construction site (gally)

The glade was always warm. Just today it wasn't. It was freezing. Everyone that could was working inside. The builders were out in the cold though. Every time one of them were injured I had to go out and help them because no one else wanted to. Happened more than you would think.

I'm the only girl. I get looks from everyone. Well most of them. The few exceptions were like brothers to me. Newt, Alby, Minho, Jeff, Clint. They're the ones that don't treat me like a pretty distraction.

Gally's head of builders. Injures himself the least, most strict and serious of us all. Until someone else messed up. Someone was unscrewing part of the door to adjust it and scratched himself with the screwdriver. Ended up throwing it backwards into Gally's arm. He wasnt very pleased. So he sent the guy to get me.

He had sat down against one of the trees, one leg bent, holding his arm. 'Since when did Gally get hurt? Normally you're shouting at everyone else for injuring themselves.' I walked over to him, in my usual clothes. Jeans, boots and shirt. It was harder to get clothes for me, had to wait for more each time then box came up. Most of the boys shared and for obvious reasons I couldn't.

'Yeah, well blame Will, he threw it at me.' I swear sarcasm is the only way he communicates. 'He didn't throw it at you, he cut himself and dropped it.' he'd left the screwdriver in, he knew not to take it out, it would've made the bleeding worse. Will came over, and I could see he was already worried about what Gally would say. 'Uh, Alby said to be inside, not outside, at least while you're being treated.' he stuttered slightly but I ignored it.

'Thanks Will, where should we be going?' I spoke kindly, knowing Gally wouldn't. 'Just inside the construction would work, the roof's already secure so you'll be entirely safe.' he avoided looking at Gally, I caught him look at my chest a few times. 'Thanks, Will.' I started to stand up, using the tree for support. Gally did too, I helped him so he wouldn't make his arm worse.

'Y/n, do you wanna maybe have dinner with me later, there's a great spot by the river, no one else can see it and -' he didn't get to finish. Gally shoved his chest, with the arm with a screwdriver in it. 'She doesn't want to Will now back off. And we all know why you want no one to see you disgusting shank.' with that he ran off, not wanting to stay any longer.

'You don't have to be so rude to him. I could've dealt with it.' we started walking back to the construction. They're making a separate place for med jacks to work, even though there's only three of us. 'Yeah, well he shouldn't be such a dirty minded slinthead. And you didn't seem to be dealing with it.' I could see some blood escaping beneath his hand now. 'I was letting him finish speaking. It's called being polite. Now hurry up we need to sort that out.' I notioned to his arm.

When we got inside, I told him to sit on the bench. I grabbed a bandage and cleaning alcohol and sat beside him. 'Let go.' he pulled his hand away, revealing the wound. 'That needs to come out now so stay still.', I put the bandage down so I could pull the screwdriver out. I tried to do it slowly and avoid a lot if pain. When it was out I put it on the side, pressing a cloth against his arm. He pulled his sleeve up so I could get to it better. He held the sleeve on his shoulder as I wiped most of the blood away.

Someone knocked at the door, 'Hey, it's raining, we're heading in. You two gonna be fine for now?' the voice came. 'Yeah of course, we'll be in when I'm done.' I heard him walk away. I wiped down his cut with the cleansing alcohol.

'Would you have gone with him.' he asked, suddenly and unexpectedly. 'What do you mean gone with him? Will, to the river? God no, I'm not an idiot. Why you asking?' some of the boys always say that Gally had a thing for me too, I just chose not to believe them. He does have nice arms though. Lots of muscle. I picked up the bandage and started wrapping it about his arm.

'No reason, I just wondered.' That was a lie. He speaks abnormally fast when lying. 'So the truth would be nice.' I started to tie off the bandage, putting the knot above the cut. 'Because I don't want him doing that to you.' he was avoiding looking at me. Maybe they were right. 'That it?' I finished the knot and pressed around it, making sure it was on right. 'Not really, I - How do I put this -' oh shuck, guess Newt might of won that bet. I stood up, finished with his arm. 'How do you put what Gally -'

He didn't need to think of how to say it. He just did it. His lips collided with mine, brief but passionate and warming. When he pulled back, he looked at me instantly, 'Sorry -' 'Don't be.' then I kissed him. This time more prolonged. I moved my hands around his neck, holding onto him. His moved to my waist and face. The wind knocked a tree branch into the window. I stopped to look, 'They're all inside, it's just wind.' 'Good.' I don't know when but my back ended up against a wall, our lips dancing upon eachother.

'You sure?' can't just keep going can he. 'Take a guess.' And he was kissing me again. His shirt coming off, as was mine soon after. His lips moved further down to my jawline and neck. It was raining and everyone else went inside. They wouldn't find out. He let go of my waist, moving to unbuckle his belt.

'I'm not doing it unless it's what you want,' 'It is.' 'Great.' He didn't waste any time, and god it was good. It was slow at first, he was being careful. He kept speeding up over time, thrusting faster and faster. Thank god there was no one outside, or they'd wish they were deaf.

I'm pretty sure he was scared of going too hard at first. He soon realised I'd be fine, thrusting harder and deeper. 'Fuck, y/n -' he kept moaning as we went. 'God, so close -' he found that spot, the be that made me feel heavenly and hit it, over and over again. We were a mess as we rode out our highs, panting and heavily breathing.

'Race ya inside. If you can walk that is.'
