Colby

I wiped the blood off my nose as I stood off the cold ground, Sam sat up groaning while holding his head. His face bruise and swollen his black eye and possibly broken nose stood out the most to me.

"Jesus christ did they finally leave?" He asked standing up leaning up on the wall

I slightly nodded.

"Fucking hell Colby have you seen your face?" He asked

I shook my head but soon regretted it when the pain started up again.

"You got a bruise the size of my fist on your jaw, and your fucking eye." He said

I didn't care about that I cared about Nellie, I'm worried about her I haven't heard anything since I blacked out then woke up just now. I walked to the door surprised that they left it unlock, I motioned Sam to follow me as I started walking out of the room and down the hallway.

Banging was heard on the door.

"Let me out! I want to see Colby!" Nellie's voice yelled

I tried twisting the lock but it was locked and her yelling stopped, I looked behind me at Sam. Before we went downstairs slowly looking for some sort of key to unlock the door.

"Get rid of their body's." Someone said

"They still have a palse." Brennen's voice sounded

"Don't care bosses orders and I would do it before you both are killed and thrown into that lake." The guy said

Brennen sighed "Let's go Jake."

Me and Sam ran back up the stairs in a room where the door was wide opened, we hid as they passed going all the way down where we were before. We got up and walked back downstairs and into the kitchen where no body was.

"Where the hell would the key be?" Sam whispered

Yelling was heard outside "I don't know if my father isn't here then Brennen or Jake must have it."

Screaming echoed through the house knowing it was Nellie.

"Where the hell are they?!"

"I don't know, I just want to go home!"

"Stop lying!"

By then we were upstairs and by the room where the yelling was coming from seeing Brennen on top of Nellie as she was trying to fight him off.

"Get the hell off her!" I yelled

Brennen looked behind me and got off of her standing next to Jake.

"Surprised you two aren't dead." Jake said

"You didn't punch hard enough." Sam said

I tried walking towards Nellie who clearly needed some type of comfort but Brennen pushed me back shaking his head slightly.

"Not so fast Brock." He said "She may be your little girlfriend but you aren't going anywhere near her."

"And who's going to stop me?" I asked before punching him in the nose hearing a loud crack

Jake looked at me before kneeling down at Brennen who was holding his nose while complaining. I walked over to Nellie with my arms opened and she crawled into them sobbing her little heart out.

"Did he hurt you?" I asked

She shook her head gripping onto me tighter. I helped her stand up walking back over to Sam.

"Let's find a way out of here." I said

We walked out going down the stairs as we looked in the kitchen and living room seeing nobody as more yelling was heard out. Sam looked in the front shaking his head disapointly.

"No way we'll escape out front." He said

"What about the back door with all the woods? Is anyone over there?" I asked

He looked out the window before looking at me "Let's go out here and run through the woods till we find a road or something."

I nodded "Let's go Nellie."

We quietly but quickly opened door before walking out and into the dark woods. This was going to be hard without any flashlights and we don't even know where the hell we are.
