one of us drink." Kwannie said and chuckled.

"Their relationship is weird." Mingyu added.

"Oh atleast they have one." Kwannie joked and Dino almost choked on his last piece of pizza and laughed.

"What did I do to you?!" Mingyu said pouting and we all laughed while Wonu stayed quiet drinking his wine.

"Let's grab something to eat." Mingyu said to me for the 7th time after I told him that I was full.

"Look if you wanna go out just go and leave without me." I said as I continued to play with my phone.

"Alright let's go. Grab your jacket." He said all of a sudden and literally dragged me outside.

"Didn't you hear what I just said?" I asked him.

"I did." He said as he continued to grab me into the car and even put my seatbelt for me as he smiled innocently.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Whe're gonna go bowling. I asked Joshua if there was a nice dating— I mean hanging out place and he recommended this." He said while I clearly heard what he said at first.

"You're so weird and annoying." I said and then continued to play with my phone.

"You know it's been a long time since we talked." He suddenly said and I looked at him as he drove.

"We talk all the time." I commented.

"No. I mean I miss the talks we had when— when I didn't know it was you that time." He added and I placed my phone down.

"Oh yeah before you completely shut me down when I confessed that I was Winnie? Right" I said sarcastically and he just looked at me and then back to the road.

"You know I said I was sorry already and really regret what I did right?" He suddenly said.

" yeah but I still remember you flat out rejecting me. Telling me to my face you hate me so that's that." I said without thinking and then I realized that I just said my thoughts out loud.

"Oh.. sorry didn't want to make this awkward." I said trying to smooth out the situation.

"Well, don't apologize because I did do those horrible things and believe it or not I truly regret it. That's why I'm doing all these things just to get closer to you and for you to finally forgive me. " He said and then I looked at him.

"So you're just guilty?" I asked him.

"Honestly... Partly I am guilty..." he trailed off and I stayed silent. Well at-least he was honest even though it kinda stings. Then he suddenly stopped the car in the side of the road.

"Uhmmmm... if you're gonna kill me this is a very lake way to do it." I commented.

"No I was just gonna say something important and I want your whole attention." He said as he removed his seatbelt and looked into me.

"You got it." I said as I looked at him too. The eye contact was intense just describing it.

"Here it is... I like you." He said and then closed his eyes like a kid waiting for a surprise.

"No." I said and then he opened his eyes.

"What?" He asked me in surprise.

"you're just confusing guilt with likeness" I said sadly.

"I'm not. I do like you. I thought I was just sad that my friend turned out to be another person but in reality I liked Winnie. And even if it turned out to be you, it didn't matter. I was just clouded by the view of my parents and the society itself. Not to make another excuse but it's true. I like you. I've always liked you. And losing you was the most confusing thing I have ever dealt in my life." He said and then looked at me.

"Gyu.. if what you're saying is even true, I can't just force myself to like you back again. I've been through a lot and I have never let myself get hurt like I did when you rejected me." I said honestly. I was touched by his sudden confession but I don't wanna go down being hurt again.

"I know... I understand you feel that way now. And I regret doing that to you. I just want to know if there is some likeness of me left in you?" He asked and it felt like a cry for a little ounce of hope.

"I don't know." I said honestly.

"Then let's start over? I will try to win you back... one step at a time. I know it's selfish to ask for a chance but can you? Can you give me a chance to get you back?" He said and I looked at him.. he looked like he was so genuine with his request. My heart was already beating loudly but I'm afraid.

"Gyu. You told me your parents will never allow us. If there will even be an us." I said.

"I don't care Wonu, this time I wanna be myself. I wanna do what I wanted this time around and I want you." He said.

"Well then.. do what you want." I said.

"What? Really? I can?" He asked confused like a child.

"Let me just warn you. I can be very stubborn." I told him.

"I don't care. I like you just the way you are." He said and I cringed at what he just said.

"Never say things like that again. It creeps me out." I said and then he laughed and smiled.

"I'm sorry I'm just happy. Come on let's put on your seatbelt and have our very first physical date." He said and then I just smirked. Oh he's still just the nerd I used to like.

Kyeom's pov.

Woozi was tucked in their room by Hoshi and I didn't know what happened after. I hope they fix their problem because our vacation is at stake right now. Also I noticed Gyu and Wonu getting a little comfortable with each other. Maybe there's hope for them too.

"What are you thinking?" Joshi asked.

"Nothing really just our friends getting together... who knows? Maybe after this trip, only Dino will be single." I joke and He chuckles.

"We will be with Dino don't worry. At least in the other people's eyes." He said.

"Josh... are you still hung up about that? I like you. And you like me, even if we are secretly dating it's not really a big deal. Why can't it be just with us?" I asked him as I fix the bed.

"Sorry, didn't wanna make you mad." He said softly.

"I'm not mad.. Joshi look at me. Just trust me on this. Being lowkey about our relationship is very effective." I said as I cupped his face and gave him a kiss on the lips.

"Kissing me isn't changing my mind." He said but still smiled as I kissed him again.

"Come on... give me 10 reasons why being public is better." I said and he laughed.

"What?? Only 10 I could easily give you 20!" He bragged and I laughed. Then all of a sudden the door swung open.

"Ooppss sorry I probably had the wrong room..." a girl our age probably older though said as she held on the door knob.

"It's fine." I said and then Joshi looked back.

"Joshua! What a coincidence." She suddenly said as soon as she caught a glimpse of Joshi. Oh shi— is she the crazy ex? What luck we have. Just the time after Joshua warned us. Thanks so much universe.

"Uhmm..." Joshua said and then looked at me.

"Well don't act like you don't know me." She said and then actually entered the room.

"Actually... this is already trespassing." I said as she made her way infront of my boyfriend.

"Sorry.. you must have mistaken me for someone." Joshi tried to say and then she laughed like the crazy laugh of Janice from FRIENDS is what I could describe.

"Maybe you'll remember these—" she suddenly said and then unbuttoned one of the buttons in her shirt and shake her boobs side to side like an idiot. My blood boiled at the sight and went in front of Joshi who is having trouble concentrating where to look. I'm gonna smack him later for that.

"Uhm excuse me.. you can just leave." I told her sternly.

"Ugh... who even the hell are you?" She asked in the most annoying way ever and I was sure I was ready to punch a girl.

"I'm the one who's gonna kick your ass if you continue to seduce my BOYFRIEND." I said and I could see Joshi smile in my periphery.

"Boyfriend?!? Joshua's straight. He can't be gay. " She shrieks. I'm sure the whole hotel heard her.

"Yes so I suggest you march your way out and never disturb us again." I said and then she literally pushed me out the way.

"Everything alright? We heard a shriek" mingyu and Wonu were probably going back to their room with Dino when Mingyu interrupted the part where I was gonna choke this girl to death for pushing me.

"Oh this homophobic woman just happened to get lost in our room." I said while shooting daggers at her. Seriously Joshua undersold her. If Crazy has a God she is the right hand.

"I am not! I just wanted to talk to my boyfriend Joshua." She said and then Wonu looked at me.

"You're two-timing my friend?!?" Wonu asked Joshua completely ignoring the crazy lady.

"No! I would never. She's just crazy." Joshi said in defense. I really appreciate Wonu's concern adn I would probably laugh if this is not the situation.

"Alright then maybe you should leave." Wonu said as she pointed to the door.

"Maybe you should just mind your own business." She said to Wonu and pushed him too as she did to me earlier. Mingyu caught Wonu and he was about to pounce on her when Mingyu held him back.

"Maybe we should all relax." Mingyu said as he placed his big body between us three and the crazy girl.

"Uhmmm if you just let me talk to Joshua I'll be fine." She said as she crossed her arms. I was fine when he said that but then she added something.

"If this rainbow pony just step out for one little minute please." She said as she smirked at me.

"Oh.. so you wanna fight huh???" I said as I tried to punch her but Joshua and Wonu was stopping me as Mingyu stopped the crazy bitch.

"Why are you being so possessive right now?!?! You guys aren't even officially dating." She suddenly said and I looked at her in the strangest stare ever. Is she deaf or just really crazy??

"I just told you we were both dating and  you say those stupid things?!?" I said.

"Oh!!!? Does his mother know you? Because she damn well knows me." She suddenly said and I realized that she knows Joshua's crazy step mom and Joshua didn't even bothered to give us a heads up.

"What's that got to do with us dating?" I deflected.

"Oh. You seem hurt." She taunted me and I swear I was about to flick her head when all of a sudden Hoshi entered the room and grab her hair .. or should I say extensions!

"Ow!" She exclaimed.

"Oops I must have slipped." He said as he held on to her fake hair and smirked at her. Alright best bff ever.

"You all are weirdos!. You know what?!? If you don't want me going near him better watch your gay back!" She suddenly said and stormed out the room.

"The hell was her problem l?!?" Hoshi asked.

"She's one of his exes." I said defeated and tired from almost choking here emphasis on almost.

"NO WAY!" Hoshi and Mingyu exclaimed.

"Yes way and as you guys noticed she's crazy." I said.

"You never told me about her." Mingyu said to Joshi. Oh this is tricky because they actually are close.

"She was just a fling before.. you know" Joshi acted sad. Oh he's good. But I'm still mad at this guy not even fighting back.

"Oh. My bad dude." Mingyu said.

"Joshua. This is so not you." Hoshi said and I looked at him.

"Exactly what I said when I found out." I said to him.

"Well. Don't mind her so much. She's one crazy girl. Anyways.. we still owe Dino one movie time together so we need to go." Mingyu said excitedly trying to run away.

"I think Kyeom needs a friend?" Wonu asked me then I pulled him aside as they were talkingz.

"Are you making me an excuse to get away from Mingyu?!?" I asked him.

"He totally is." Hoshi whispered.

"Stop running away and just enjoy him being clingy. You like him first." I said and winked. Then wonu looked at me.

"Liked* He's too annoying. Always needs and wants to be near me I'm suffocated. Even confessed earlier so clingy. Ugh" He said and I just chuckled. Then I realized what he said.

"HE WHAT?!?" both Hoshi and I shouted.

"Story for next time look." wonu said as he pointed at Drunk Woozi wondering the hall. Hoshi immediately ran and left us in the room.

"You tell us when I get back! Damn it Woozi! I told you to sleep!" He shouted and ran away.

"You are one hell of a guy to understand. First you like him when he doesn't like you. Now that he apparently likes you, you now don't like him. Weirdo." I said as I tapped Wonu's back.

"You're one to talk. How's Joshi by the way?" Wonu said to me and I just glared at him.

"Wons let's go." Mingyu suddenly said and then He nodded just walked back to their room. Wonu's a little crazy too.

"Kyeom... to be honest I'm a little scared of that girl." Joshua suddenly said and I looked at him with a disgusted face.

"Afraid my ass. You can't even stop staring at her boobs." I said. Petty but I said what I saw.

"That's not fair. She opened them in-front of me without warning." He said as he tried to hug me from the back and I just turned him away.

"And closing your eyes was that hard?" I snapped back and then I heard him chuckle.

"You look cute when jealous." He said and I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'm not. Shut up or sleep on the floor." I said and then he acted zipping his mouth shut and just sat on the bed.

She's going to be a reaal problem.
