Chapter 25

They all reached home on thier private plane and athy went to her room exhausted as well as others.. Helena went back to her home and cabel went to his room in which he used to stay with lucas, now alone since lucas stays in athy's.

Lucas was about to enter the room but claude dragged him out .

" what's it uncle..?" he asked as he, claude, felix and cabel who is half asleep but forced to come out of the room  are now taking a walk along the seashore..

" you.. Don't stay in the same room with my daughter.. I only allowed you to date her not to sleep together" he said and lucas stared at him dumbfounded

"but we already did" he said nonchalantly which made everyone stop walking and cabel who is half asleep. Until then  flinched  hearing him and felix gulped down staring at lucas and claude

"what did you said just now.?" claude asked his voice is stern and they got chills from his glare more than the winter breeze ..

"no.. Nothing uncle.. He is just exhausted.. Don't worry I will keep him in our room.. He won't go to athy's room at night rest assured "

cabel said clinging to lucas 's arm and lucas stared at him annoyed. He pushed cabel away and stared at claude irritated and they both  are having a staring contest  .. Felix and cabel stared at them in fear of  what if they starts a fight..but suddenly to their surprise lucas  started whining to him like a five years old whivh made them shocked  and they giggled at the same time

" uncle.. Why are you being like this... We are dating for so long and I stayed with her all this while why am I suddenly not allowed to..?" he asked following claude who is walking ahead

" now that I am here.. You can't" he said and lucas clinged to his arm ..

" why am I not allowed...?" he whined

" because you guys are not married" he said

"then let me marry her" lucas said which made  the three stare at him surprised

"what..?" claude asked halting at him but lucas looked so calm and his eyes showed determination

" I am gonna marry her one day anyways.. So let me marry her quickly so that I can stay with her that's  all I want" he said and claude stared at him with a blank face

" no" he said and the other three sighed  in frustration

"uncle.. Please.. I can't live without sia... Why are you tormenting me with so  many rules Seriously..?! "

lucas whined frsutarted and he went silent when he saw claude's eyes

" I won't come in between you two" lucas said and claude's eyes wided in surprise

" uncle.. I know what you have been worried about but that won't happen.. It's true I love her so much that I can't live without her and I know that's the same for you.. So I won't come in between you and your daughter.. Even if I marry her, she will always be your daughter. who am I to snatch her away from you..? So you can be rest assured.. She is and always will be your daughter before she is my wife "

he said.. Claude looked into his eyes which is showing his honesty and he slowly smiled at him

" so.. Just say yes OK..?hmm.?please uncle you know what.. I never once pleaded to anyone you are the first "

he said and felix giggled happily.. He kept whining to claude and he stopped walking and turned towards lucas and sighed

" only if my daughter accepts.. You can marry her. But don't you dare go back in your words.. She is always my daughter "he said and lucas smiled so bright as if moon landed on the shore.. So bright and happy

" uncle.. Don't fathers always say something like.. If you hurt my daughter, you are dead.. Something like that..?! Tch, I thought you would say something similar "he said as they walked back to home

" why should I? When I know you won't "Claude mumbled and lucas smiled proudly .

" yeah. You should know how much of a good guy your future son in law is.. I am not usually this kind to everyone you know.. " he said smikring and claude sighed like  he is done with lucas

Felix and cabel walked behind them smiling staring at them.

"I can't believe uncle accepted for marriage" cabel said

" what lucas said is exactly what scaring claude..i was more surprised by how lucas and claude got so close in a short time . It's not easy to understand claude like lucas do" felix said smiling happily

"it's because they both have so many similarities.. Lucas can easily understand him in my opinion" cabel said and they smiled at each other

When they all went back home athy is already asleep they all went to their own rooms... Claude made sure lucas went to his room with cabel and then sit on the couch in the corridor doing his work as he already planned on pulling an all nighter

Athy heared tapping sound on her balcony door and when she opened her eyes she saw someone's shadow through the glass door.. She walked slowly and carefully and she sighed in relief when  she heard his voice

"sia... It's me. Lucas"

he said in a low voice. She swiftly opened the door to get tackled with a kiss from him.. They walked back into her room kissing she tapped his shoulder as she is out of air to breathe and panted looking up at him.

" you scared me. Idiot.. Why are sneaking Inside when the door is  right in front of your room..?" she asked and he sighed

"it's all because of your dad.. He added another rule in the list.. I shouldn't enter your room at night time" he said with a frustrated face and athy cupped his face caressing it..

" I will ask sorry instead of dad.. Don't be mad OK.?"

she said smiling and he smiled back as he leaned for another kiss.. As their kiss got Intense.. Lucas felt something hitting his back and parted from the kiss.. They both looked down to see a small stone... Lucas walked to the balcony and looked down to see cabel waving his hand telling him to come down..

" pfft..you came above using the ladder...?"

athy asked as she aslo looked down standing beside him. Lucas climbed upon the railing and placed both his legs on the first step of ladder as athy is holding his hands

"careful lucas.. Don't try to  sneak  in again .. What if you fall..?" she asked worried and he smirked as he pulled her closer and give her a peck on the cheek

" don't you know I am a pro at sneaking.. Remember..? That's how we met first" he whispered in her ear and smiled before climbing down the ladder.. She stood there watching him getting down with a small blush smiling

"you idiot.. Let's run to  our room.. I think uncle just came down.. See the light in  the kitchen is on , you will be the death of me man .. I am frustrated standing here and you are so cool having a moment with your girlfriend "

cabel nagged him as they both ran inside the house without anyone knowing

Athy went back and sit on her bed looking dazed.. Memories of their first meet started flashing before her eyes.. How she got mesmerised by those deep Red orbs even though she is scared.. How she had crazy ideas about lucas 's identity, how handsome he looked even in the dark...

' at that time I had no idea that  stranger who sneaked into my house will become one of the most important person in my life.. Lucas.. Sneaked into my heart which is full of scars and fears and he healed me without myself knowing, become my strength and my weakness at the same time he is the light of my life.. The one who lit up my dark world and made me want to live again.. Haah.. Why did he come and made me miss him more..?! Dad is also being so strict on him.. '

She thought as she hugged the pillow thinking about lucas as she fell asleep Again .

. . . "lucas.. What are you thinking about so deeply..?"

cable asked as he nudged him making lucas came out of his daze...

" proposal" lucas mumbled as he got up with a smile

" so you got an idea.?" cabel asked smiling as he followed him..

" yep.." lucas said smiling..

Athy was in her house garden sitting leisurely on the swing  amidst the flowers reading her favourite book with a smile..

" mam.. There is delivery for you... " she heard a voice and stood up placing  her book down and walked to the gate.. A guy handed her a box and went back in lightning speed.

"what's going on..?"

she mumbled standing  there dumbfounded. She shook  that box and there is something inside. She walked back to her swing  and started unpacking it.. Her eyes glittered with stars in it.. It's a new book yet to be released in a novel series of her favourite author.. She took it out of the box and opened it and smiled happily as she skimmed through pages.. Her eyes wide  in surprise as she stopped at a certain page and gasped..

The pages after that  were teared in the middle to a square shape  and there is a ring inside it.. She smiled as she recognize his handwriting.. It's written

Sia will you marry me.?

All the lines in that page are highlighted and she giggled with tears in her eyes as she remembered reading them out to him when a sneeo pek of the book is released

" so you want to read this book with these cheesy lines..?"

"tch.. What cheesy..? These lines are beautiful aren't they..? The male lead confessed his love for the female lead so beautifully and you call them cheesy" she said pouting and he giggled poking her cheek..

"they really are cheesy sia, but it seem less cheesy since it's written, imagine telling them in person.. If it were me, I would die of cringe" he said

"pfft.. He said he would die  of cringe if he said these lines.." she mumbled..

Athy's P. O. V..

"hmm.. But I highlighted them since you liked them...and I am saying them out loud "

I heard his voice and looked up to see lucas is  in front of me on his knees.. He gently grabbed my both hands and caressed them..

" lucas.." my lips mumbled his name on its own

" so... My answer..?" lucas asked tilting his head gently smiling..

My heart thumped faster.. This damn smile... It always make my heart flutter.. This smile is so precious to me cause it lucas 's, the guy who never show any emotions and always have a blank face for everyone but always stare at me with love in his eyes that damn beautiful smile how could my heart be calm.?.

Marraige... Of course if I have to marry someone it would definitely be lucas.. I never thought he would propose to me this soon..?!! Pfft.. He must have got restless after dad started being so hard on him.

He stared at me with puppy eyes waiting for my answer.. His eyes are filled with love.. I have been getting reminded of past days for some time just  Like now.. Our moments together flashed before my eyes..how his face slowly changed from blank to expressive only for me .. How his eyes are getting filled with love for me more as days are going... How he used to and still do hold my hand while walking, be protective of me.. How he always came at the right time  and be my warm blanket in cold winter days..

"Lucas.. You are the best thing ever happened to me after my parents and you have no idea how much I cherish every second I spent with you.. What do you think I will Say other than yes" I said and he stared at me with so many  emotions in his eyes.. As I was staring at him he leaned closer and kissed me on the lips..

It's not our first kiss still..it feels like it's the first.. Not only now but every single time.. That soft and gentle kiss feel so good that I felt like floating.. We parted from the kiss panting.. He smiled so brightly as he lifted me up from the ground.. Then only I realised we stood up while Kissing.. He swirled me around happily and I giggled as he slowly let me down but my feets are still on air... He held me to his eyes level and kissed my forehead..

"Thanks sia.. I promise I will never let you down.. Whenever we have a fight I will ask sorry first.. I won't do anything which hurt you to the slightest and I will protect you with everything I have and make sure you keep this damn beautiful smile with you forever.. "

he said and I smiled while tears of happiness dribbling  down my cheeks..

" Hmm.. Let's get married and stay together until death part us.. I love you lucas "

I said smiling and he smiled bright as he leaned closer our foreheads touched

" I love you more sia" he said smiling..

"I know.. but you... Why..?

" wait.. I know what you are  gonna say.. "lucas said interrupting me and walked to the side letting me down  and came with something in his hand

" here.. I won't dare to Tear even a small  Piece of paper from your books.. Just let me go this one time... Please.. "he said with puppy eyes as he handed me the copy of the same book..

" you escaped this time... Still next time.. "

" I said there will be no next time.. Open it " he said and I gasped as I opened the first page..

It was written by my favourite author with her own hands even with her signature.

"oh my God..!! How did you get this..?!!" I asked surprised and he smirked

"of course I went all the way to meet her and bought this from her and did you read the last line she wrote..?  he said  with his proud smug face.. This guy..

" pfft.. Yeah yeah. I already know I have a great boyfriend. Thanks lucas.. "I said and give him a peck on his cheek and he smiled happily . . .

I told dad lucas proposed me only to get surprised that lucas got his permission first before proposing and after that day I noticed how dad acted a bit more friendly with lucas.. They two even arranged  everything for the  marraige together .. Helena  and lily are so happy that I am getting married soon and she dragged me for a tiring day full of shopping.. Dad looked almost teared up after seeing me in the wedding dress in trial room.. Lucas didn't come saying he wants it to be surprise for him on wedding day..we invited gabriel grandpa and rosy granny to our wedding and they are more than happy to come...

I asked whether he wants to invite his foster  father.. He just nonchalantly said  he will just sent an invitation it's his wish whether he wants to come or not.. And so we did.. He suddenly called me and I was so nervous while talking to him but he talked gently which surprised me.. Lucas told me he won't be harsh on ladies  I think that's true.. He told me He will come to the wedding too.. To which lucas isn't that happy still he let it go as he don't get  bothered  by him...

Soon our wedding  day came ... I woke up before the sun rises and my whole family is busy getting ready.. I wanted our wedding to be simple and intimate..

We prepared a wedding hall near the beach.. The same spot where I first told lucas about my past.. Now I am gonna  walk  on aisle to marry him at the same spot .. I already put on my wedding dress and the makeup artist is done  with makeup... Lily literally cried  after seeing me in bridal dress so as helena and her mother.. They all are so emotional today which made me emotional too..

I Sat in front of the dressing table staring at my reflection in the mirror.. I opened my bag and took out a small framed photo of me and mom..

If only mom is alive she would have turned the world upside down.. She would have been the whole mood setting everyone's heart with  happiness.. I Caressed Her face which is so beautiful just like Her heart.. Her eyes overwhelmed with love..

I miss you So Much mom... I am sorry that I am getting married without you but you are watching me from above right..?

When I was staring at the picture I felt someone standing and turned to see dad staring at me with so many emotions in his eyes which stirred something in my Heart.. Dad won't talk much but he too must  be so sad right now.. I. Stood up and smiled at him as I reached and give him a hug.. He slowly hugged me back and caressed my back..

"I am sorry athy.." he Mumbled which made my Heart heavy.. I parted from the hug and smiled at him.

"dad.. You promised me you won't  say sorry anymore... I know you too miss mom why are you asking sorry..?.. Dad.. Mom must be watching us from Above right..?  Still.. Can we hold her picture while walking down the aisle...?"

I asked and he smiled nodding a yes as he leaned and kissed my forehead.

" you look beautiful my daughter " he said and I felt like crying..

" daddy.. "I hugged him again and he patted my head

" daddy.. I love you... I Will Always be your athy even if I get married... We will stay together forever.. OK..? "

I said cupping his face and he nodded a yes smiling... Like I asked we walked down the aisle with mom 's picture and lucas is standing there looking dazzling in his tuxedo and staring at me as if I am his whole world.. He smiled brightly which made my heart filled with warmth...

Dad stood on the sides holding  Mom's photo while we are taking the  marriage vows.. Then we kissed..

Lucas P. O. V.

" Lucas.. I don't know when you sneaked into my heart and made an  irreplaceable place for you there ..  thanks for coming into my life as my Light and lit up my whole world.." she said and smiled bright...

I felt my whole world getting brighter.. She looked so ethereal in her wedding dress and I already can't take my eyes off her and  now she is making  my heart go crazy..who in their right mind won't fall for you  sia..?

" I should be the one thanking you for coming in  to my life and for becoming my world.. Sia.. I just wish to stay by your side, make you happy and see this goddamn beautiful smile on  your face for all my life.. I love you my wifey ." I said and she got teared up..

" I love you more my husband  " she said and hugged me..

" now now.. You two love birds.. Come here.. Let's take a group photo.. You guys continue your lovey dovey  moments when you  go for honeymoon.. "

cabel shouted and we turned  to see our whole family waiting for us smiling..we giggled as we joined them...God thank you for sending an angel to be my wife..
