Dex

"Well, chances are if Dex is alive then Sophie is too" A deep voice claimes, Sophie, her name waking me as my eyes flutter and my consciousness is pulled to the surface and the room starts coming into focus.

My eyes opened to a man holding a bottle to my lips "Drink up Dex '' but I don't part my lips, I sit up and look around at a room filled with so many people it makes my head hurt. The man offers me the bottle again "Come on Dex please drink this it will help"

I hesitantly take a sip of the cold liquid and he was right it cleared my head and made me feel less overwhelmed in an instant. Next thing I know I'm being crushed into a hug by an unfamiliar woman, crying. I push her away

"Who are you?" I ask loudly before the room falls silent. A man who looks almost the same as me but an adult walks up "Are you feeling Ok Dex?" I shake my head curling myself in a ball under the covers This is too much I can't do this my brain yells at me, pulling my head in between my knees. The man with a deep voice cleared his throat.

"I think you guys should go, I'm sure he'll come around. '' Before whispering to someone he called Kesler to get a telepath. As I hear the door open I remembered what Alvar had told me.

Quickly I sit up in my bed screaming "WAIT!" and the lady crying turned around, but no one else stopped until I blurted out "You have to save Sophie!" Everyone immediately stopped and turned around. A boy pushed to the front of the crowd, the one I believe to be fitz.

"What do you mean to save?" he asks fear filling his eyes

It took me a second to gather my thoughts and say the words

"We were kidnapped... i think" Many of the people gasped, and Fitz asked me to explain

"I think they washed our memories, made us believe things that aren't true" I screwed up my face in thought why would they make Sophie train and not me...
