Chapter 18 - Class 1-A Tea Time Messages

The night grew quiet across the U.A. dorms as the stars glowed softly outside. After dinner, everyone had pitched in to clean up the kitchen. The sound of clinking dishes, running water, and laughter slowly faded away as one by one, everyone headed back to their rooms. Yuuki hummed softly to herself as she padded down the hall. She still felt warm from all the laughter at dinner, and despite the teasing about Bakugo, she couldn't stop smiling a little.

When she got to her room, she opened her drawer and pulled out her favorite pajamas — a pair of soft, bunny-print ones. They were technically kids' size, but they fit her perfectly. The fabric was plush and cozy, and the little bunny faces made her feel safe and comforted. She slipped them on, brushed her hair, and crawled into bed, snuggling her teddy bear close to her chest.

Her eyes grew heavy as she yawned, her lashes fluttering. Within minutes, she drifted off to sleep, the gentle rise and fall of her breathing the only sound in her quiet little room. Her teddy bear was tucked tightly in her arms, and the faint moonlight made her look peaceful — completely unaware that, in another part of the dorms, her classmates were talking about her.

In another chat window, a group text was blowing up. The screen glowed in the dark as Mina 💖 spammed the group with messages. The chat name was "Class 1-A Tea Time ☕️ (No Yuuki!!)"

Mina 💖: Okay, we NEED to talk about what happened at dinner 😭😭😭

Uraraka 🌸: You mean when Bakugo wiped food off Yuuki's face?! 😳💗

Jirou 🎸: Yeah, I almost dropped my drink. That was... unexpected.

Mina 💖: Okay, but seriously, what if we came up with a plan to get Bakugo to CONFESS already 😭😭😭

From the other side of the dorm hall, a muffled yell echoed, followed by a BANG! as if something exploded into smoke. Everyone in the chat paused.

Kirishima 🧱: Uh... dude, we can actually hear you yelling from here 😳

Mina 💖: Yeah, Bakugo, keep it down!! You'll wake up Yuuki 😰💗

Uraraka 🌸: Shhh! Poor Yuuki's probably dreaming about bunnies or something, don't scare her! 🐰

Bakugo 💥: SHE'S FINE! SHE SLEEPS LIKE A DAMN BABY. NOTHING'S GONNA WAKE HER UP.

Todoroki 🧊🔥: You seem to know a lot about how she sleeps.

Midoriya 💚: E-Everyone, maybe we should calm down. We don't want Aizawa-sensei to check on us if he hears all the noise...

There was another thud from Bakugo's room—probably his fist slamming against the wall—and the chat went quiet for a second before Mina sent another message.

Mina 💖: Soooo... back to our plan 👀 What if we plan something cute for Yuuki and Bakugo? Like a little study "date" setup again. Maybe with snacks and candles 😍

Uraraka 🌸: Or movie night! She gets scared, so Bakugo would totally protect her 🥺💕

They could practically hear him yelling through the dorm walls again.

Bakugo 💥: LIKE I SAID SHE'S FINE, DAMMIT. SHE'S PROBABLY DROOLING ON HER STUFFED ANIMAL RIGHT NOW.

Everyone froze for a second.

Kaminari ⚡️: ...wait, how do you know that, bro? 😳

Bakugo 💥: I—!! I MEAN—SHE HAS IT ALL THE TIME, IDIOTS! I'M NOT WATCHING HER SLEEP OR ANYTHING!

Mina 💖: LMAOOO BUSTED 🤣💖

Kirishima 🧱: Dude, you're so red right now I can feel it through the phone 🔥😂

Bakugo 💥: SHUT UP! I'M DONE WITH THIS CHAT! YOU'RE ALL USELESS!

He left the chat for exactly ten seconds before Mina re-added him.

Mina 💖: You can't escape true love 😘

Bakugo 💥: I'M GOING TO—

Midoriya 💚: U-Um, guys? 😅 It's getting really late... maybe we should all get some rest. We've got combat training tomorrow.

Uraraka 🌸: Oh right... I totally forgot 😭

Todoroki 🧊🔥: It's 12:46. Sleep.

Mina 💖: Fineee 😴 but this conversation isn't over!!

Bakugo didn't respond to that one. Instead, he tossed his phone onto his pillow and leaned back with a quiet huff. The dorms finally went silent, save for the faint hum of the city outside.

Down the hall, Yuuki stirred softly in her sleep, hugging her teddy bear tighter, completely unaware of the chaos she had inspired among her friends — and especially one very red-faced, very frustrated Bakugo Katsuki.
