This afternoon I am meeting up with Joe and his friends/ sister. To be honest, I am excited. Maybe a bit too excited? Ah, I don't know.

Anyway, I decided to jump in the shower and wear my hair naturally instead of straightening whatever little waves there are in my hair. I slipped on a t-shirt crop top and skinny jeans. I also put on a little bit of mascara and powder. Putting my hair in a half-up bun and the rest down hairstyle, I also slipped on shoes. I glanced at my phone and noticed I was running a bit late. I had gotten caught up in the last episode I had been watching of America's Big Brother.

I hopped in my car and drove down to the address Joe gave me, following the voice from Google Maps on my phone. Finally, I arrived at some flats and found my way to their flat number.

"Minx!" Caspar said loudly as he opened the door, "Joe hasn't stopped talking about texting you, but shh," Caspar whispered as I came in.

"Oh my," I laughed.

"Joe! Minx is here!" Caspar yelled.

Joe came running upstairs.

"Hey Minx!" Joe smiled. "Hi!" I said giving him a hug.

"Minx, this is my sister, Zoe, and her boyfriend, Alfie," Joe introduced us all.

Zoe gave me a hug and held small talk and Alfie shook my hand. Zoe lead me over to the couches and we settled down and started talking. Joe sat down next to me and joined our conversation about the internet.

"So, Zoe, are you a YouTuber too?" I asked.

"Yeah, we all are. Caspar's account is DiCasp. Alfie is PointlessBlog, and Joe's is ThatcherJoe. Mine is Zoella!" Zoe smiled.

"Well, actually Zoe, yours is Zoella28039," Joe laughed.

"Ha ha ha! You're so funny, aren't you!" Zoe laughed jokingly sarcastically at Joe.

I laughed at Zoe's sarcasm and we continued talking about YouTube.

"I've only watched YouTube a couple times before. I had no idea people make an income out of posting videos on there. That's awesome!" I said.

"Wanna watch a YouTube video one of us did?" Zoe asked.

"I'd love to!"

After trying to decide whose video to watch, they decided they would put on one of each of theirs. Zoe would pick the one for Alfie and vis versa. Caspar would pick the one we will watch from Joe's channel and vis versa again. Zoe chose first.

Zoe chose Alfie's video entitled "Who is My YouTube Girlfriend?" It was pretty funny. Then Alfie chose for Zoe and we watched "Best Friend VS Boyfriend." Then it was Joe's turn to choose for Caspar and we watched "My First Single ft. Connor Maynard." Finally Caspar chose for Joe and we watched "How To Be Like Kim Kardashian," where he made a total fool of himself, but it was hilarious.

"Oh my gosh! I love it!" I laughed.

We all talked some more, about YouTube and just chatted for a while. Before long, it had gotten late, so I decided I should probably leave soon.

"This was awesome, thanks for having me," I smiled as I got ready to leave.

"I'll walk you down to your car," Joe offered.

I nodded before giving Zoe, Alfie, and Caspar a hug each and thanking them again. We all quickly exchanged numbers to keep in touch. Then, Joe walked me down to where my car was.

"Thanks for having me again," I smiled to Joe.

"Thanks for coming," Joe smiled, pushing his hair back with his hands.

"We'll have to meet up again," I smiled as we got to my car.

"Of course! Maybe dinner?" Joe asked, I could tell he was a bit nervous.

"That sounds fun. You can always text or call me," I smiled, "I'd better get going."

"Alright, drive safe and text me when you get home so I know you're okay," Joe said in a genuine tone.

I nodded my head and gave Joe a hug before getting in the car and driving away. I got home about 15 minutes later and texted Joe as I got out of the car.

"Just got home. Thanks for an awesome evening! X."

I looked at the time and it was just past midnight. I quietly made my way in and into my room. My mum and James must have already gone to bed, not surprising based on the time.

I took off my minimal make-up and got changed into my pajamas, of which consisted of one of my dad's large t-shirts I stole a while back, before we moved in with James.

That reminds me, I should call my dad tomorrow and see how he is. I know he didn't take the divorce, or us moving out, very well.

Anyway, I got into bed, glancing at my phone before going to sleep.

"Glad to hear. Goodnight Minx, x."

I smiled with his reply and fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up and made my way downstairs to find my mum and James making breakfast.

"Morning sleepy head," My mum greeted, "When did you get home last night?"

"Just past 12," I said taking a piece of toast.

"Your mum and I are going to go away next weekend. You can come with, bring a friend? Or stay here? Your choice," James explained.

"I think I'll stay here, but I'll let you know," I nodded.

"Cool, thank you," James smiled.

My mum gave him a kiss on the cheek and I went back upstairs to get dressed. I glanced at my phone and noticed it was almost 11 o'clock already. James and my mum must've slept in too. I got dressed into different lounge clothes and sat on my bed with my laptop and went on Tumblr.

"Dinner tonight? X," My phone buzzed from Joe.

"Yeah!" I texted back.

We made plans and he planned to pick me up around 6:30 this evening. I am very excited to get to know him more, and I am under the impression that it is just us two, but I'm not 100% sure.

"Do I dress fancy or casual?" I texted Joe.

"In between, xx."

I went downstairs and my mom was sat outside my the pool. It was sunny outside and was quite warm.

"Hi Mum," I smiled joining her, sitting down next to her.

"Hi Minx, honey," My mum smiled, putting down the book she was reading.

"It's okay if I go out this evening again, right?" I asked.

"Of course, who with?"

"This guy, whose flat I went to last night. His name is Joe and I met his flatmate, Caspar, his sister, Zoe, and Zoe's boyfriend, Alfie. They're all YouTubers," I explained.

"Ou, do you fancy him?" My mum asked.

We've always been close enough to openly discuss things like this.

"I'm not too sure, I mean he is quite attractive, but, I just don't know where he stands, and we've just met a couple days ago," I explained.

"Does he fancy you?"

"I kinda think so, or that's what Caspar implies. But I don't know, we're going out for dinner tonight, so, yeah."

"Just go in with an open mind honey. And when you mentioned that you've only known him for a couple days, that's okay. There is no need to rush anything, if there is anything between you two. But at the same time, don't necessarily take it slow if it doesn't feel right. Just go with the flow," My mum smiled, laughing at her last comment.

"Yeah," I nodded in agreement.

"I mean, of course, don't let him pressure you into anything, but if like him, don't be bothered by 'the time you've known him,'" My mum explained.

I thanked my mum for her 'wise words' before letting her resume reading and I returned inside and went to my room.
