Tomorrow is the first day of Joe's book tour, which is exciting for him. I'm so proud of him and everything he has accomplished with this book.

"I think I'll head back to my flat for tonight and pack, then tomorrow can you pick me up?" I asked Joe.

"Aw, I was hoping you'd spend the night tonight," Joe pouted playfully.

"I still have to pack an overnight bag for tomorrow. Why don't you come over? I always spend the night here."

"Alright," Joe nodded, "Let me pack really quick right now."

Joe went downstairs to his room and I followed.

"I need something suitable to wear for the book signing," Joe said as he rummaged through his clothes.

"Just wear something casual."

"Yeah," Joe agreed as he picked something out.

Joe put all of his stuff in a bag. Everything he would need for the next few nights.

"Let's go," Joe smiled.

We got in Joe's car and he drove us to my flat. Joe has gotten more observant since we saw Rory, especially during the evenings when it gets dark.

"Oh, just come on," I smiled to Joe.

"I'm just looking out for you baby," Joe said quietly.

"I know, I'm sorry. Let's just get inside, it's cold."

Joe got his bag and we went upstairs to my flat.

"It's cold in here, I'll put on the heater," I said as I walked inside.

"Maybe we'll have to keep each other warm," Joe smirked.

"Oh God," I giggled and blushed at what he was implying.

"I'm a bit nervous for tomorrow," Joe confessed.

"What? Why? Joe, you've done so much for this to happen, be proud of your work!"

"I am proud of it, but I'm a bit nervous some people won't like it."

"You can't always please everyone. Joe, I'm so proud of you, you can't even begin to imagine. With both YouTube and now this book! You have a lot to be proud of!" I smiled.

"Mm, thank you Minxie."

"And I'll be there with you," I grinned playfully.

"That'll make it all the more better," Joe smiled.

I sat next to Joe on the sofa and cuddled next to him. Joe pulled me onto his lap and gave me a kiss. I sat up straight and played with Joe's hair.

"What're you doing?!" Joe laughed.

"Braiding your hair," I smiled, "Move forward."

Joe sat infront of me on the ground while I sat on the sofa. I pulled back his hair.

"It's getting so long," I giggled as I pulled back his long hair at the top of his hair.

"I know, I need a cut," Joe laughed.

I played around and braided his hair into a french braid down the back. Joe put on the television and watched a program as I played with his hair.

"Oh my God!" I laughed, "It looks hilarious!"

I took it out and put it in a bun instead.

"Minxie! What're you doing now?" Joe laughed, swatting my hands away.

"No! It looks... Well..." I giggled, "Keep it in."

"Alright," Joe groaned playfully.

He turned around and leaned up to give me a kiss.

"I can't take you seriously like that!" I giggled.

I got my phone and took a selfie with Joe and I, and his man-bun.

"Oh God!" Joe laughed.

I uploaded it onto Twitter, tweeting:

"Fun night in. Xx."

"Thanks for posting it!" Joe laughed, "I look like a t.wat!"

"No you don't!" I laughed.

"Fine," Joe smiled.

"I can take it down, I just thought it was cute," I said softly.

"No! Baby, I was joking! There's worse pictures of me on the internet, don't worry," Joe laughed, giving me another kiss.

Joe broke the kiss when there was a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" Joe asked.

"How am I supposed to know?" I giggled.

Joe got up and looked through the peep-hole before unlocking and opening the door.

"Oh! Hello Joe, nice hair-do!" My mum smiled as she came inside.

"Oh, thanks!" Joe laughed awkwardly, taking the bun out.

"I did it," I laughed, "Hi Mum."

"Hi darling, I texted you earlier today, but you didn't reply, I just wanted to stop by and see how you are," My mum smiled, "But did I interrupt anything?

"No! We were just talking and I was messing with his hair, obviously," I laughed.

"I saw that," My mum laughed along.

"How are you Diane?" Joe asked.

"Oh, I'm great, thank you. How are you two?"

"We've been good," Joe nodded.

"Yeah, Joe's book tour starts tomorrow," I added.

"Oh yes! Congratulations!"

"Thanks."

"So, have you two thought anymore about a wedding?" My mum smiled.

"Not really," I shrugged, "We're just focusing on each other, and Joe's career."

"Alright," My mum huffed jokingly.

"Maybe we'll start thinking about it after Joe's book tour," I shrugged.

"Yeah," Joe smiled as he sat down next to me.

"How's James?" I asked.

"Doing well. He's expanding his business again but this time with... Well, nevermind. He's doing good though, I'll let him know you asked," My mum smiled.

"Who is he expanding with?"

"It doesn't matter honey," My mum smiled, before trying to change the conversation.

"Mum?"

"...With Richard."

"Speaking of which, why is Rory, out of prison? F.ucking Richard got him out and everything was dropped!"

"Minx, watch your language!"

"Why would James continue to work with him?"

"It's business, honey. I know it doesn't make sense, but it's what's best for their businesses."

"H.ell, I don't care as long as I don't have to see Rory ever again," I grumbled.

Joe put his arm around me to calm me down.

"Alright, darling. Richard was just looking out for his son."

"So it makes it okay for him to go around touching girls without consent?!"

"It was his first offense, Minx. Calm down, darling."

"Why are you justifying him? Mum?!"

"I'm not! I am disgusted by what he did. But the way it all works, it makes sense that he's out, especially knowing who his family is."

"Hm," I shrugged.

"Oh Minx."

Joe sat silently next to me, his arm around me as he just listened my mum and I bicker.

"Do you expect me to forgive him?! Move on and forget it?! Because I can guarantee you, that will not happen."

"Minx, there's no point holding onto it. You know he didn't mean harm."

"F.uck. Mum? Were you there? 'He didn't mean harm,'" I scoffed, "He f.ucking beat Joe up and almost r.aped me. Let alone, I didn't let him in my flat, he broke in."

"Alright, alright. I'm sorry Minx. I think I should go. Congratulations on your book again, Joe," My mum said as she got up.

"Thank you. I'll walk you out," Joe nodded as he got up.

Joe walked my mum out and locked the door after she left.

"Don't cry Minx," Joe said quietly.

"It's not fair," I shook my head, wiping my tears.

"I know, baby."

"Whatever! It's fine. I don't need to cry about it. We were having a nice evening before my mum came over."

"Exactly, baby," Joe smiled happily.

"Okay!" I smiled, still wiping away the small tears.

"Come here!" Joe smiled.

I stood up and gave him a hug and he gave me a kiss on the forehead.

I bit my lip and smiled up at Joe.

"S.hit," Joe smiled, running his hands through his hair.
