"𝑫𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒊𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆?" Yuji asks as the two of you ran side-by-side towards the escalator, bolting down the moving stairs to find Megumi and Nobara.

"Without a doubt. I'm surprised this isn't a grade one curse, if it's powerful enough to make everyone in a shopping mall disappear, then I wonder how strong it'll be against all four of us..."

Now on the bottom floor, Yuji and Y/N run towards the ice cream shop where Y/N envisioned the curse, the breeze hitting their faces from how fast they're going.

Yuji's eyes widen as he sees the back of the head of someone he recognises."Kugisaki!" he calls out, even though they bicker like little kids, he's relieved to see she's okay. "Wait where's Fushiguro?" The two of you stop in your tracks, looking around for the raven haired boy.

"нє..gσηє υρ."

You and Yuji side eye each other, slightly concerned at her jumbled statement before looking back at Kugisaki, who is still turned around, not facing the two of you. "....say that again??"

𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐦𝐢 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚

"Shit, they're not here." Megumi inhales sharply, slightly panicked as he calls YNs number for the sixth time but yet again it goes straight to voicemail.

"You don't think they've disappeared with everyone else..do you?" Nobara walks out of the shop she was just in, looking for her two missing classmates but they were nowhere to be seen.

"I'm not sure. Maybe they've come looking for us too. L/N did call me to tell me the curse is on the bottom floor when we were there too, so my guess is they came looking for us there, while we've came up here."

"Probably would've been smarter to stay downstairs then." Nobara groans, now they're going to have to go back down, Megumi kissing his teeth at the fact. The two decide to walk up to the glass barrier in the centre, putting their heads over to see the bottom floor, and to their luck, they see Y/N with Yuji and....another Nobara??

"WHY AM I DOWN THERE WHEN I'M RIGHT HERE!?"she  yells, pointing at the clone and then herself, distraught.

"It's a clone, they're with the curse.""ITADORI, L/N BE CAREFUL, THAT'S NOT KUGISAKI THAT'S THE CURSE." he shouts out and this causes Yuji to look up, who then nudges Y/N and points up at Megumi, they both smile and wave, signalling for Megumi to come down before turning back to the clone."They didn't hear anything I just said." Megumi facepalms, cursing under his breath.

"FORGET THAT, THEY DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE I'M NEXT TO YOU?" Kugisaki growls at their stupidity, also annoyed they didn't take any notice to her.

Megumi rolls his eyes and leaps off the balcony, locking his thumbs together in a wing formation "Nue!"

𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐘/𝐍 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐮𝐣𝐢

Yuji perks his head up, hearing a voice but not registering what it said. "Oh hey! There he is, it's Fushiguro!" Yuji nudges Y/N, pointing up at the balcony. She turns her head to look where he's pointing and they both wave, smiling and signalling for him to come down before turning back to the curse.

Wait a sec.

The two whip their heads around, doing a double take as they see Kugisaki up on the second floor and Megumi being brought down by his shikigami.

Before they could register what had just happened, the clone of Kugisaki's arm grew abnormally large, swinging around to you and Yuji, your eyes widen before squeezing them shut and you cross your arms in front of your face, in attempts to block the hit but suddenly you get thrown to the ground, avoiding the impact of the curse which obliterates the window of a nearby shop, glass shards flying everywhere and scattering on the ground.

Opening your eyes you see Yuji, who threw himself over you to protect you, holding you tightly in his arms, your head being held into his chest by his hand which protected it from the harsh collision with the floor, Yuji quickly stands up offering his hand out to you to which you take.

"You okay?" he looks you up and down for any injuries, still holding your hand, squeezing it comfortingly.

"Yeah I'm okay, thanks for that, I owe you big time."

"don't worry about it." he lets your hand go, giving you a thumbs up before turning back to the curse.

The curse now is fully turned around, still in the form of Kugisaki , but one of her eyes are missing and she has three arms, two on one side which are normal sized unlike the other, clutching onto something.

"That is not a pretty sight." Kugisaki was repulsed at the sight. you turn around to see the real one stood behind you and you nod at her, as if to ask if she's okay and she nods back.

"where have all the people gone? What have you done?" Y/N shouts at the curse who is now staring at her, almost into her soul before its lips curl into a sinister smile, revealing daggers for teeth as it erupts into laughter, sticking its giant tongue out revealing the other eye.

"least we know where your other eye is." Yuji sarcastically points out to Nobara, who punches his arm.

"THATS NOT ME DUMBASS!"

The curse slams its fist between Yuji and Nobara and the two jump away, Nobara flicks one of her nails into the air before sending it flying into the curses arm with her hammer, clicking her fingers together causing large explosions of blood and flesh and yuji punches the curse causing its body to rotate before kicking its cheek, sending it flying down causing the curse to yelp in pain, making it angry as it grits its' teeth, flinging itself back up now fighting both Yuji and Nobara.

Using the distraction as an opportunity, Megumi reaches in his shadows, pulling out long nun-chucks, which have sharp spikes along the chain in the middle, tossing them to Y/N.

"Thanks, Megumi." he nods in acknowledgment and Y/N runs towards the curse, jumping into the air to avoid its fist before it comes back up again, kicking off a nearby wall to give her more air time to use her body to wrap the nun-chucks around the arm, pulling down with immense force to sever the limb as gravity pulls her down, blood spitting like a fountain as she slams back down onto the floor.

"nice!" Yuji exclaims but his satisfaction is immediately shut down when it grows another arm, much bigger.

Y/N squints her eyes at the curse, noticing it's only using one arm to attack, the other two holding onto something tightly, as if it's protecting something. Knowing she has no time to waste in getting her cursed orb out, she closes her eyes before shooting them open again."clairvoyance: ever seeing eyes"

a rectangular object is outlined in the clutch of the curse, the box glowing to Y/N, showing her (and only her) what the monster is hiding.

She quickly sprints over to Megumi, revealing her information."We need to sever those hands, if I'm correct then I think that's where all the missing people are." she whispers and he looks at her for a second before turning back to the curse to continue fighting, Y/N runs to Yuji and Nobara, also informing them.

One of the curses faces twist in annoyance, stomping on the floor causing the ground to shake, it no longer looks like Kugisaki, the curse has grown in size with multiple limbs; arms, legs, faces, it looked monstrous."Yσυ ɠυყʂ ɱαƙιɳɠ ɱҽ Ⴆσɾҽԃ! ɳσ ϝυɳ αɳყɱσɾҽ!"

"Great it can talk, disgusting." Megumi huffs, throwing his head back in boredom. "Demon dogs, go and feast!" he does another sign with his hands, two huge dogs emerging from the shadows beside him, one black and one white, both with red markings on their head, lunging onto the curse sinking their teeth into its arm, ripping into its skin, slobber dripping from their blood thirsty- jaws. Yuji comes up behind it, punching the clone of Kugisaki, distracting it from the dogs as it swings another one its arms into the walls in attempts to swipe off Megumis shikigami, Yuji turns swiftly to attempt to grab the box, but is flung away as it grows another arm from its head, slamming him into a nearby smoothie stand, the fruits falling ontop of him, bouncing off his head.

Megumi reaches into his shadows, pulling out his own weapon, the jet-black shadow sword, gripping the handle tightly causing his veins to pop out slightly, he bolts forward, dodging the multiple attacks from the curse jumping up into the air before coming down to slice its arms off, but is kicked away, rolling on the floor.

"Jeez, how many limbs is this bitch gonna grow?" Nobara grits through her teeth, knocking nails into its now countless limbs, clicking her fingers making all of themexplode. "I'm about to run out of nails!"

"I don't know, but we need that box." Y/N kicks away another arm she just severed, eyeing the two arms still clutching the box. The four surrounded the curse, each fighting different parts of it, all of them tired from the never ending fighting.

Yuji and Kugisaki charge at the curse both launching up into the air as if they're about to strike the curse, its focus now on them as it swings around, two of its huge arm going to grab the two students out of the air but they smirk, ducking down- dodging before the demon dogs come from both sides leaping onto the curse, biting into its normal shoulders, tearing its arms apart as it screams, the dogs were moving too fast for the curse to counteract and grow more arms, Megumi swings his sword down onto the normal-sized arms which seemed tiny in comparison to the rest of the curses body, slicing them clean off, the hands releasing the box and Kugisaki uses her straw pin doll technique to completely exorcise the curse.

"This the box?" Megumi hands it to Y/N as she nods, slightly hesitant to open it, but does anyway, a bright light blinding the four causing her to drop the box and cover her eyes. Y/N bends down to pick up the box again, looking back up, proud her assumption was right.

Chatter once again fills the mall, people stood still as they look around, confused at all the rubble and shattered glass on the floor, to them its as if they blinked and suddenly something exploded.

"shit." Y/N realises the mess they made and the trouble they're all going to be in."we're in so much trouble."

They all groan as they quickly walk to the exit, trying not to be noticed with all the grazes and occasional cuts they have from the fight.
