Chapter 5

Spensa's PoV

We talked for a few minutes though it felt like hours. When we heard a knock on the door and Kimmalyn's said. "Time to get out you two." There was a smirk in his voice. We stood up and walked out. Everyone had curiosity in their eyes. But I ignored it and walked back to my seat. 

Sitting down and looking at Arturo I glared daggers. He got the hint and there was worry in his eyes. I would just have him worry about it all night then nothing would come. It was my way of making him feel what I had in the moment that he broke the rules. Or maybe I could make him pay drastically and then make it so that he has to do the same thing.

I grinned and grasped Jorgen's hand. He squeezed it making my stomach make tingly sensations prick at the edges. I would have to think about it. I looked around the circle and then landed on Rodge. I smirked at him and said. "Rodge would you rather ask FM out or destroy a ship." Rodge looked horrified and said his voice full of alarm. "Ask FM out." He was blushing so much I almost felt sorry for him but not quite enough to let him not do it. 

He looked over to were FM was sitting and trying to cover a blush and asked. "FM... will... will you go out with me on a date." He stumbled over his words and when he finally got it all out he looked her in the eye. FM finally said. "If you actually meant it then... yes." Rodge looked stunned but after a moment stuttered out an. "I-I did mean it... I just didn't expect you to say yes." The blush from his cheeks was subsiding and he was fiddling with his hands.

FM however looked like she was trying to force herself to say something. I opened my mouth to point out something when she finally said. " tomorrow night at Alta base park."

"S-see you th-then."

The whole room burst out cheering even Jorgen surprisingly. We had been trying for ages to get the two of them together. Out of nowhere Kimmalyn and Sadie started chanting. "Kiss, kiss, kiss." After a minute the whole room was chanting it and Rodge walked over, offered his hand to FM which she gladly took and he leaned over to kiss her. It was slow and mellow but for the two of them it was perfect. They broke apart after a moment but it had felt like an eternity even if the kiss hadn't been mine.

We started cheering again and we heard a knock on the door. I walked over and found one of the admirals staff who asked. "I heard shouting everything okay." He seamed concerned but curious at the same time. I said after a moments hesitation. "I was playing a game with my flight mates its nothing much." The answer didn't seem to be satisfactory enough for him but he finally nodded and walked away. I shut the door and walked back to my seat next to Jorgen.

We kept playing and after my last turn were I had to kiss another person in the room or kiss Jorgen for thirty seconds. I chose the latter. Then finally I turned to Arturo and said. "Arturo this is pay back." He got a worried look on his face but then nodded. "Would you rather dunk your head in the toilet and hold it there for a minute... or... do seven minutes in haven with..." I pretended to look around for someone  to pair with him. Then looked at him with an evil grin. We all knew that Arturo had had a major crush on Kimmalyn since is breakup with Bryn two months before. "With Kimmalyn." 

We also knew that Kimmalyn had been crushing on Arturo all the way back during the time of flight school. I smirked at both of them and they both went crimson red. Arturo muttered some curses then said allowed. "Well scud you really did give me payback Spin." Than he turned to Kimmalyn and asked. "Are you OK with this." Quirk blushed even more if that was possible and then gave a tiny almost imperceptible nod.

Arturo turned to me and said. "Then I choose the latter." I looked at him in shock for a second then said. "Well of you go then." I shoved the two of them of to the bathroom and said a bit louder. "The timer starts... now." The rest of the flight started talking about normal things when the timer went off. I walked back over to the bathroom and said. "Times up you two." I heard shuffling and then the door opened. Ned took one look at them and said in a joking way. "Hope you didn't stain anything."

I just turned my head in shock my mouth dropped. He just smirked. I just looked away studying the two of them. They both had slightly rumpled hair and their cloths were mildly crinkled. I couldn't help but laugh and say. "You guys didn't have to do anything at all you just had to do was be locked in the bathroom for seven minutes."

"Maybe they just couldn't help themselves." I looked for the source of the voice expecting it to be Nedd and was yet again surprised to see that it was Jorgen who had spoken. I looked at me and had a spark in his eye that seemed to say that he had done that just to shock everybody.

When I turned around I found the alarm going off and everybody was getting up quickly. I took one more look and ran after them. Kimmalyn and Arturo were smoothing their hair and flight suits while FM was standing up and stretching quickly. Both me and Jorgen started running down the hall I was about to turn into M-bots prep room when I realized that his ship was all the way back at Starsight. I quickly dashed to an extra ship bay and grabbed my helmet and strap into the unknown cockpit... and then I'm off.

A/N: How was that for an ending. Heh I got out a chapter... your welcome Skyward fans. Sorry about the lack of updates I had a writers block and then I got grounded for a few weeks and ya so... Fox out.
