Chapter 2
08:27, 26 September 2015"We're finally here!" Momoi sighed in relief, trying to get the water out of her long pink hair.
"May we please occupy 4 rooms with twin beds?" Akashi negotiated with the desk clerk.
"I'm sorry sir, there are currently only 3 rooms with twin beds, but there is another one available with only one bed. Is that alright?" the desk clerk replied.
Akashi sighed, looking at the small group who were playfully arguing with each other already. So immature, he thought.
"I guess that's fine," Akashi decided, turning to the clerk.
"Okay, here are your room cards. The room numbers are on the cards and you guys will all be on the 6th floor."
Akashi paid and took the cards, then turned to the squabbling group.
He closed his eyes momentarily, composing himself and switching his personality over.
I'm sorry your time didn't last long.
It's fine. We'll destroy them next time.
When his eyes opened, they were both red again.
Akashi walked over the group.
"Hey ya guys! Akashi has something to say!" Aomine yelled at them.
"Where's Coach and the others?!" Kagami suddenly realized.
"They have gone on to another hotel in the area," Akashi looked at him. "But, their situation has nothing to do with us. We have a bit of a problem here," he paused dramatically. "There are eight of us here. We have 4 rooms, but there is one room with only one bed-"
"That's the one for me!" Aomine interrupted. "The only one with their own room is me!"
"Hey! That's so unfair, Aominecchi! I worked so hard in today's game, I should have it!"
"Ehh? I worked hard too! I should get that room! I'll crush all of you!"
"Quiet!" Akashi felt a headache coming on. "If you guys were better at math you would know that there are four rooms, again, and eight of us. Therefore, no one gets their own room. Two of us have to share a bed in that room."
There was silence for a few seconds.
"Omg! That means I can totally share a room with Kurokocchi!" Kise burst out delightedly.
"Akashi-kun, I do not wish to share a bed with Kise-kun," Kuroko commented.
"Wahhh! So mean, Kurokocchi! I thought you cared about me!"
"Silence!" Akashi felt his headache getting worse. "Does anyone want the room with one bed?"
"Psshh. I'm not sleeping with Kise, that annoying idiot," Aomine said.
"I'll pass," Midorima said, pushing up his glasses.
"No way I'm with Kise," Kagami said.
"I want my own bed," Murasakibara pouted.
"It'll be weird if I were with Ki-chan," Momoi pointed out bashfully.
They all felt very guilty when Kise wilted. After all, he did contribute basically the most during the short game.
"Fine. I'll share a room with Kise," Akashi finally decided, already regretting it. "You guys can sort out who's in the other rooms on your own."
Kise immediately brightened up and threw his arms around Akashi, whose headache was killing him at the moment. Everyone felt even guiltier and very sorry for Akashi, even though they didn't say anything. It seemed like nothing could make Kise sad.
"C'mon, let's go already! I'm tired!" Kagami was already at the elevators. The rest of the group went over.

"Hey~ Akashicchi! Do you want the right side of the bed or the left side?" Kise called to the redhead, who was fixing his damp hair.
"It doesn't matter, Kise. It's all the same," Akashi snapped at the too-happy blonde.
"But Akashicchi~ it does! The right side is closer to the window and the left side-"
"Kise, I'm a bit tired. I don't really care, okay?" Akashi impatiently interrupted.
Kise seemed stumped for a while, as he sat on the bed pouting.
"Kise," Akashi called to him after several seconds of silence.
"Yes?!" Kise sprang to attention, eagerly awaiting Akashi's words.
"Please change out of that uniform. You're getting the bed wet. And no, please do not change in front of me. Go to the bathroom," Akashi scolded him.
Kise left to the bathroom, feeling shunned.
