Paedyn

Kai's fingertips trail down my skin, leaving a trail of fire in their wake despite the cold rain splattering our skin. 

"Kai..." My voice trails off as his fingers reach in between my thighs, my words turning into breathy gasps. 

His fingers slowly tease their way in between the skin, slowly gathering the slick moisture as he rubs my clit. My body tenses as soon as he slips a finger into me. 

Kai

Her body contracts around my fingers. 

I slide another finger in, curling them slightly to hit that sweet spot inside her. Her back arches, pressing her breasts against my chest as she lets out a soft moan. 

"Kai," she gasps again, her voice hoarse with desire. "Don't stop." 

I have no intention of stopping. I pick up the pace, my fingers moving in and out of her with ease thanks to her arousal. Her breaths come in short gasps, her nails digging into my back as she holds on for dear life.

I can feel her getting close, her body tensing around me. I lean down, capturing her mouth with mine, swallowing her cries as she comes undone around me. Her orgasm ripples through her.

As her body relaxes, I slow my fingers, giving her a chance to come down from her high. I pull her close, our bodies still pressed together, our breaths mingling in the cool air.

I watch as Kai undoes his pants, my heart pounding in my chest with a mix of anticipation and nervousness. He kicks them off, along with his boxers, and I get my first clear look at him, hard and ready. I swallow hard, my mouth suddenly dry.

Kai notices my gaze and smirks, a playful glint in his eye. "Like what you see?" he teases, his voice low and husky.

He steps closer, his body pressing against mine, and I can feel his hardness against my stomach. He leans down, capturing my mouth in a deep, passionate kiss. 

Kai's hands roam my body, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake. He lifts me effortlessly, and I wrap my legs around his waist, feeling him at my entrance. I take a deep breath, my body tensing slightly as I prepare for the sensation.

"Relax," Kai murmurs against my lips, his voice soothing. "I've got you."

I nod, taking a deep breath, and he begins to enter me slowly. I can feel every inch of him. My breath hitches as pain makes an entrance as he pushes in. Kai pauses. 

"Are you okay? We can stop if you'd like."

 I look into his eyes and take a deep breath, steadying myself, and shake my head. "No, I want this," I whisper. "I want you. Just go slow."

He starts to move again, slowly and gently, allowing my body to adjust to his. The pain eases slightly, replaced by a growing sensation of pleasure. 

"Kai," I gasp, my voice hoarse with desire. "It's starting to feel good."

He smirks, a look of satisfaction on his face. "That's my girl," he murmurs, his voice husky. "Just let go and feel."

Kai 

I start to pick up the pace, my hips moving in a rhythm that has Paedyn's breath hitching and her nails digging into my shoulders. 

The rain continues to fall, mixing with our sweat and creating a slick, heated mess between us. 

 I can feel her body tightening around me, her inner muscles clenching as she chases her release.

I lean down, capturing one of her nipples in my mouth, sucking and biting gently, adding to the sensation overload.

"Kai!" she cries out, her body convulsing as she comes undone around me. 

Her orgasm triggers my own, and I thrust deeply, holding her tightly against me as I find my release.

Paedyn

His forehead rests against mine, damp curls clinging to his brow. I feel his chest rising and falling, his heartbeat thudding against mine.

He brushes a strand of wet hair from my face. 

"You okay?" he murmurs, his voice rough.

I nod, unable to do much else, still catching my breath. "More than okay."

His lips curve in a slow, gentle smile. He withdraws carefully, and I wince at the sensitivity. His expression immediately softens with concern, his fingers ghosting along my thighs.

"Sorry," he whispers.

"You don't have to be," I say, brushing my knuckles along his jaw. "Just... maybe don't touch me there for a minute."

He lets out a rich laugh that sends a hot flush back to my face in spite of the rain. 

Kai

I wrap my arms around her again, pulling her close against my chest. We sit there in the grass, under the rain and the night sky, in the aftermath of everything.

"You are forever my undoing, Paedyn Gray," I murmur into her hair. I stare up at the starry night sky, now clear from rain clouds beneath the swaying cover of the willow tree. My heart twists at the reminder as to why we are hiding underneath the tree. "Know that I will wait for you until the day I grow old, I will not die without knowing that you fully are mine." 

Paedyn

A lump rises in my throat at his words.

My fingers curl into his damp skin, anchoring myself to this moment—this impossible, beautiful moment that shouldn't exist, and yet does.

"You already have me," I whisper.

He exhales slowly.

Not all the way. The only thing preventing him from me is his own blood. He may kick down doors when I have nightmares, but his brother is a whole different story.

Kai

I close my eyes, holding her tighter, as if I can trap time between our bodies and make it stay.

If this is all we're allowed—this night, this promise—then I will etch it into my bones. I will live in it until she returns.

Because this is worth it. She is worth my life and more.
