A Very Special Birthday Pt. 1
08:42, 18 February 2025July 237:00 a.m.
———Sakura woke up early to prepare for Sasuke's birthday. She made his favorite food, she got him a birthday card, she put his gifts in boxes with bows on them, and she even put on some lip gloss.
When she felt like everything was ready, she went to go wake Sasuke up. Sakura kneeled beside the and poked him continuously until he opened his eyes. "Wake up, Sasuke." she whispered.
Sasuke's eyes were still half closed as he turned to look at Sakura. The first thing he noticed was that she was wearing the hair clip that he'd given her months ago. Then he noticed that she was wearing lip gloss. Sasuke stared at her, waiting for her to say something.
Even though the tired look on his face didn't change, Sakura could tell that he was a bit confused. "Happy birthday, Sasuke!" she giggled quietly.
"Thanks..." he muttered before sitting up. When he sat up, he saw that there was a blanket on the floor. On top of it were two boxes, a card, some papers, food, and drinks.
Sakura stood up and helped Sasuke out of bed excitedly. "Go get dressed and everything so that we can celebrate." she said happily.
It was just like Sakura to go all out for him. He was hoping that she would keep things simple...which she did for most people's standards but not for Sasuke's. Regardless, he appreciated her efforts and was grateful for her.
Sasuke did as she said and got ready in the bathroom. When he returned, Sakura was sitting on the blanket waiting for him. He sat beside her quietly.
"After we eat, we can look at your presents." Sakura said sweetly. It made her really happy to be doing something like this for Sasuke.
Sasuke nodded before they began to eat. Seeing how happy and excited Sakura was made it impossible for Sasuke to not be happy as well. To him, there was nothing cuter than an excited Sakura....
After finishing their food and cleaning up, Sakura was ready to show Sasuke his gifts. "So this letter is from Kakashi-Sensei." she said as she handed him the letter.
The letter read:"Happy birthday, Sasuke. I'm glad that you're finally finding some peace in your life. You deserve it.
-Your favorite sensei"
Although Kakashi's letter was simple, it meant a lot to Sasuke that he'd gotten a letter from Kakashi. He put the letter down beside him and looked at Sasuke.
"This one is from Naruto." Sakura handed Sasuke the letter.
The letter read:"I can't believe it's your birthday already! It'd be so cool to celebrate it with you and the team. But I'm sure you and Sakura will have a good time together haha! And you better treat her right!!! But anyways, happy birthday. Come and stop by the village soon, alright?
From the next Hokage!!!"
Something about Naruto's letter felt so idiotic that Sasuke couldn't help but chuckle and shake his head. "Did you ask them to send me letters?" he asked as he returned to looking at Sakura.
"For Kakashi, yes. But Naruto was the one who suggested sending letters." she said before grabbing her card. "But now it's time for the things that I got you!"
Sasuke grinned and to the card from her. It was very obvious that Sakura had picked it out; it was very pink and had floral patterns on it. When he opened it, he found the team picture that they'd taken before leaving the village. His grin slowly grew into a warm smile.
Sakura smiled, knowing that he was smiling at the photo. "Kakashi had sent it a few weeks ago but I thought it would've been a good birthday gift so I hid the picture from you." she said.
"Thank you, Sakura." Sasuke said as he moved the picture to look at what Sakura wrote in the card. As he read it, his smile faded.
The card read:"To my one true love, I wish you a happy birthday. Today is the day that my soulmate was brought to earth. I will forever cherish this day even if you don't. You have people who care about you and love love you. We've all forgiven you for your past mistakes so make sure to forgive yourself. You deserve all of the happiness in the world no matter what you may think.
-Love, SakuraHappy birthday, Sasuke <3"
Sasuke's heart felt like it was about to explode. He stared at the card in silence for a moment as his eyes teared up.
Sakura looked at him, confused and worried. "Was it bad? Do you not like it?" she asked nervously.
For a few seconds, Sasuke remained silent and put the card down. "It was great." he said as he looked up to her with a shy grin. "You think too highly of me..."
"I don't." she said as she scooted closer to him and leaned against his arm, "You just think too little of yourself. That needs to change, Sasuke. If not for yourself, do it for me."
"Hn..." he said. He wasn't sure how'd he change how he felt about himself but he was determined to do so for Sakura.
"Are you ready for your gifts yet?" Sakura asked curiously.
Sasuke nodded his head. "Are they what you've been hiding from me?" he raised an eyebrow.
Sakura shook her head. "No, it's not. Not technically..." she said before looking up and thinking. After a moment of thinking, she looked back at Sasuke, "Well I've been hiding these but they weren't the thing that you wanted to see." she said as she handed him the smaller gift box.
Somehow, Sakura backtracking from her initial statement made Sasuke chuckled a little. "Well then what was it?" he asked as he took the box from her.
"You'll know it when you see it." she said a bit shyly before perking up again, excited for Sasuke to open his gift, "Open the box now!"
"Hn..." Sasuke wasn't sure why she seemed to be less enthusiastic about the other gift but he shrugged it off and opened the box. Inside, there were two shuriken that matched the kunai that she'd gotten him for his birthday two years ago: the edges of the blades were purple and the Uchiha clan's crest was engraved on both of them.
Before Sasuke could react to the gift, Sakura spoke: "I got these made for you at the same time I got the kunai made. But I wanted to give these to you in person so that it'd be more special." Sakura said sweetly.
Sasuke turned to Sakura and hugged her tight. "I'll keep them forever..." he said quietly. When Sakura hugged him back, he held her even tighter.
"Good...and you better not lose them; I spent a lot of money getting those made." she giggled. When they backed away from the hug, Sasuke was grinning. "What's that look for?" she asked curiously.
"I love you, Sakura." he said as he looked back over to the shuriken.
"I love you too~" she said before kissing his cheek, causing him to blush a little. Sakura then took the bigger gift box and put it in front of him. "Now open this one. Then we can play a game before I give you your final gift."
Sasuke looked at her curiously before opening the box. He didn't expect her to gift him this. It was the sword he'd been using for the past few years.
"I noticed that the blade was pretty worn out and dirty so I took it somewhere to get it maintained." she said enthusiastically, "And I got them to add a stronger layer of metal to it to make it more durable...you know, since you probably wouldn't have done it yourself."
Having Sakura with him was a blessing in disguise. It's true that he probably wouldn't have gotten it maintained had she not done it for him. "I'm glad I took you with me..." he said quietly.
"Me too. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else but here with you, Sasuke..." she said as she leaned against him again.
Wanting to enjoy each other's presence, the two sat there quietly for a while, finding comfort in moment.
—July 2310:27 a.m.—
Knowing that she had other plans for them that day, Sakura moved away from Sasuke and grabbed two cups and a bottle of sake. "I think it's about time we play the game now." Sakura said mischievously.
"What's the game? And why do we need those?" Sasuke asked nervously.
"It's a game that Naruto came up with. Basically I ask you a question that you have to answer truthfully. But if you don't want to answer, you have to drink some sake." she said, "And vice versa."
Sasuke sighed at the idea of pretty much everything she said: the mention of Naruto, answering questions, and drinking. "Is that a good idea..?" he asked.
"Don't worry. If either one of us starts getting too drunk, then we'll stop. I promise." she said as she poured the sake into the cups.
"Ok..." Sasuke was still pretty worried despite what she said. "But I've never drank before..."
"That's alright. I'll be here for you if anything happens." she said with a warm smiled. "So...I'll ask the first question."
Sasuke's body tensed up as he anticipated the question. He had a feeling that most of her questions will be too much for him to handle.
Sakura took a few moments to think of her question before finding one. "Out of me, Ino, and the red haired girl with glasses...who would you marry, have sex with, and kill?" Sakura smirked mischievously.
Off the bat, she's already asking difficult questions. Sasuke had a disgusted look on his face, not happy with the options he'd given her. He glanced down at the sake and then back up to Sakura. Sasuke stared at her for a second before hesitantly reaching for the cup of sake.
Realizing that he was taking the easy way out, Sakura felt the need to stop him in his tracks. "But wait! You're not allowed to drink on the first question! I forgot to tell you that." she said nervously. This was a lie but she wanted to hear his answer. "Oh and same for the last question!"
Sasuke sighed as he moved his hand away from the cup of sake and looked to the side. Sasuke easily would marry Sakura but the other options were tough. He contemplated his options but cringed at the thought of having sex with either Ino or Karin. He sighed again before deciding on his final answer: "Marry you, sex with you, kill the other two."
Sakura stared at him in shock. "Your answer is a bit...extreme, don't you think..?" she asked nervously.
"Your question was extreme..." he said through gritted teeth.
"I-...yea, I guess you're right...my bad." she chuckled nervously. "Well you get to ask me a question now."
Sasuke nodded and looked Sakura in the eyes. He already had the perfect revenge. But he'd make it harder on Sakura than she'd make it for him. "The same question you asked but your options are Naruto, Sai, and Kakashi." he said firmly.
Sakura looked at Sasuke like he was crazy. "Those are the grossest options you could've given me..." she whined.
"Answer the question, Sakura." he teased with a small smirk on his face.
"Ok ok!" she said before staring at the ground to think. She already knew who she'd most want to kill but the other two options weren't as easy to figure out. When she finally came up with an answer, she shyly looked up at Sasuke who was clearly enjoying seeing her struggle. She pouted a little before giving her answer: "Marry...Naruto...I think." she said, unsure of herself, "Sex with Kakashi...and kill Sai."
Sasuke raised an eyebrow at her. "Why marry Naruto?" he asked curiously.
"Cause if I marry him then I won't have to have sex with him. I wouldn't want him anywhere near me in that context." Sakura shivered at the thought of that.
"Makes sense..." Sasuke chuckled. He always liked that Sakura also couldn't stand Naruto...even if it were for different reasons than his.
"Ok, time for the game to actually start." Sakura said, trying to get her mind off of Naruto. "If you had to give me a nickname, what would it be?"
Sasuke stared at her and thought about it. He couldn't figure out a nickname for her no matter how hard he thought about it. He's never given a nickname to anything before so that made sense. But even if he could think of one, he'd probably be too embarrassed to say it out loud. Sasuke sighed as he reached for the cup of sake and drank it, at which he looked visibly repulsed by the taste of it.
Sakura laughed at him. "You'll get used to it, don't worry." she giggled. "Did you not want to answer or you couldn't think of one?" she asked.
"Couldn't think of one..." he said as he put the cup down. He started to hope that he'd get used to the taste soon if he'd have to do this the whole game. "Would you rather, travel with me forever or stay in Konoha with me?"
"I..." she started before thinking further. Both sounded enticing. She liked being alone with Sasuke and exploring the world with him. But she also wanted him to stay in the village with her; after all, they couldn't have and raise kids very easily if they're always traveling. With that in mind, Sakura drank.
Sasuke looked at her confused. He thought she would've said she wanted to stay in Konoha right away.
"I couldn't think of an answer either." she said shyly as she refilled their cups. "Hopefully the whole game won't be this way." she giggled.
"That's alright." he said sweetly, wanting to reassure Sakura....
For around an hour, Sasuke and Sakura played the game. Sasuke ended up drinking more than answering questions while Sakura answered questions more than drinking. But the more Sasuke drank, the more inclined he was to answer Sakura's questions which was a win for her.
"Sasuke...do you think I'm pretty?" she asked shyly. Sasuke has only ever complimented her appearance once through a letter and that was a while ago. Sakura wanted to know how he felt now.
Sasuke looked at Sakura, somewhat annoyed. He couldn't believe that she'd ask him this. "Of course I think you're pretty. You always have been. Always will be." he scoffed.
Sakura blushed and looked down as she started playing with her hair. "You really think so???" she asked excitedly.
"Yes. I've been all over the world but I've yet to see anyone look nearly as attractive as you." he said. "This is the third time you've asked this question. You better not ask me again." he sighed.
"Oh, it is? My bad...I didn't realize..." she said nervously. She may have been a little more drunk than she thought...or maybe just insecure. Or it could even be both. But she couldn't tell. Sakura looked up at Sasuke and smiled, "It's your turn to ask a question now."
Sasuke nodded. There was a question he'd wanted to ask her for a while, even before they got drunk. "If we had kids, how many would you want..?" he asked curiously.
Sakura's face turned bright red and she froze. She knew her answer but wasn't sure if she should tell him. After a long silence, she decided to drink instead of answer.
"Is it that many?" Sasuke chuckled. He already knew she would've drank to that question but he liked to tease her.
Sakura pouted and crossed her arms. "Well how many do you want?" she asked, somewhat upset by Sasuke's reaction to her drinking.
Without a second thought, Sasuke immediately drank as he too turned red. For some reason, he didn't think about the fact that she could turn the question back onto him. He looked away embarrassed.
Sakura laughed before moving next to him and tilting her head. "Is it that many?" she taunted.
"I don't know..." he said quietly.
That wasn't true and Sakura knew it. She really wanted to know how many he was thinking. Her smile softened as she took his hand. "I want four kids..." she said sincerely, "But I wouldn't mind having less or more."
Hearing Sakura's answer made Sasuke feel less nervous about saying his. He looked at Sakura for a second before looking away again. "I want seven. More or less is fine too..." he said shyly.
Sakura's eyes widened. She thought four was a lot, but seven?! As absurd as that was, the thought of trying to have kids with Sasuke started to turn her on. And suddenly, her shock turned into arousal. She leaned against Sasuke and held his hand tighter. "You really want seven, huh?" she asked.
Sasuke sighed. He's always wanted a lot of kids, preferably boys, so that he could rebuild his clan. But being with Sakura has made him care a little less about that and more about what he wants for the future of both himself and Sakura. "Yea...but I'd be happy with even one. I don't care about how many I have as long as I have them with you." he said firmly.
Sakura smiled and blushed. She felt the exact same way. "Do you want to start trying..?" she asked nervously.
Upon hearing this question, Sasuke turned to look at her and Sakura moved back a bit to do the same. "Right now?" he asked.
Sakura nodded her head and stood up. His hand still in Sakura's, Sasuke stood up with her. "Only if you want to..." she said softly.
Sasuke could feel goosebumps form all over his body as his heart raced. And before he knew it, something began to rise in his pants...———

{A/N: As you guys can tell, this chapter was really long. I'm honestly not sure how I managed to do that😭. P.S. The next chapter will most likely only be smut but it might have other stuff too.}
