CHAPTER 3

You had now been at the school for a little bit more than a week. The only things you've really been doing was getting settled in, hanging out with your friends, and going to most of your classes. You couldn't stop thinking about what happened with Draco in the library..and you didn't really want to tell anyone about it so you kept it to yourself hoping that he didn't tell anyone about it either. You could tell that Draco had been avoiding you since what happened. You didn't really mind but you were kind of curious of why he would be ignoring you for the littlest things. You walked into the great hall with Ron and Harry, Hermione was in the library studying her life away. You went to go sit down at the Gryffindor table with your two friends. You looked over and got a glimpse of the slytherin table and saw Draco talking with Pansy...you couldn't seem to wonder why you felt a bit mad that she was talking to him. "Could it be jealousy?" you wondered to yourself, "No it couldn't be..you didn't have feelings for Draco.. or did you?" You couldn't help but keep starring over to where they were sitting at. You looked for a few more minutes and Draco ended up locking eyes with you once again, you quickly turned away and faced to Harry and Ron biting the inside of your cheek to conceal your anger. Draco smirked knowing that you were somewhat mad, he put his arm around Pansy's shoulder hoping you would look back at him and see what he was doing. You ended up doing exactly what he wanted and looked back that way. You got filled with anger and got up from your seat pushing the table as you were doing it. Ron and Harry both looked up from eating and furrowed their eyebrows as they watched you storm out of the great hall and into one of the hallway. Ron looked at Harry confused with wide eyes and they both shrugged it off and thought you were just having "girl issues". You ran to the Gryffindor common room and went straight to your dorm.  You walked in and saw your dorm mate, Ginny, sitting on her bed reading something. She looked up and saw you sit down on your bed with your arms crossed. "Y/N.. what's wrong? Did something happen or someone hurt you?" she asked concerned. You looked up at her and your face was turning red with anger but your eyes started welling up with tears, "I t-think i might be jealous.." She looked at you wide eyed and said, "Really?? You're jealous... over who?". A tear rolled down your cheek as you looked her straight in the eyes and said, "D-draco.." She dropped the book she was reading whilst loosing the page she was on in the process of doing so. "Draco as in Draco Malfoy...prince of slytherin house? as I like to call him..." You looked back down and nodded your head slowly in agreement.  You got up and walked to the shared bathroom as Ginny followed you. She kept asking what happened and why you were jealous. You told her everything that had happened and she felt bad for you, yet she didn't know why he was doing this..you had an idea of why you probably knew why...he was probably trying to get back at you after what you did. You didn't bother telling Ginny right at that moment when you were in the bathroom with her cleaning the dried mascara running down your face. When you both started walking back to the dorm that's when you decided to tell her what you did to him about a week before. She turned to you shocked as ever and said, "Y/N.. i didn't know that you did that.. that's very bold of you for you to do especially in front of him, knowing that he has shagged almost all of the slytherin girls." You looked back at her with the thought of him being with other girls and almost started to cry just thinking about it, but you held your tears back before you would have to go back into the restroom. "Yeah i know.." you said, "but it isn't my fault that he somehow got more attractive since i last saw him in first and second year..." You both made it to your room and started getting ready to go to sleep so you could wake up to get ready for school the next morning. You started thinking about how you might try and get back at him for what he did today and do your makeup, hair, and pick out a cute outfit that will catch Draco's attention since tomorrow was going to be a weekend so you could wear whatever you wanted too. You ended up falling asleep thinking of everything you had on your mind.
