A lot has happened in the last three years...

Me and Charlie did eventually get around to rearranging the cabin so that we were sharing a bedroom, after many weeks of procrastination. We decided to transform the spare room that was once my bedroom into a room for the dragonette's that I have to take home to care for.

Norberta and Rontu had a rather fiery break up, but he eventually moved on and found a new love, Marcus' family kneazle Lilac.

They now have five beautiful kittens, Nina, Nora, Nala, Nino and Norman- I only named Nora, the rest were at the mercy of the other imbeciles who thought it'd be funny if all their names started with N, And Rontu is a full time dad- though Nora did almost bite his ear off once.

Thorn is now head of his own herd and has became the mate of a beautiful blue tinted Hebridean Black, which has made me very excited for dragon grandkids in the future.

Thorn and Rontu aren't the only ones who settled down, on our two and a half year anniversary, Charlie proposed to me.

I was thoroughly confused as to why Charlie had requested we meet at the pond, it was our two and a half year anniversary but he had been acting as though he had completely forgotten about it.

He did his normal daily routine and didn't mention it even once.

I finally reached the pond and spotted Charlie standing, with his back facing me. A lot had changed since we had confessed to each other here, but the pond had stayed exactly the same, as beautiful as ever, lit up by hundreds of fireflies dancing across the surface of the water.

"Charlie?" I questioned, the sound of my voice causing him to turn around, the largest grin in history spread across his face.

He ushered me towards him and as I stood opposite him he held each of my hands in his own softly.

"Madison, the moment I saw you for the very first time will be stuck into my memory till the end of the days because it was the evening when the course of my life radically changed its direction, your smile retaining my attention for the whole night.

Keep me in your heart, but not in your mind, because I always want to stay with you, not want to be in your sweet memory. I love you the most in the world. I wanna marry you because you're the first person I wanna look at when I wake up in the morning and the only one I wanna kiss goodnight," tears had began to fill my eyes from the first sentence but they fell once Charlie released my hands and got down on one knee.

He held a ring box and once he opened it my hands moved to cover my mouth instantly as a sob of happiness escaped my lips.

It was a beautiful silver ring but the band was a dragon, wrapping around the diamond as if protecting it. I was enchanted by it.

"So, Maddie, Will you marry me?" I broke out into a grin as a half sob- half laugh filled the air.

"Of course I will, dragon boy," I smashed my lips onto his, allowing him to slip the ring onto my finger. As expected, it was a perfect fit.

Voldy was back, Charlie and I were in Romania helping the Order gain allies but you can only do so much when you're thousands of miles away.

We were terrified for our families, unable to contact them often with the fear of them being caught so after much discussion and the Ok from Kal, Charlie and I packed a bag and port key-d Several times to travel to the burrow.
