"Joe, I have an appointment for today at twelve," I said hanging up the phone with the doctors' office.

"Awesome," Joe smiled, giving me another kiss, "We're going to be parents!"

"Should I call my mum and James and see if they want to meet up for dinner tonight?" I smiled, "I'm so excited I just want to tell someone!"

"That works," Joe nodded as he now did his hair.

"Okay, I'll call them now," I smiled.

I went and sat on my sofa and dialed my mum.

"Hi Minx," My mum greeted.

"Hi Mum. I know this is a bit random, but would you and James want to meet up for dinner tonight?" I asked.

"Um, sure. Should I be concerned about something?" My mum questioned.

"No, we've just been busy a lot and want to meet up and catch up a bit," I said seriously.

I want to keep it a surprise and get ultrasound pictures to show them from today, although there will be little to nothing to see. Whatever, it's the meaning behind it.

"Yeah, alright! I'm actually getting a pedicure with Rose right now, so can you text me where we'll meet up?"

"Yeah, love you."

"Love you too. Bye darling."

I hung up the phone before deciding to get in the shower.

"I'm going to get in the shower," I announced to Joe.

"Okay, be careful," Joe said cautiously.

"Joe, I'll be fine," I giggled.

"I just want you to be extra careful now," Joe said meekly.

"Alright," I laughed.

I got undressed and looked at myself in the mirror, wanting to see a small baby bump, but I only just look a little bloated, as I expected.

"Minx Levins," The nurse smiled as Joe and I waited for the ultrasound.

"Oh, here," I smiled, standing up.

"Okay, hi. I'm going to weigh you and then I'll take you to the ultrasound room," She nodded.

She did exactly what she said and now Joe and I are waiting in the examination room for the doctor to come and do the ultrasound.

"I'm nervous," I said quietly to Joe.

"Nah, I'm excited more than anything," He grinned.

"Hello! I'm Dr. Fieldings, you're Minx Levins, correct?" The doctor smiled as he entered the room.

"Yeah," I nodded.

"Okay, and you are... husband, boyfriend, friend?"

"Fiancé," Joe nodded.

"Oh, so a little bit of all of them," He joked, "Okay, so we'll be doing an ultrasound to look at a possible baby? How exciting!"

He sat down and put the folder to the side before getting the gel and putting it on my bare stomach.

"Okay, so we're going to just a little look around," He smiled as he started the ultrasound.

He moved around the device against my stomach, then looking on the screen.

"And there it is," He grinned.

In the middle of the screen was a wide black circle and in the middle, was the baby. Small, white, and almost unrecognisable to being a baby.

"Wow," Joe said astonished to what's being seen on the screen.

"So, you're about six weeks along already. Oh, and look you can slightly see the little heart beat."

"Oh my god," I said shocked.

"Six weeks along? Wow," Joe nodded.

"Can we have pictures of the ultrasound?" I asked Dr. Fieldings.

"Of course!" He nodded.

"I'll go get them printed right now and then I'll give you a bit more information before you leave."

He left the room really quickly to get the pictures and I wiped the gel off my stomach.

"H.ell, six weeks!" Joe laughed.

"I have no f.ucking idea how. I must've forgotten to take the pill!" I shrugged, "But I did still have a really light period last month!"

"Whatever. Just look at how amazing this is!" He grinned excitedly.

Dr. Fielding soon came back with the pictures. He handed us about 5 copies of the pictures.

"Okay, so make sure you're eating healthy and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Don't over exert yourself, just be a little more purposefully healthy, that is, if you aren't already. However, you look quite fit, so you should be okay. Also don't be surprised if certain smells make you feel sick, you need to use the toilet more, or you have mood swings. It's all natural."

"Thank you," I smiled.

"No problem! It's my job! Now have a great day," He grinned as we got up to leave.

"This is crazy and all happening so fast," I smiled.

"It's awesome though. I never knew I would be this excited about having a kid. Especially now in my life, I know we were planning to wait, but everything happens for a reason, right?"

"Yeah, I'm just excited to tell my parents and friends," I grinned.

"Me too. But I want to wait a while before we put it online, yeah?" Joe asked.

"Definitely! And really let this whole Rory thing calm down a bit," I breathed.

"Ugh, is that still going on on Twitter?"

"Mhm," I groaned.

"Whatever..."

"Now what?" I shrugged as we sat in the car at the hospital, just talking.

"Hm, I don't know. How do you feel?"

"Fine," I shrugged again.

"Let's get some lunch?"

"Yeah."

Joe drove us down to a casual restaurant and we sat down to eat.

"Does it feel weird?" Joe asked.

"No, if it felt weird, don't you think I would've noticed earlier?" I giggled.

"Touché," Joe laughed lightly.

I ate a small salad for lunch as I wasn't that hungry.

After lunch, we headed back to Joe's flat.

"Hey, where'd you two end up last night?!" Caspar asked as we got inside.

"We had to leave because Minxie wasn't feeling too well," Joe explained.

"Aw, are you feeling better now?"

"Yeah, I just needed to sleep," I grinned.

"That's good!" Caspar grinned, "Joe, can we do another collab? I don't have an idea for this week. I was going to do the Brain Freeze Challenge again, but, I don't know."

"Yeah, no problem," Joe shrugged.

I followed them both downstairs as they set up the camera downstairs.

They spent almost an hour just setting up and finding questions for the Q&A. Before they started recording, I laid on Joe's bed while they got everything ready, and just went on my phone.

"Okay, I think we're finally ready," Caspar said, sitting next to Joe on the edge of the bed.

"Oh, let me move really quick," I laughed, moving to sit on Joe's desk chair instead.

They started recording and doing the Q&A, which soon turned into almost a dare video, but it was still entertaining and funny.

"Minxie, can you hand me that water bottle?" Joe asked.

I grabbed the water bottle on the desk behind me and tossed it to Joe.

"Thanks."

As they finished filming, Joe went to go get ready to go out tonight. I hung out with Caspar as he did so.

"So, anything new?" Caspar asked as he sat next to me on the sofa.

"No, not really. Just exhausted from last week and then travelling for Joe's book tour. Then, I think we're going to plan the wedding soon," I explained.

"How exciting!" Caspar laughed.

"Okay Minx, I'm ready!" Joe smiled as came upstairs.

"That was quick!" I smiled.

Joe and I said our goodbyes to Caspar before we headed back to my flat again and I got changed and did my make-up before we headed down to the restaurant to meet up with my mum and James.

"So should we wait to see if she asks, like she always does, or should I just give her the ultrasound picture?" I asked Joe.

"Hm, we'll wait to see if she asks first," He nodded smiling excitedly.

As we arrived, my mum had texted me to say they were already seated.

"Minx, darling!" My mum smiled as we sat down with them at the booth at the fancy restaurant my mum chose to eat at.

"Hello!" I smiled.

"Hi Joe! How are you honey?" My mum smiled.

"Good, thanks," He nodded.

James greeted both of us as well as we sat down and looked at the menus before ordering.

"So Minx was telling me you enjoyed the book-signings?"

"Yeah, but at the end my hands are always hurting a bit, from signing so many copies. Last week, I signed 1,200 copies in one sitting," Joe said.

"D.amn, good for you though!" James nodded, obviously impressed.

Joe had his hand rested on my thigh as we casually talked and ate our food.

"And here I go, being nosey and curious," My mum laughed, "I'm assuming nothing's changed since I've last talked to you," She smiled.

"Diane, that was only four days ago!" James laughed, shaking his head.

"Oh my God!" I laughed at them.

"Well..." Joe smiled.

I took the picture out of my bag and held it in my lap so they couldn't see it yet.

"What?" My mum questioned.

I held up the picture for her and James to see.

"Oh my God! No! Really? Minx, I swear if you're lying to us," My mum said loudly, causing others to stare a bit.

"No, look!" I smiled, handing her the small square picture.

"Oh my God! Are you really pregnant?!"

"Yes Mum!" I laughed.

"Congratulations!" James smiled happily.

"How far along are you?!"

"Six weeks. But we only found out last night I was pregnant, and then had the ultrasound today," I explained.

"Oh my God! It's happened so fast!" My mum smiled, "I'm so happy for you two!"

"We're happy too. Even though we planned on waiting..." I trailed off.

Joe had a big smile on his face as he looked at the ultrasound picture.

"I love you," I smiled, quietly, as my mum and James continued talking about the baby.

"I love you too," Joe smiled, gently rubbing my stomach.
