Chapter 033

Well, there was something different that happen that day. After the ceremony something strange happen to my hair it had turned black.  I don't know why it could change but I'm not going to question it anymore. Hange had taken multiple samples and concluded it was because of my thought or more of something like that. Honesty I have a feeling it has something to do with mother.

Eren had changed since he had kissed her hand. I question what did he see. He didn't change much but I could tell.

I settle myself to my horse. Finally, we would go beyond the walls. We are a step closer to see the ocean. I put my hood on. It was going to be a long ride.

No titans had been seen at all. It was as Hange had stated prior. They had all moved into Wall Maria. The red smoke from back then.

It had been a while since I saw that flare. It was the titan from before. I attach myself to it.

I stood there.

"You were turned into this right"

I look to see the weeds overgrown him.

"You have been here a while. Haven't you."

I look to see Eren coming to me. He touches its forehead.

"We shouldn't kill it"

I don't agree with that. I slice his neck.

"Eren sometimes death is better than suffering. If we left it here. How much longer does he have to suffer. I'm sorry but I don't regret it"

"I agree with Violet"

"Me too"

"I'm always with Violet"

I look at them. Connie, Jean, and Sasha.

I smile at them.

I grab Eren by his shoulders.

"Don't you think the same? I feel like death is something he would look up to it."

I push him in the direction of his horse.

"We should go further."

I hop onto mine and kept going. My hands tighten on the reins of the horse. I still think death is favorable. Death helps us escape from reality. Since humanity is no longer the option here.

Hange had led us around the wall where the restorationists had been pushed off the wall. I stop and look at the wall. Is this where you left from father. I am not sure if you would know. But I am not your daughter. I will live for your daughter. I can change the future now. I will change the direction of the plot.

"Hurry Violet, don't stay behind."

"Sorry got zone out. Armin wait up"

I reach Armin. He spots a seashell.

I was amazed to see how clear the ocean was. I guess modern society ruins it. It was crystal clear. They all ran in. I didn't take off my boots.

It was something I didn't like.  Eren was with them.

"Violet look isn't it amazing. This is filled with salt. Merchants can spend their whole lives here and never run out of salt. To think we all made it out together"

I walk next to him and lean to the water. I made a cup with my hands. Water was filled. I place it over Armin's head. It wasn't much when released to his hair.

"You were right about the sea. It is truly beautiful. It was worth the wait. Thank you for giving me the courage to make it to the end."

I smiled.

"Violet thannnkk youuuu"

He hugs me. I fell down from the sudden impact. We were soaking wet.

"I used to think if we go beyond the walls we will be free."

I look up to see Eren's dull eyes.

"If we kill all our enemies over there. Will we finally have freedom. "

He pointed out in the shore.

I stood silently looking over. I touch his shoulder.

"We will soon have the freedom we want"

He turns over to face me.

"Violet will we have our freedom"

"We will together"

I splash weather onto him. We all started to play with the sea like little kids. I turn to where he had pointed.

Did mother live there?

I didn't think she did. I Want to be selfish as well. I want to live. Mikasa's words really stuck to me.

I said the word to myself. Did I finally win in this life? So many years passed by. But the plot is still in my head. Was I obsessed with the original plot?

Maybe I am. But who wouldn't be if they were in my case?

"VIOLLETT CARRRRY MEE"

I turn to see Sasha running over to me. I move to the other side and she fell straight to the water.

I held out my hand to her. I remember that day I met her.

"You made it this far, I'll do the rest."

Sasha Pov

This is fun. I turn to see Violet. What is she doing? Ha, I guess she dose off. She was looking at the distance.

I felt tired. Let's scare Violet for the fun of it.

I was about to jump on her but she moved in time. Next thing I know it. I was under the water.

"Eewww this taste awful"

Did Jean really drink this? It's so bad. I sat down and look up to see Violet.

It reminded me of the very first time that I met her. When I had to run and lost food privileges for that day. I look up to be met with her emotionless eyes.

The words that came out of her mouth truly surprise me that day.

"You made it this far, I'll do the rest."

She said the same words from back then. It all happened so fast. I was on Violet's back again. Her face was different from back then.

Violet shows a sincere smile. After all these three years. She had finally shown expression. That day  I told her to smile. I remember her interpretation of a smile.

From everything of that.

I jump off her back.

I put her hands and carried her on my back.

"No this time I Will do the rest. Do you really think I couldn't make it this far. Haha I survive and am living right now"

Violet isn't that heavy. I can do this.

I made it out of the water.

"Sasha maybe back then I thought you couldn't reach the end, but now you truly shown what you are capable of. We made it together"

"Ahh thank you Violet"

I hug her. We were both soaking wet. It felt nice to have a friend like her. Not just for bread or maybe.

End of Sasha pov

To think you fall asleep like this.

I had Sasha ride with me. But she fell asleep.

You really do remind me of her. I don't even remember my past life. Eva are you doing alright. I bet if you were here you would be enjoying yourself.

"Violet you should wake her up now"

"It's really okay Mikasa. It doesn't bother me. Am strong to handle her and the horse at the same time"

"I see. So how is it."

"What is."

"What do you mean"

"Eren"

"What about him"

She came closer next to my horse.

"Hmm he likes you"

I was started by her words. Didn't she have feelings for him?

"Mikasa don't you like Eren"

"Hmm no"

" you don't"

She looks straight ahead"

"He is family as well as you"

She ruffles my hair.

"I understand why"

She went ahead. I really thought she wait, didn't she? It really looks like she did have feelings for him.

"What got you distracted"

I turn to see Eren.

"Don't tell me did Mikasa truly bully you."

I look at him.

"She truly did"

I went ahead. He had a puzzled look on his face.
