06:53, 13 August 2015Being in Miami has been great. Not only have Joe and I gotten closer, but we've relaxed, and just had a care-free time.
"I can't believe we leave tomorrow," I huffed.
"I know," Joe shrugged, "This week has flown by."
Joe just finished uploading his YouTube video and was shutting down his computer.
"It's been fun though," I smiled.
"Definitely," Joe nodded, giving me a kiss.
As much as I have enjoyed Miami, I am excited to get home and tell my mum about everything, well, some things I'll leave out. Also, once we get back, I am soon planning on moving out of James' house and getting my own flat. I finally feel like everything in my life is falling into place, cheesy, I know.
Anyway, at first, I was a bit afraid to post pictures on Instagram, or social media, of Joe and I, but Joe told me not to worry. So I have been able to post pictures of us on this trip together, resulting in me suddenly gaining loads of followers rapidly.
Comments flooding in asking, 'Are you and Joe dating?' 'Stay away from Joe!' and, of course, there are some positive ones as well.
"Sorry," Joe said, looking over my shoulder as I scrolled on my Instagram.
"It's okay," I shrugged, "Most of the comments are just asking if we're together."
"Well we'll have to post a picture to announce it," Joe laughed.
We decided to walk down to the beach for a bit before sunset.
"Um, excuse me, will you take a picture for us," Joe asked a young man, walking his dog.
"Sure!" He nodded, taking Joe's phone for the picture.
Joe pulled me next to him for a picture. We took one smiling cheesily.
"One more, please," Joe said.
"Yeah, no problem," The guy smiled.
Joe pulled me in for a kiss when the guy snapped the picture.
"Joe!" I laughed.
"Thank you," Joe said to him.
"No problem," He nodded, before continuing to walk his dog.
We walked along the beach for awhile, taking in all of the beauty and peacefulness.
My phone started ringing in my bag. It is my mum.
"Hi," I answered the phone.
"Hello honey. I just wanted to make sure you are both okay, and prepared for your flight tomorrow?"
"Yes, don't worry Mum," I laughed.
"Okay, just checking. So, how has it been?" My mum carried on the conversation.
"It's great. Thank you again," I smiled into the phone.
Joe took a hold one of my hands as we walked along the shore.
"I'm glad you're having fun," My mum said happily.
"Thanks Mum, but I'll tell you more when we get back. See you later," I said before we both said good-byes and hung up.
"Your mum loves to chat, huh?" Joe smirked.
"Yes, it takes forever to get her off the phone," I laughed.
"Your relationship with each other is awesome though," Joe smiled.
"Yeah, in some ways, she's always been more of a overprotective friend," I smiled.
Joe wrapped his arm around me, kissing my forehead. We decided to turn around and walk back towards the hotel and find somewhere to eat.

"Flight 802A to Heathrow has been delayed, please watch the flight information boards for updates," A voice over the intercom at our gate said.
"Great," I groaned.
"Typical," Joe shook his head.
All the seats by our gate were taken and we didn't want to wander too far from our gate because the plane could be here at any time. So we decided to sit of the ground by the window-walls and wait, and watch, for the plane.
"Hey, is it alright with you if I post that picture of us on the beach yesterday?" Joe asked.
"Sure," I shrugged.
I got Joe's attention and we took a selfie with the window in the background, showing the outside of the airport, the runways and some planes.
"Cute," I laughed at our funny faces we pulled, "I'm going to post this one."
"Oh God," Joe laughed.
We both edited and posted our pictures, uploading them onto social media.
I leaned my head on Joe's shoulder and watched him as he looked on his phone.
"What's the male version of a cougar?" Joe asked.
"What? A cougar."
"No, like older girls liking younger guys is a cougar. But is there a guy version?"
"I don't know. I'll google it."
After googling it, the first result to pop up was an urban dictionary link, saying Manther.
"A manther," I said, "Why?"
"I feel like one," Joe laughed.
"With me?"
"Well, duh," Joe laughed.
"You're not even three years older than me!" I laughed.
"I know that, but I've only dated girls my age," Joe laughed.
"Am I not good enough then?" I playfully pouted.
"Well, you're the best so far, so what does that say?" Joe smiled.
"Good," I joked.
"I just feel old."
"Well, you are," I teased.
"Oh my God!" Joe laughed.
"Just kidding. Love you," I smiled.
"It's a good thing I love you too," Joe smirked, giving me a small kiss.
Once the plane finally arrived, we boarded and settled down for the long flight ahead of us. After lift-off, I got up to use the toilet in the back of the plane.
"You okay?" Joe asked as I returned to my seat.
"Yeah, perfectly fine," I smiled.
"Good," Joe smiled.
I was sat on the aisle seat and Joe to the left of me, then an older man on the other side of Joe. He was asleep for most of the flight though, although he was friendly.
"Are you two married?" The elder man asked us.
"Oh, no!" I laughed, "I just turned twenty! Too young!"
"Well kids these days, they do everything quite young," He chuckled.
"That's true, I guess," Joe nodded.
"Just always make sure you have each other. People can be unreliable. Just stick together," The man nodded.
"For sure," Joe smiled, "I'm Joe by the way."
"I'm Minx."
"Joe and Minx. I'm Charlie," He nodded, pushing a strand of his gelled-back white hair, out of his face, "But I was married to my wife, Genoevfa, for fifty-seven years, until she passed this last year."
"I'm sorry," I said quietly.
"No, no, she's in a better place now. But that's not my point, when we first got married, neither of our families wanted us to get married, and then there were times during our relationship where we felt all alone. People can be cruel, just keep a smart and wise head on you shoulders and go with your gut. Having someone by your side only helps that," He continued, "You're together, right?"
"Yeah," Joe nodded.
"Just be good to each other, it'll all work out," Charlie advised us.
"Thanks," Joe smiled, putting his hand on my thigh.
The flight dragged on for a long while, of course because we were stuck in the same small seats for nine and a half hours.
"It was nice talking to you," I smiled to Charlie as the flight landed and we started getting off.
"Ditto. Just remember what I mentioned," He nodded as we got off the plane.
We parted ways and Joe and I went to the baggage claim, hand-in-hand.
