"I'll find her. I promise." That was the last thing I remember telling Elsa before we parted ways.
I'm worried. I'm constantly worried. After what happened in her castle, Elsa was never the same. I know she was already worried about Honeymaren but after knowing about her sister... let's just say she wasn't able to handle it well that time.
What if she was lying about her being okay? Of course she's not okay. She just found out her best friend and sister is missing.
"Ow." My train of thought was interrupted when I was hit my a branch. I need to pay more attention to where I'm heading. I then immediately checked the pendant on me to see if there were any damage. I sighed in relief after finding it was unharmed.

"Was it the fearlings? What did they want with Anna." Elsa asked trembling. Grand Pabbie looked at her with worry. Elsa was trembling again.
I reached out my hand to calm her. She looked at me when our hands touched then took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. I know, I need to calm down." She said. I just gave her a weak smile.
"Your highness, Queen Anna is unharmed." Grand Pabbie said. I saw Elsa exhale, as if she was holding her breath earlier.
"Thank goodness." She said, her hand squeezed mine and the other clutched on her chest.
"She is however lost somewhere." Grand Pabbie added.
"Lost? Lost where?" Elsa asked taking a step farther to Grand Pabbie.
"I am not sure where specifically, but she did come here to ask if we had a charm." Grand Pabbie said.
"Charm?" I asked.
"Yes." He replied as he took out one of his glowing gem on him. "These crystals glow when they are near each other. The closer they are, the brighter they'll shine, but the farther they are the duller they'll get."
Grand Pabbie turned to Bulda and muttered something to her. She nodded her head and rolled away.
"Bigger crystals provide a much stronger light than the ones I have." He motioned to the ones dangling on his body. "We have larger ones, unpolished. They have more magical powers than polished but mush more fragile and harder to handle."
As if on cue, Bulda came to his side and handed him the said crystals. "Be careful, breaking them might damage its magical properties." Grand Pabbie us a piece.
"Thank you Grand Pabbie." Elsa replied as she accepted it. I heard her mutter an ow when a sharp part touched her skin, to which she covered with a thin layer of snow to keep it from prickling her.
She then turned to me, then to Grand Pabbie. "Grand Pabbie, do you perhaps have another piece?"
"There is no need your majesty, if I give you another one it might affect the glow of the one you have right now." Grand Pabbie explained.
"Oh, I was thinking that in case Jack and I need to split up-"
"Wait split up?" I looked at her confused. "No, Elsa I don't think I agree on that. What if something happens to you when I'm not by your side?" I asked, my voice raising a little. Clearing my throat a little after that.
"Look, I can handle myself. You know all the things I was able to accomplish even before I met you." Elsa said letting go of my hand.
"Yeah but you had Anna by your side back then." I argued.
"I was able to stay at the Enchanted Forest without Anna by my side and I've been fine." She said starting to raise her voice.
"Honeymaren was with you." I reasoned once more.
"Not always." She scoffed.
"My point still stands." I said.
"Do I seem incapable to you?" She yelled angrily, silencing everyone around us. That was when we both noticed the faint falling of snow. I don't know if it was caused by our powers or because of it was winter. Either way, the place was most definitely colder than earlier. Not that it mattered much to the trolls though, the small geysers here will melt it off in minutes.
"I'm sorry. I just-" Elsa said, her face a bit red.
"No, I'm sorry. I don't think you're incapable or anything. I just don't like the idea of having to do this separately." I said, the last part barely audible for them to hear.
Elsa sighed. "I don't too." She muttered. "But splitting up is the only way for us to cover more ground. We'll find them easier this way." Elsa explained. She turned to Grand Pabbie once more who then gave Bulda a look. Bulda replied with a nod and rolled away again.
"We don't have anymore crystals as big as the one you have your majesty but luckily there is still one that is unpolished, just a little smaller." Grand Pabbie explained.
"Thank you Grand Pabbie." Elsa simply replied. "I have a question, how strong is its cold resistance?" Elsa asked.
"Cold resistance?" Grand Pabbie asked. "I would say it could resist other elements well as long as it would not be cracked by impact. If it's your ice magic it would probably be fine as it also has magical properties." He explained.
After that there was just a small burst of light and from a mere stone, it was transformed into a small pendant. Elsa turned to me and motioned me to come closer. I did exactly that and she put the necklace on me.
"I thought the other one would be mine? Wasn't it supposed to be smaller?" I asked.
"Well, I figured you might need the bigger one since you cover the skies." Elsa said with a smile. My mouth formed an 'o' shape and nodded. "Yeah, that makes a lot of sense." I agreed.
As I was staring at the red almost pink crystal, it started to glow gradually. It was when Bulda was near that it reached an almost blinding light.
"Here you go your majesty." She handed the crystal to Elsa. Elsa of course thanked her as she recieved it.
The moment it was on the palm of her hand, she swirled her other hand around it and it transformed into a bracelet. "This should hold it nicely." She said with a smile.

"She's far huh?" I thought to myself, looking at the crystal that was dull as ever.
I realized that I was nearing the Enchanted Forest so I slowed down.
Mist? Is this the same as the mist from Olaf's story? I went there as fast as I could to check if the mist was magical.
I cautiously pointed my staff to it to "tap" it, just in case it really was like the one from Olaf's story. I was expecting it to bounce back but it didn't. It just went through. It's a normal mist.
"This wasn't here before." I muttered as I went through it. I looked around as as I got further the mist got thicker. "Is this because of the spirits?"
While I was talking to myself, I heard a noise not far from me.
"Who's there?" I pointed my staff to it's direction.
"Jack?" I heard a feminine voice.
"Who's there?" I repeated. A shadow appeared and slowly a figure showed.
"It is you!" She ran to my direction.
"Honeymaren?" I looked surprised. She gave me a hug the moment she was near me. I heard a faint "ow" from her before she quickly pulled away.
"Are you okay?" I asked. She just nodded with a smile and stared at me, or to be more specific, stared at my chest.
"What's that?" She pointed at the pendant.
"Oh this?" I held it up. "It's a charm. Elsa made it from the crystal the trolls gave us." I explained.
"It's beautiful." Honeymaren said, looking at it. "It seems a bit... pointy though?" She commented.
"Well, it's unpolished. The trolls said-" I paused. "Wait, is that why you muttered 'Ow' earlier? Is it because of the jagged edge of this?"
Her eyes widened. "Uh." She looked surprised. "Yeah. I... didn't think you noticed." She laughed nervously. That's odd, I didn't feel it get pressed to me though.
"Maybe it's a sign that I shouldn't be hugging you in the first place." She said as her laughing continued. "I mean, you and Elsa and the pendant and-"
"Wait no, I think you're misunderstanding something." I instantly stopped her. I could already feel the heat rise up to my face.
"Oh? Neither of you made any move yet then?" A smirk formed on Honeymaren's face. At this point even my ears felt really hot. "Honestly, I thought you already would've progressed a lot."
"I told you it's not like that." I shook my head. "Elsa's the first friend I ever had and-"
"It could become more than that." Honeymaren teased once more. Is she like this when they talk about me with Elsa too? Do they even talk about me?
"Let's just... go to where to the others are. It's starting to get late." I said trying to avoid a conversation like that again.
I turned to her and asked. "How good are you with heights?" I asked.
Honeymaren paused. "Why?" She asked.
"Well, I thought it will be easier if we flew our way there instead of walk by foot." I explained.
"Me? Fly?" She pointed at herself with a nervous voice. "How will I do that?"
"Well, we can ask Gale to help you with that." I explained.
"The wind spirit?" She looked a little scared.
"We don't have to if you're scared of heights." I said. She nodded. "Thank you. I'll just walk." She said.
"Alright. Just follow my lead." I smiled and started walking ahead. I heard her laugh.
"You don't have to walk with me you know. You can just float your way there." She said.
I paused. "Good point." I said as I let myself hover in the air.
***
As we walked our way to the North Mountain, Honeymaren was oddly quiet. She might not be much of a chatterbox but she would still try and crack up a conversation every once in a while.
Maybe it was the fact that she did get taken by the fearlings and managed to escape. She might've been traumatized because of that, she only says she's fine whenever I bring it up though.
What happened back there?
"Uh Jack..." Honeymaren pointed at me.
My eyebrows furrowed, wondering why she was pointing at me. Then I noticed my pendant was starting to glow.
I instantly looked around. Is it Elsa? No why would she be here? She went the other way. Maybe it's Queen Anna. Did I find both of them?
As the pendant grew brighter I saw a very familiar silhouette approach us. "Elsa." I said in barely a mutter as I rushed to her way.
"What are you doing here? I thought you'd be back at the castle by now?" I asked her.
"I was, but you weren't back yet so I went looking for you." She explained as she went off the Nokk. "I thought something bad happened to you."
"Well it's more good than bad really." I told her. I then realized that I left Honeymaren walking by herself the moment I realized the person going our way was Elsa.
I turned back and saw Honeymaren running to us. I flew her way and apologized quickly for flying away like that.
"It's okay, you got excited to see her again huh?" Honeymaren said. Does her talkativeness activate whenever it's for teasing? "You're blushing again Mr. Winter Spirit."
"Am not." I muttered before turning to Elsa.
"Look who I found." I told Elsa with a smile.
"Honeymaren!" Elsa ran to Honeymaren to give her a hug.
"Ow." She muttered again.
"Oh I'm so sorry. Did I hurt you? Was the hug too tight? Are you okay?" Elsa slightly panicked.
"No, it's okay. It's just something poked my back." She explained.
Elsa looked at her hands and instantly apologized once more. "I forgot this was pointy." She explained as she covered it with light frost, which also slightly dulled the glow of it. I did the same to mine for the glow purposes. It might now have been as blinding as the light from when we were at the Valley of the Living Rock but it was still bright.
"It's okay, it didn't hurt that much." Honeymaren laughed.
"This is great. Ryder will be so excited to know that you're okay." Elsa said grabbing Honeymaren's hand.
"Ryder?" Honeymaren asked, confused.
"Yeah, he was so worried that his sister was in trouble." Elsa explained.
"Oh, I didn't know he would... be so worried." Honeymaren said.
"What do you mean? Everyone was worried about you." Elsa said. "You were suddenly taken by the fearlings and disappeared and - Where were you? How did you escape? Are you hurt?" Elsa started to bombard her with questions.
"I'm fine Elsa. Thankfully." Honeymaren held her shoulders.
"I'm glad you're safe." Elsa said, holding Honeymaren's hand with a smile. "Let's go tell the others the good news."
