CHAPTER 24

"MINJI? IS THAT REALLY YOU?!"

We all looked at Mrs. Jeon weirdly, how does she know Minji? Why is she so happy all of a sudden? I swear just awhile ago she was so angry and frustrated...

"How do you know my name?"

Minji asked as she looked at Mrs. Jeon confusedly

"Oh I'm sorry...do you want to sit down for awhile since this might be a lot to take in sweetie"

Mrs. Jeon said in a soft sweet motherly voice as she instructed all of us to sit down on the couch. Mr. and Mrs. Jeon are acting a bit strange for some reason.

We all stared at the both of them as we waited for them to explain.

"Jungkook-" Mr. Jeon started as he looked at Jungkook with a unreadable expression

"You see we haven't told you this yet but when you were little you used to have a baby sister just a year younger than you.."

Mr. Jeon explained as all of our eyes went wide, our eyes then became wider when Mrs. Jeon added

"She looked exactly like you...she even had the same moles as yours"

"But if I did have a little sister what happened? Why isn't she with us?" Jungkook asked as he was still clueless from the situation

"You see a long time ago when you were a year old I got pregnant again with a baby girl but the only problem is your father wasn't the head leader of the Jeon clan yet and both me and your father were broke, we didn't have the supplies, we didn't have money nor any place to stay...we both were going thru a crisis that we had to borrow money from different people...look you see we couldn't borrow money from your grandfather who was the current Jeon clan head leader since it will really ruin his reputation if our clan knows about us being very homeless, it was really hard that we had to borrow money from a witch, then your little sister was born as we named her Minji but not to long until she was taken away from us since we couldn't pay our debt for the hundreds of money we owe, both me and your father were very devastated as the witch took your little sister with her since we didn't have a choice but now I think she is right here"

As Mrs. Jeon was explaining their story tears were running down her face same with Mr. Jeon as they both stared at Minji

"But how do you know if I'm your real child?" Minji said with a shaky voice since she was still gathering up all the information she just heard

"Just like I told you...you and Jungkook look very much the same, from your face shape to your smiles and moles on your face" Mrs. Jeon explained smiling sweetly

I think I get it now! Now I know why I always remember Jungkook whenever I see Minji smile...she looked just like Jungkook, it's just that Jungkook is 17 and Minji is 16 which also makes sense since from Mrs. Jeon's story Jungkook's little sister is a year younger than him and Minji is a year younger than him as well

It all makes sense!!!

"Tho not gonna deny it but you guys actually do look alike Kook" Lisa said as she stared at Jungkook's face which was zooming out, his eyes wide with a lot of shit going on in his head.

"We're so sorry sweetie that we weren't there for you, we both promise that we will make it up to you in any way you prefer" Mr. Jeon said as he kneeled down infront of Minji followed by Minji as she looked at them with tears in her eyes

"I can't believe I found you guys" Minji said as she kneeled with them and hugged them as Jungkook then headed towards them and join them as well.

Oh how great it is to see a big happy family reuniting, I wonder how my parents are doing.

The family then stood up from the floor still not braking their hug until Minji finally breaks it.

Her expression was very mysterious as she then grinned and looked at Mr. and Mrs. Jeon

"You guys said you'll do anything to make it up to me right?"

"Yes sweetie whatever it is we'll do it" Mr. Jeon confirmed

"Okay then....help us"
