𝒀𝒖𝒋𝒊 𝒅𝒓𝒖𝒎𝒔 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒌 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒋𝒐 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔,however his mind was elsewhere. He was focused on the girl a row across in front of him, who sat slouched looking out the window, also not focusing. Usually something like this would humour him, the similarity in the lack of focus you both have when it comes to lessons. Her unusual behaviour was concerning him, she was now always late to morning registration, not having an appetite and had been locked up in her dorm more than usual. He decided she needed a well-deserved break and that's exactly what he was going to give her.

At the end of class, he waited as usual for Y/N while she packed up her notebook and pencil case into her bag, though she didn't really use any of it. As she exited the class, Yuji slung his arm around her shoulders almost throwing himself on top of her causing her to stumble a bit and felt her relax under his touch.

"Heyyy Y/N! Got any plans for tomorrow?"

"uhm..No? we aren't really allowed to go out so no, no plans." she readjusts her backpack strap onto her shoulder titling her head at his strange question.

"Good, don't make any plans. Be ready by eleven forty AM tomorrow!" he says with a lopsided grin and jogs off, leaving Y/N confused. She can't help but let a smile creep up onto her face, shaking her head as she chuckles at his strange but not unusual behaviour.

Y/N dusts off her clothes in her mirror, she's wearing vintage washed baggy jeans and a black slightly cropped tank top with layered necklaces and hooped ear rings. Y/N applies one last layer of lip gloss before heading towards her door when, just on time, she hears a knock on the door. Opening it, she's met with the sight of a tired Yuji, who yawns but halfway through waves excitedly at the girl before him who can't help but warmly smile at him.

"Tired?"

"Yeah.. but it's okay!" he beams and takes her by her hand, speeding off. His enthusiasm rubs off onto her and boosts her mood by just a bit and Yujis goal is to boost it all the way.

The two sat close in the car, Y/N had no idea where they were going but frankly she didn't care, she'd go anyway as long as it's with him. The window of the car was slightly cracked open, allowing a cool brisk breeze to enter the vehicle creating a comfortable temperature. She took his hand and outlined his fingers with hers, slowly trailing up and down feeling the roughs and scars on his hand from previous fights and training. He watched her closely, eyes captured on how focused she is and how relaxed she seems in comparison to previous days- Yuji couldn't remember the last time she was so content.

"We're here." Nanami plainly states, exiting the car first walking around to open the door for the two students. They unbuckled their seatbelts and got out of the car, Y/N looks up to the sign of where they are and it's a cute popular dessert shop. She remembers mentioning this place to Yuji before and that she wanted to visit it at some point.

"You remembered?" Y/N looks to Yuji who was already looking at her, grinning from ear to ear.

"Of course I did. Now come on, I'm dying to try their strawberry marshmallow milkshake!" he eagerly grabs your hand and drags you in to the pastel themed shop, the bright lights inside were almost blinding.

Nanami ordered before you two, asking for a simple coffee and sat at a distant table but still in a close proximity where he will be able to keep watch of the two of you.

"Woah this menu is huge.. I didn't know menus this long even existed.." Yuji peered up at the menu on the screen which displayed multiple milkshakes, hot beverages, ice creams and desserts. "I think I'm gonna get a strawberry marshmallow milkshake and waffles with chocolate sauce and strawberries." he nods in satisfaction of his decision, excited to dive into his meal as he accidentally skipped breakfast. "What are you gonna get Y/N?"

"hmm I'm not sure, there's so much to choose from. Maybe the cookies and cream milkshake and... uhmm.. the sticky toffee pudding?"

"Are you ready to order?" the cashier brightly smiles in which the two return, Yuji repeats their orders and gets out his card ready to pay.

"Oh are you sure? I can pay for my own." Y/N puts her hand on his stopping him, getting ready to reach for her purse in her bag,

"Nope! This is all on me today, don't worry about it!" he enters his card into the card reader and puts in the pin, taking it back out once it's accepted. She shakes her head but thanks him anyway, taking their order number sign to the table, placing it on the edge so it's in clear view for whoever is going to bring their food.

Once it arrives, the two were nearly drooling over how good it looked and smelt. They both immediately sip their milkshakes, Yuji gulps almost half of his down before letting out a sigh of happiness. "Wanna try mine?" he slides his forward and you nod, sliding yours towards him and they try each others.

"Tastes nice, too sweet though." Y/N pats the napkin on her mouth to wipe off any cream that was left. Yuji hums and shrugs at her comment, the two begin to eat their food.

"Did you want some of mine?" Y/N cuts off a piece and offers it to him.

"What was it again??"

"It's sticky toffee pudding."

"Sure! I've never had it before."

Your jaw nearly drops at his confession, immediately shoving the piece into his mouth watching in anticipation for his reaction. He swishes it around in his mouth, making sure he savours the taste before swallowing it and smacking his lips. "So? Come on you're killing me here! Do you like it or not?"

"I think I might have to order that for myself."

The three were back in the car again, going to the next destination Yuji had planned for them. This time, your hand is in Yujis while he plays with the rings on your fingers feeling the different designs while you looked out the window watching the different cars that pass. She spots a yellow car and an idea pops into her head, punching Yuji not too forcefully in the arm.

"Yellow car no hit back!" she exclaims and his jaw drops at her before he smirks.

"Oh you're so on."

After some time passes and sore arms, the three arrive at a theme park: Universal studios. "No way! this is where we're going?" Y/N feels a surge of excitement, a smile forcing its way to stay on her face feeling the strain on her cheeks.

"Yep! Let's go, come on!" the two run together to the entrance, though Nanami was the one with the tickets. He just lets out a long sigh and walks after them, readjusting the glasses on the bridge of his nose as he does so.

After admission, they run to the first ride they spot in the JAWS section, a boat ride. They watch as an enthusiastic actor pretend they're on a boat tour which is interrupted by a shark, with fake blood in the water and a super-realistic shark animatronic.

They next ran to the super nintendo world, begging Nanami to take a photo of them with Toad and after he did they went on multiple rollercoasters. Y/N buys a snow-globe with the photo of the two of them with their hands up screaming/smiling she was wearing a luigi hat while he wore the mario hat, using his finger to mimic the moustache.

"This place is so cool, it's like we're really in the game." Y/N swings Yujis hand as they walk together.

"Yeah! Did you wanna go grab some food?"

"Hmm, sure!" she grins and the begin to walk to a food place.

Y/N orders the Teriyaki chicken and superstar rice with a dr.pepper while Yuji orders the Mario's bacon burger with fries and a sprite. After the continued to run around and explore, going on every ride in sight no matter the wait and it was nearly time for the parks closing, Nanami had to drag them out and into the car.

The sun began to set and it was time for them to go to their final destination, a local park with a perfect hill to relax on and watch the sunset. Nanami sat on a distant bench once again far away but close enough to be able to watch over them. The air was warm and the sky was an array of colours which swirled and danced into each other casting a golden glow onto their faces.

"This is so nice Yuji, thank you, it's so pretty." She props herself up onto her elbows admiring the view before her, appreciating every part of it. However, Yujis eyes were only on her, admiring the glisten in her eyes as she stares out over the city and sky and the small but pretty smile on her lips. He felt a flutter in his stomach, debating whether now was the time to ask her.

"Yeah, it really is." "Hey Y/N?"

"mhm?" her attention was now fully on the boy next to her, the two staring into each others eyes.

"I like you." he blurts out, ripping his eyes away from hers."A lot. Everything about you is perfect to me, you're strong and kind, you care about everyone around you and you're not afraid to put others first."

She feels herself tear up and Yuji wipes away the tear threatening to drop with his thumb.

"And even if you do have a weird obsession with dr.pepper and you're really slow leaving lessons making us all wait." this causes you to laugh and so does he. "I like you a lot Y/N and nothing can change that." He hugs you tightly and after a few seconds and sniffles you pull away and smile, looking at his lips and back up to his eyes again.

"I like you too Yuji, like a lot." the two of you laugh again.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"
