Chapter 14 - How it went down

27th August 2002 - Mike's POV:

I got a knock on my door, presuming it was Ruby I complained, "I told her to always come in without knocking, jeez she never listens" I thought in my head, I got excited to see her face by the door but it was Jess, my creepy stalker friend sort of who had crushed on me since high school. "Hey Mikey" She walked in without getting permission and sprawled herself down on the couch, I locked the door and sat beside her awkwardly, "So, what do you want? Why'dya come here?" I crossed my legs and was getting nervous, she liked to creepily make eye contact and stare. "For you of course hottie, I'm feeling more aroused than usual" She had no shame, seriously. "How would I help that?" I tried to act as if I didn't know what she meant, when in reality I knew all that would spill out her dirty lips. "Cause you are the hottest man I have ever laid eyes on, I could fuck you right here right now.." and she began to put her hand up into my shirt, feeling my stomach, "Looks like someone's been working out recently." Jess moved closer to me until I could not move anymore and she just kept awkwardly touching my stomach. I pushed her hand away, "I can't Jess. I just don't like you in that way" I was angry.

She stood and stared, "Oh I love it when you get angry Mikey, fuck me now!" She bit her lip, everything to the crop top she was wearing, to her stance, it made me a little turned on for some odd reason. I tried to stop myself but I couldn't, my feelings were taking over and my mind was overtaking my body. "I guess you are happy to see me huh" She smirked and looked towards my trousers, I had popped an awkward boner which I could not control. "No Jess don-" She rubbed my jeans right where my crotch was located and I lost full control. "I wanna tease you so badly.." She stood in front of me and stopped, "I'm glad I could come Mikey." "I didn't have a choic-" I tried to speak but she interrupted, "Shush, yes you did, now show me what those lips can do Mr. Shinoda" I lost control and grabbed her waist to pull her close to me, I threw her on top of myself and out lips locked aggressively. To say she was a bitch, her kisses were good.

Ruby walked in and shouted, my heart began to sink at the realisation of what happened, the arousal just vanished and reality hit. Jess stood and began arguing with her. The tears were hard to hold back but I had to get inbetween the girls to avoid a fight, Ruby pushed me out of the way with force I had not witnessed from her before and launched herself into the seducer. "Shit, I can't explain this to Ruby, she's done with me, I'm fucked..." My mind kept shouting and I walked a few feet away and put my head in my hands. I cried silently. Ruby at this point was uncontrollably hitting Jess with all her force, I had to intervene to pull Ruby away from the situation.

"Fuck you, both of you!" Ruby threw the door keys at my face and stormed off. I ran after her to try and explain but she didn't want me to touch her, "Touch me one more time and you won't have the time to explain yourself" She then said words that haunt me forever, "You can take this and give it to that bitch, cheater" She slipped the engagement ring off and threw it. I grabbed it and put it in my pocket to run after Ruby to give my final time to explain, but it was too late, "Ruby please I was ..seduced.." She drove off leaving a patch on the floor from the wheel spin. I dropped to the ground and cried. "I'm going, that bitch ruined our fun, bye Shinoda" Jess walked off and I paced slowly into my desolate house, I regretted cheating on her so badly but couldn't take this horrible mistake back, ever.

"Ruby..." My voice trembled as I walked upstairs to my bedroom, I looked at the photo of me and her that was in the drawer next to the door. I kissed the photo and put it to my chest, crying silently. The pain was the worst I had felt in years, I ran into my bathroom and looked in to the mirror, my hand reached for the ring she thrown at me and I stared at it. My legs slowly collapsed and gave up, I fell. 

Later...

I woke, on the floor with beer bottles all around me and Hybrid Theory playing on the radio. There was about 6 empty bottles and 1 half full one, spilt on the floor beside me. "Ugh my head.." My head was throbbing and I stood but it was hard to walk, I decided to go to my bedroom and fall on to the bed, the ring and photo next to me. 

No matter how tired I was, I could not get myself to fall asleep, the sadness and anxiety overwhelmed me, it made it impossible for me to be relaxed at all. I heard a song come on the radio from the bathroom, "Come undone - Robbie Williams" It had always meant a lot to me, saving me from my drinking habits a few years ago but it made me more upset that I had been constantly relapsing for 2 years and could not get off the drink. It was my way of dealing with hurt and pain.

I got off the bed and went in the bathroom again, the beer bottles annoyed me so I picked one up and threw it, it smashed everywhere. "I'm so stupid!" Knock knock knock. "Ugh who's this at this time?" I muttered while drunk af, I only then noticed it was 9am, I had passed out for a few hours. I opened the door and it was Chester looking heavily disappointed. "Man, I'm annoyed" He walked in, "Let's go upstairs and chat" I followed him and he looked at all the beer bottles, "Drinking your sorrows away huh?" He walked into my bedroom and saw the photo and ring. "Yeah.. You know why don't you?" I sat on the floor up against the wall, "Cause I was stupid, stupid, stupid!" With every 'stupid' I said, I got louder and angrier. "I can't believe you did it to her, she's the most harmless girl and you cheated on her, not cool man, not cool!" Chester shook his head in disappointment, he was pissing me off, "I don't need someone telling me this, my mind has done that job already thank you.." My mind was fucked up from everything, life was taking it's toll on me....
