"She's so beautiful," I gushed as I held Noelle, "And tiny."

"Yeah, she likes to cry," Nora laughed.

Noelle was actually a really pretty baby. She has big eyes and cute small lips. She looks a lot like Eric to be honest, but a baby girl version.

"Cute," Joe smiled as he got up to get himself water.

We are at my flat and Nora came around to visit with Noelle. She had already been here for a while and Noelle was getting fussy.

"I think we're going to get back home," Nora smiled as she took Noelle from me.

"Alright. Thanks for visiting," I smiled.

"Do you need help?" Joe asked as Nora picked up the baby carrier and baby bag.

"I think I've got it, but thank you," She smiled.

As Nora left, Joe closed the door and let out a sigh.

"Joe. What do you have against her?"

"I don't know. She's just... I don't know," Joe shrugged, "Like, she never seems bothered about you. It's always about her."

"Well, she's going through a lot."

"I guess," Joe shrugged, wrapping his arms around my waist and giving me a small kiss.

"How are your stitches?" Joe asked, pulling up my shirt a bit.

"Most of them have already dissolved."

"That's good. It looks a lot better," Joe smiled giving me another small kiss, "More book signings the day after tomorrow."

"I know. This week has been busy and flown by!"

I leaned my head on Joe's chest as he gave me a hug.

"Hello?" Joe said as he picked up his phone.

"Brother!" I could hear Zoe through the phone, "Alfie and I are in town! Do you want to meet up for dinner?"

"Sure, what time?"

"In a few hours? At seven? I'll text you where we'll meet up."

"Ok no problem. See you then."

Joe hung up the phone with Zoe and filled me in with all the plans.

"When are we meeting up?"

"7 o'clock."

"Good, because I'm tired," I yawned.

"Me too. Let's take a nap, and I'll put an alarm on for us to get up."

"Okay," I smiled.

Joe and I went into my room and I made sure Joe actually put an alarm on before falling asleep.

"Minxie, wake up," Joe said quietly.

"I'm awake," I groaned, turning around so my face was buried in my pillow.

"Alright, I'm going to shower," Joe said.

I eventually got up and got dressed while Joe showered.

"Just about ready?" Joe asked as we had both gotten ready.

"Yeah," I nodded, slipping on my booties.

"Let's go."

Joe drove us down to the restaurant we planned to meet up at. It wasn't a fancy restaurant, but it was still nice.

"Minx! Joe!" Zoe smiled, giving us both hugs.

"Hello!" I grinned.

After giving Zoe a hug, I followed by giving Alfie a hug too. We all chatted before getting seated and then looking at the menus.

"We haven't spoken in ages! How was the book signing?" Zoe asked Joe.

"Great! I'm excited for this weekend's signing too," Joe smiled.

I couldn't quite decide what to eat so I just got the same as Zoe, per her recommendations.

"Oh yeah! Remember my friend Nora?" I asked Zoe.

"Um, yeah a bit. Wasn't she at your house that one time we went in the hot tub?"

"Yeah! Well did I ever tell you she got pregnant?"

"Oh, I can't remember, maybe."

"Yeah, well she's just given birth earlier this week."

"Aw. That's cute. Is it a boy or girl?"

"A girl, her name is Noelle May."

"That's adorable."

We joined in on Joe's and Alfie's coversation about fans and weird, or crazy, experiences.

After we finished eating, we went back to Joe and Caspar's flat and Zoe and Alfie came along.

"The next train leaves at 11 o'clock, so can we hang out until then?" Alfie asked Joe.

"O'course mate," Joe smiled.

We decided to put on a scary movie in preparation for Halloween.

Throughout the movie, there were a lot of jump-scares. I don't get scared watching blood or guts, or creepy people, animals, demons, whatever, but the only thing that scares me are jump-scares.

"Minx," Joe laughed quietly, when I jumped.

"Shh," I hushed him, paying attention to the movie.

I could still feel his eyes on me, so I gave him a small kiss before continuing to watch the movie.

"Ready Zoe?" Alfie asked as he slipped his shoes on.

"Yeah."

"We'll take you to the station," Joe smiled, discreetly pinching my bum as I got up.

I threw on one of Joe's old jumpers and my shoes before going down to the car.

"It's been lovely seeing you two again!" Zoe smiled.

"We need to get together more often!" I grinned, giving her a tight hug as they got ready to get on the train.

"Definitely! We should go Christmas shopping after Halloween!"

"Yes!" I giggled excitedly.

"Alright! We'll keep in touch!" Zoe smiled.

We gave final hugs and they got on the train as Joe and I drove back to his flat.

"So you're afraid of jump-scares, eh?" Joe teased.

"Joe," I giggled.

"It's not a bad thing. It's cute," He smirked.

"How in the world is it cute?! I just get startled!" I laughed.

"Your face, I don't know. Maybe it's because I just think your cute in general."

"Joe," I blushed.

"I like that when you don't know what to say, you just say my name," He laughed, focusing on the road as he drove.

"Are you just going to continue picking on me?" I giggled.

"If you want me to."

"No!" I laughed.

"Well, anyway, I think it's funny when you look confused, you pull a certain face!"

"Joe!" I laughed at all his remarks.

"No, you raise one eyebrow a bit and crinkle your nose! I guess I just fancy you," He smirked again.

"Oh, really now?!" I giggled.

"I guess so. That's probably why I keep teasing you," Joe said playfully.

"Oh okay then!"

"Well?"

"What?"

"Do you fancy me?" Joe smirked.

"Of course!" I giggled leaning over to give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Maybe we should just go to your flat and have some privacy!" Joe joked as we pulled up to his flat.

"We're already here!" I shrugged opening the door to get out.

Joe got out and held my hand as we went inside.

"I'm going to bed," Caspar groaned as we walked inside.

"'Night," Joe and I said in unison.

Caspar went downstairs and I heard the door close.

"Minxie, you are so beautiful," Joe hummed.

"Joe," I blushed again for the second time within ten minutes.

I gave Joe a kiss, which he in return, deepened, and lifted me on to the countertop.

"Let's go downstairs," Joe smirked, "We just have to be quiet."

I bit my lip and nodded, jumping off the countertop and following him downstairs, holding his hand.
