10 - couples only promotion

"it's just the two of us" Mark muttered.

His face leaned in for a kiss but was quickly disturbed by the growling of Jieun's stomach.

He halted his moves and perked up. Burst out laughing.

Jieun was embarrassed. She wanted to disappear right there right now, immediately. Her face was a hundred shades redder than before. She just wanted to evaporate at this point.

And since their bodies were already tied together, out of instinct, Jieun automatically just buried her face in Mark's chest out of embarrassment.

Hiding her face and not wanting to get teased by Mark. Having to done the deed so many times, their skinship was no surprise to Mark.

But still, her actions made Mark chuckle. He finds it cute when she did that.

"Stop laughing!" Jieun pushed away, her body feeling the sudden coldness after freeing herself from his embrace.

Her face was still as red as ever.

"You look like a tomato!" He teased, "You could have just said you were hungry" Mark continued to laugh. His laugh that was easily recognizable.

"come on, let's get that tummy filled up" He said and took her hand so casually, leading the way out.

Jieun was still red though.

The two end up in a restaurant nearby the gallery.

"What do you feel like having?" Mark asked as the two took a look at the menu.

It was a k-bbq restaurant. There were tons of meat of choice, side dish and drinks.

"Hmm... let's just do a mega set for 2" Jieun suggested looking at the menu.

Mark nodded and called for the waiter.

"Hello there! may I take your order?" The waiter came with a warming smile.

"Yea can we have this mega set for 2?" Mark said and the waiter memorised it without having to write it down.

"That's all!" Jieun smiled,

"Not to be nosy but you two seem like a lovely couple!" The waiter complimented them with a big smile. Mark was about to correct him but the waiter beat him to it,

"Also! we are currently having a couples-only promotion!" He introduced, "we will be giving you a 50% off from your total bill! all you need to do is take a photo of you and your partner kissing on the lips with our food in the picture!"

Mark was so confused as he looked over to Jieun. Unlike Mark, Jieun was paying very much attention to the waiter about the 'couple promotion'. Even though they weren't.

The waiter then continued, "after that, you can post it to your Instagram and tag us! and when you are paying for the bill, all you need to do is show us the proof and we will automatically give you a 50% off" He explained and left to the kitchen.

"Why didn't you correct him?" Mark knitted his brows.

"Are you kidding me? dude 50% is A LOT!" Jieun scoffed at his behaviour. "And besides, it's not the first time we've kissed"

"Still..." Mark said, his tone uneasy.

"Why are you shy?" Jieun wiggled her brows, teasing him.

"But you have to post it on your Instagram though, wouldn't that just confirm the rumours that we're dating? not to mention you have like 20k followers" Mark commented.

"they're just rumours. We can always 'break up' right after. Plus it's not the first time I've gotten rumours like these. I've had them way worst" Jieun said ever so casually.

"AND, who said we're posting it on my Instagram?" she grinned evilly, Mark immediately knew what she meant.

"on my Instagram?" Mark muttered, hands on the back of his neck.

Jieun had a plan, and she wanted to try it out.

"Why is there something wrong?" The girl asked playing along. "no but..." Mark muttered.

Jieun felt her heart sank. So it was true he does miss her.

Or maybe he was just shy and Jieun was overthinking everything. But whatever the reason it is, she's not gonna back down just because he's shy or misses some exes of his.

She'll do anything for that 50% discount. Remind you, she's an art student and having to buy new art supplies every month is not cheap. Not to mention, 50% is a lot and she's definitely not gonna let that chance slip.

"Come on, think of it as some sort of a PR stunt! Your 'admirers' and my 'fans' will talk about it and then both of us will be the talk of the town!" Jieun explained

"that's all you care about huh?" He snickered at her comments, to which Jieun just rolled her eyes.

"We're both college students, we have tuition fees to pay, and I'm broke af I need that 50% off" Jieun begged.

"...fine" Mark was speechless but gave in anyway.

"you're the best!" Jieun cheered as she did her little dance which made the male laugh out loud cause he finds it cute.

Just in time, the waiter arrived with their order, "Mega set for 2," He said and set the table for them before leaving, "Enjoy your meal~"

"Okay come on let's get the pic so we can eat it" Jieun said and scooted over next to Mark.

"How are we gonna take it?" Mark asked, "Self time!" the girl smiled proudly, an expert in taking pictures with no one's help, after all, she is a so-called 'Instagram influencer'.

Jieun placed her phone vertically leaning against the glass cup. "You ready?" Jieun said as she set the timer to 3s.

Mark was shy, for whatever reason it was. The boy felt his heart skip multiple beats. His face was heating up. He didn't know why his body was acting this way.

Surely it wasn't because of the sudden body contact with the girl. I meant they have had sex so many times. Kissing, touching and seeing each other completely naked, was nothing new.

But here he was, nervous and somehow he couldn't brush off these feelings.

"y-yeaa..." He stuttered. Jieun chuckled at his reaction.

Too endorsed in the closeness of their bodies he didn't even notice Jieun leaning in for the kiss.

The girl leaned in and placed her hands on his cheek, gently pulling him in for a kiss. Her fingers cold from the weather. He felt his insides tingle at the sudden contact.

This time unlike their usual, the kiss was soft and gentle.

Without a doubt, they have kissed many times, but all the while it was always rough and aggressive. This was the first time they have kissed ever so gently.

It wasn't like their usual rough kiss where the two would fight to eat each other's lips up. Maybe because they weren't having sex, or maybe because it was merely just for the purpose of a picture so that they can get that couples promotion.

For whatever reason it was, Mark like it. He like that it was soft. Which made him want more. The kiss was soft and slow, gentle and smooth.

Her lips were moist and velvety. Just everything Mark had dreamed of her. Her flavoured lip tint that has now left a taint on him.

Out of curiosity, Mark stuck his tongue out to lick his lips.

She tastes like cherry.

Too soon and too quickly Jieun had already pulled away and went back to her seat, now facing him.

His body was met with the sudden coldness of the air. The absence of her presence. it was winter after all.

"We got it! But dude you look funny!" Jieun laughed as she showed Mark the photo.

"do you wanna do it again?" Mark smirked not even bothering to check the photo. His eyes were still on hers. Her lips specifically.

"no thanks I'm hungry" Jieun rejected her offer. Without wasting any time Jieun dived right into the mega bbq set that they had ordered.

"you should post it on your insta, so that we can have proof" The girl said as he looked over to Mark.

"Alright" Mark nodded and took out his phone. "what should I put as the caption?" He asked the girl,

"mhmm, maybe something like she's so cute!" Jieun complimented herself and Mark shook his head. "Whatever, we just need the pic" Jieun said still eating.

"fine" He said and went with the most basic caption.

"told you we'd be talk of the town" Jieun laughed. "wait let me go comment real quick, so it's more convincing" She smiled.
