There is no better way to wake up than with Joe, and both of us being naked. I don't know why, but sleeping naked is so exhilarating and it's even better with Joe.

"Morning," Joe said quietly.

He was already awake and laying in bed on his phone.

"Morning," I mumbled, flipping over to lay on my stomach.

I leaned over the edge of the bed and grabbed my clothes, slipping them on under the blanket of the bed.

"I'm going to get some water," Joe said slipping on some pants and going upstairs.

I noticed he stopped in Caspar's room before getting his water. He came back downstairs with a glass of water and sat back down on the bed next to me.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm alright," Joe nodded, drinking his water.

I sat up and gently massaged his back.

"Joe, what's wrong? We were good last night," I said quietly.

"I feel nervous... I don't know why though," Joe shrugged.

"Hm, okay. Well, I love you," I said giving him a kiss on the back of his neck as I continued massaging.

Joe decided to get in the shower, so I went upstairs, peeking in Caspar's room on the way by, as the door was open.

"Morning," I smiled to Caspar as he was laid on his bed, looking at his phone.

"Uh, good morning," Caspar said, still waking up.

He scooted over and motioned for me to sit down next to him. I sat on the edge of the bed.

"Is everything alright with Joe? He was perfectly happy last night and he woke up and said he feels nervous," I asked Caspar.

"Hm, I don't know. He probably just needs to wake up properly."

"Yeah," I nodded.

I pat Caspar playfully on the head before going back to Joe's room.

"Hey, I'm going to head back to my flat so I can get properly cleaned up, okay?" I said to Joe through the bathroom door.

I heard a muffled 'okay' before I headed back to my flat.

Arriving back at my flat, I laid on my cold bed for a few minutes before showering.

I think I am over-analyzing everything. Joe was probably still tired and hadn't woken up properly, like Caspar said. But I feel like something is up. We were 100% okay late night, in fact, we were great last night. Then this morning, I don't know. Why would Joe be nervous?

I put my thoughts to rest for right now and decided to take a long shower. After my shower, I got dressed and did my make-up before doing anything with my hair. My hair is getting too long, I really need to go get it cut, maybe I'll get it cut today. I'll call and see if the salon has any open appointments.

After calling the salon, they had one appointment available but it was in fifteen minutes, so I grabbed my keys and phone and ran out the door.

"Hello! Minx, correct?" The lady said at the front desk.

"Yes," I nodded.

"Okay, well we can actually take you now. Have a seat here," She said as I followed her back to the salon.

She introduced me to the man, Drew, that would be cutting my hair.

"So what do you want done with your hair today?" Drew smiled.

"Well, it's too long for my liking, so instead of like waist-length, maybe like this short?" I said pointing right under my chest.

"Yeah, I was going to suggest that! It'd be super cute! Do you want long layers?" Drew asked happily.

"Um, whatever you think would look best! I'm putting my trust in you!" I laughed.

"Awesome!" Drew smiled as he sprayed my hair to dampen it.

He cut it to where I wanted and styled it. I loved it!

"Thank you so much!" I smiled.

"You like it?" He smiled, putting down the hair-dryer.

"I love it!" I smiled.

I gave him a hug before paying and leaving. I was walking out of the salon when Joe called me.

"Hi," I answered.

"Hey Minxie, um, I want to go out with you tonight, yeah?" Joe said meekly.

"Like a date?" I smiled, "Yeah, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm good. Okay, well I'll pick you up at like 7 tonight," Joe said, he was walking and sounded like he was outside.

"Where are you?" I asked curiously.

"I had to- uhm- run some errands," Joe said quickly, "I have to go, see you later."

"Okay, love you," I said as Joe quickly hung up.

Well, he's still acting weird, but atleast he wants to go out tonight together. Hm, maybe I should call Zoe and see if she knows what's up with Joe.

"Hey Minxie!" Zoe greeted.

"Hi! How are you?" I smiled as I walked and got in my car.

"Good, you?"

"Um, I'm alright. Have you spoken to Joe recently?"

"Uhm, yeah, kinda."

"Is he alright? This morning he seemed distant. I don't know. Am I just being too clingy?"

"Aw, no, Minxie. Um, he's alright. Don't worry about. You two are fine, I'll talk to you later, love."

"Um, okay, thanks," I said before she hung-up.

What's with everyone? I feel like they all know something I don't, and to be honest, it's making me quite worried. Maybe I'll straight up ask Joe this evening when we go for dinner.

I slowly drove back to my flat and sat in the car for a few minutes after I had parked. I was lost in thought and confusion. Making my way into my flat, I decided to look on Joe's twitter to see if he's posted anything.

His most recent post was just a smiley face, with a colon and a 'D.'

Alright.

Why am I so nervous about this date with Joe? We've been on a bunch of dates before, but this feels different, and I'm not sure why.

I put on a bodycon dress, one that I had worn when we first went clubbing together, but I put a jacket on to make it more classy rather than for a club atmosphere.

I left my hair how Drew had styled it and put on some more make-up, but I kept it natural.

I heard Joe knock on the door and went to get it.

"Hi," Joe smiled as I opened the door.

"Hi," I smiled, looking to the ground.

"You got your hair cut?!" Joe asked as he came in.

"Oh, yeah," I nodded.

"I really like it."

"Thanks," I smiled.

"Should we get going?" Joe smiled.

"Yeah."

I locked my door and Joe held my hand as we walked down to his car.

"Are you okay?" Joe asked.

"Um, yeah, I'm excited," I nodded.

"Me too," Joe grinned, putting his hand on my thigh as he drove.

We pulled up at a restaurant and got out. Joe held my hand as we walked in and until we were seated.

"Why are you so quiet today?" I asked Joe, "Have I done something wrong?"

"I'm sorry, I've just been really busy, you haven't done anything wrong, Minxie."

"Okay," I nodded, holding his hand across the table.

We had dinner and the conversation was still nice, but something still seemed to be bothering Joe.

"I'm going to go to the toilet really quick," Joe said quietly, getting up.

"Ok," I said quietly.

I am so confused. Just yesterday, we were perfect! But since this morning, everything has been different with everyone and I don't know why.
