Taehyung waited in front of his office building after work. He lit his cigarette while resting his back to the wall. After about fifteen minutes, he looked at someone and stood up straight while throwing away his cigarette to the trash.

"Here." Hoseok handed him a piece of paper.

50 Bridge Park Dr, Brooklyn, NY 11201, United States

"He lived on the top floors, he had a penthouse in there." Hoseok said. Taehyung ordered Hoseok to find information about Fai Khadra, Jennie's former partner when she took over a case about drug dealers involving a hundred big jewelry company's employees.

Hoseok not only found out about his home address but he found complete information about him and his family. Taehyung is ready to make this guy won't touch his family especially because of those threats that make Jennie frustrated.

Him and Hoseok drive to Brooklyn immediately, but when Hoseok drives them, Taehyung receives a call from someone. It's his wife.

"Hello, princess." He tries to be cheerful as he gets to not make Jennie feel suspicious.

"Where are you? Yoongi oppa said you're already gone from the office. I was thinking of taking Archie for groceries to make a steak dinner for us, and I'm about to ask you to pick me up or accompany us." Jennie said.

Taehyung looked at Hoseok. Worst part is he didn't prepare a lie to tell Jennie in the first place, so now he is stuck looking for an excuse.

"I'm with my old friend from the bar I invested, Hoseok. He wants me to look for a new bar in Brooklyn if I am interested in investing in it too." Half of his story isn't a lie. He is going to Brooklyn, and he is literally with Hoseok right now.

Jennie can't tell that Taehyung is lying so she just casually replies. "But, you already invested four bars, baby. Isn't it already too much?"

"Yeah, I'm about to cancel my contract at one of my bars, I was looking for a replacement in another suburb. I try to look for a different environment." Okay, he's a good lawyer so he can smoothly continue his lies. Although, he finds it hard to make a main lie for starters.

"Do not stay long in there, okay? Just please come home before dinner, I want to have dinner with you." Jennie pleaded from the other line to make Taehyung chuckle. "Okay, princess. I will see you soon, love you." He said.

"So, she didn't find you were lying?", "I hope so. I just couldn't make her involved in this. She should pay attention just for our baby." He explained.

They arrived in Brooklyn Heights where his penthouse was located. It's a pretty luxurious building. There's a soccer field on the edge of the river. The penthouse itself has the best view of brooklyn bridge, liberty statue and new york buildings view. It's the best view of a building he had ever seen.

They go immediately to the top floor. Hoseok just bribed the security to let them in, and they were already in the entrance area when the elevator opened. But, what is even more surprising is, there's Fai waiting for them. He already knew will be coming at him.

He held a cigarette in his hand and scotch on his other hand. "Should I pour you one?" Fai walked to the living room and Taehyung followed.

Once they arrived, Taehyung wouldn't lie that he was so surprised with the view of his penthouse. There's a soccer field in the middle of the river, a liberty statue on the left and on the right there's a New York city view with skyscrapers and brooklyn bridge view. He wished to move here. Maybe get rid of this bastard first then move in here.

"You owe me an explanation, Fai." Taehyung said while he and Hoseok were just staring at him sitting on his couch.

"Oh, already on the first name basis I see. And, what do you mean? I just got here enjoying my freedom."

"Yeah, by threatening my family." Taehyung replied immediately. "I don't know what you mean, Taehyung. I haven't been involved with Jennie for months."

"Oh, is that so? How about I don't get involved in your twin sister's scandal just an hour ago." Hoseok, who stood beside Taehyung, walked towards Fai and handed him his iPad containing a news story recently out this hour.

Fai seems surprised when Taehyung knows he has twin sisters. He grabbed the iPad and read the news.

BREAKING NEWS: Simihaze sisters involved in animal cruelty from their accessories product. It's made from animal bones.

"Look at their stocks." Fai slide to another screenshot. It's going down and it can keep getting down any moment. Fai is close with his sisters, they travelled to the US together to find an opportunity of a better life.

"And, i can keep going on and on and on. You know what's interesting? How about the scandal that she stab her own best friend to date a singer? Or she get close with many celebrities to get free endorse of their item? Maybe it's not all bad, although it's true, but we can use bad truths with a dark rumor, can't we? Maybe let out the truth about a human trafficking scandal you were involved in and change it into their name? After all, they're more famous than you so people is going to believe it's them. All of your family members can be investigate once more that lead into a jail. . . Again."

Fai stayed silent and instead he put down Hoseok's iPad to his coffee table across from him. "What do you want?"

"Stay away from my family. I can make your sisters hurt too." Taehyung gives him the coldest glare he can ever do to anyone. Fai can notice his dark aura. Although he isn't scared with Jennie, somehow he is scared of what Taehyung can do.

When it's about his sisters, he doesn't want to take a risk. His sisters have already been through enough by tapping into the entertainment industry like they wished. With all of this scandal he is scared his sisters will flip out.

"I can make investors run away from your sisters' business. If you threaten one of us again, I'll make sure you'll be the one who has to support your sister's life and make a dungeon for them to stay on the ground or they will get injured by crazy haters around the US. And yes, I said US, not only New York." He said. And by that, Taehyung left.

Fai stayed in his seat and felt annoyed by Taehyung's threat. He didn't threaten Jennie to actually hurt her but he liked seeing her vulnerable to think it's all real, and she will live an unsafe life for the rest of her life like what he felt in jail. He's a psycho.

Taehyung ends up going straight home. He stopped at the flower shop near their apartment and bought a cake for dessert.

When he gets into their apartment, he hears a giggle coming from the kitchen. He walks to the kitchen and sees Jennie hold Archie on her shoulder and she taps his back. Archie is burping so many times it makes Jennie laugh. She walks back and forth while humming a song, Taehyung thinks Archie just finished having dinner.

"Hey, baby! How's the bar?" Jennie spots Taehyung standing across her daydreaming. He comes to his senses again and looks into her eyes. "Huh? Yeah, I think it's too expensive to invest. It's more expensive than when I once invested in manhattan. Although, he said it's because the bar is located in brooklyn heights and there's so many new modern apartment buildings. I just don't want to take a risk." He tries to make an excuse.

Taehyung approaches them and gives Archie a kiss, but he is startled because Archie suddenly burps in front of his face. Jennie giggled because of his act.

"I just finished breastfeed him, so now he's burping before he has to sleep. It's so funny." Jennie said.

Taehyung caresses his head. "Oh, baby, did mommy's breast milk taste that good? Should I try later?" He smirks while taking a glance at Jennie. She just shook her head.

"By the way, Lisa texted me for brunch tomorrow but I don't want to get to work or even go anywhere., but she insisted." Jennie said.

Taehyung sighs loudly, this is what scared Jennie. She's becoming too much

"What? You're worrying about me being trapped in our apartment, right? I think I should be since I spread news about Simihaze this morning."

By her words, Taehyung put down his fork and looked at Jennie who casually put beans on her plate and his. He clearly didn't see it coming.

"You're surprised, aren't you? So, how's Fai? Did you talk with him to stay away from us? Or maybe threaten him more?" Jennie smirks while looking at him playfully.

"You think I don't know? I know you would do something once you're with Hoseok. Don't you remember you're the one who told me who's Hoseok? Once you mention that name earlier I know you gather information about something, since the recent problem is about CCTV, i bet you're going to Fai's penthouse. I know he lived in Brooklyn Heights, I always went there months ago." Jennie explained.

Taehyung still fazed out from what he just heard. She can detect his lie. Maybe because he stupidly said who Hoseok is. It happened a month ago when Hoseok suddenly invited him for a drink. Jennie asked who is he and Taehyung were just to be honest bluntly. He said Hoseok was the one who tracked Jungkook's stalker a year ago. Hoseok invited him for a drink, because it's been months since Taehyung asked for help. The reason was because Taehyung is happy to continue his life with Jennie. So, Jennie must be connecting the dots.

"So, you're the one who spread the news? That's why Fai already saw it coming? That I would visit him?"

"I think yes, he recognized my warning. Maybe he thought when you came by, we must be plotting against him."

"Jennie, don't do that." Taehyung pleaded. But, Jennie just casually shrugged. "What?"

"Do this by yourself. Let me handle this. You have to focus on Archie, and I will handle the rest."

"Oh, so you mean because I am a woman I should just take care of a baby?" Jennie feels offended. "No! It's not what I meant! Let's share a task, okay? Something is happening right now, we can't be both doing the same things. Who is going to take care Archie when both of us handle the situation? It's like we are going to war and let down our guard on our own territory."

Taehyung tries to get inside her head when in fact what Jennie just thought recently it's true. She's a woman, she can be hurt or kidnapped by this.

Jennie is contemplating for a moment while looking at her steak. But, she eventually gave a deep sigh and spoke. "Okay, you're right. I will let you handle this, but! You should tell me everything that you do."

Taehyung cup her cheek, "Okay, princess."

After that dinner, Taehyung still insists Jennie should go to lunch with Lisa. Her mom is already in New York to take care of him if they're busy.

Jennie goes alone because Lisa said she'll catch up with her. Lisa said she had big news, so she quickly accepted her invitation.

Jennie approaches the hostess. "Hello, reservation for Ms. Manoban?" The hostess nods and leads the way. When she arrived at the table she was confused why there's Jimin, Yoongi, and Taehyung.

"Baby? what are you doing here?" Jennie approaches Taehyung first.

"Oh hi princess, Jungkook invited us for lunch break, he said he got some news so he brought us to an expensive lunch. Why do you know I am here?" Taehyung gave her a peck and asked back make Jennie more confused.

"Uhm, Lisa wants to hangout with me, she said she has big news too." Jennie sat beside him.

Jimin furrowed his eyes. "What? are they getting back together? is that what their news is?" Yoongi shakes his head in disbelief. "I couldn't believe those two, they had already been through enough and suddenly you two moved here to make them back together again."

While they're talking, suddenly Lisa and Jungkook approach their table. "Hi guys, sorry we're late." Jungkook said while letting Lisa sit first.

"We?" Jennie asks. "Yes, unnie." Lisa smiled.

"Okay, order first, talk later." Jungkook suggested. They all browse through the menu and order their food. While they're waiting, Jungkook finally speaks.

"Alright, since we are all here together, I want to say something really big and it's a secret. No one should know about this and we're telling this because you guys are our best friends." Jungkook said and he continued.

"We're getting married."

Four of them froze on their seats. Their mouths stood agape. There's a long silence after Jungkook announced it.

"What? How?"

"Is this a joke?"

"Are you guys serious?"

"You guys are pranking us, aren't you?"

They shoot them with a bunch of questions right away. "Okay guys calm down let me explain." Jungkook cleared his throat while Lisa gritted her teeth nervously.

"Last week i got into an accident after me and Jimin went to a bar, i got stabbed because of robbery." Jimin widens his eyes. "WHAT?! YOU GOT STABBED?"

"Yes but I'm not finished. Lisa happened to see me while she's driving home. She helped bring me to a hospital. I got so many stitches and I still have to recover right now. I feel I owe her a big time for saving my life and apparently Lisa has a big favor." Jungkook looked at Lisa to let her turn to explain it.

"Uhm, i'm about to be deported to Thailand because i failed to handle my visa application, i can only go back a year later. But, my life is here, i have nothing to do in Thailand and i don't want to go back. So, the fastest thing I can do to stay here is to get married as soon as possible." Lisa turned her head to Jungkook to help her explain.

"And we're going to be married tomorrow, we would like to invite you to our holy matrimony." Jungkook said. Four of them are still surprised from the beginning of their explanation. They couldn't think straight about this because it's beyond their imagination.

"Do you guys still love each other?" Jennie finally asks. They both take aback and not dare to look at each other, Jennie is regretting asking that question. "You know what? don't answer!i'm sorry."

"Will you guys be married forever?" Jimin asked.

"No."

"We don't know."

They both answer together but Lisa snaps her head towards Jungkook 'You don't know?' Lisa is shocked that Jungkook is thinking about it, why all of sudden Jungkook thinks they will stay together? He even let Lisa still keep her apartment and arrange their divorce first.

Jimin is taken aback, he knows about Jungkook's proposal and he knows too there's a ring he prepared months ago.

"Wow, not a perfect unison, guys." Taehyung jokingly said.

"Are you guys really okay about this? you guys feel fine if someday you'll get divorce?" Yoongi asks too.

"We're already thinking it through since it's just a marriage on paper, we feel fine to divorce until Lisa gets her work visa in seven months." Jungkook explained.

"So you guys will be married and live separately?" Jimin asked. "Uhm, actually since i have to report it to immigration i'm married, to confirm the authenticity of our marriage, we'll be living together for awhile to prove it to immigration we married with an agreement from both of us." Lisa replied.

She continued again, "Guys we need you to accept our decision to at least make it easy. We both know it's wrong but we're ready for the consequences."

Four of them are still quiet, they don't know what to say. Some of them think it's a bad idea but it's their life, they can't force them to cancel it. They only can be supportive of them in any way.

"Okay, what the hell. It's your life decision, we'll support you through thick and thin." Jimin finally said it.

Jungkook smiled at him. "Thank you guys for your support! it means so much to us because it's already not easy for us but we're willing to do it."

"Okay! so may we raise our glass too soon to be spousal tomorrow!" Taehyung suddenly raises his champagne glass and they all join.

"Marriage for convenient." They all laugh, including Jungkook and Lisa.

"Marriage for convenient." They exclaimed.

Lisa and Jennie decided to walk together since Jennie wants to do some shopping for tomorrow. Jungkook and the guys just go back to his apartment to hang out.

The two of them are on fifth avenue, Jennie just looking for her made of honor dress. When she browsed things, Jennie caught Lisa sitting on a sofa playing with her phone. Suddenly, she came up with an idea.

"Lisa i think i want to browse somewhere, i know a place for bridal shopping." Jennie grabbed her wrist and dragged Lisa to go out of the store.

Lisa is shocked because right now they're in a bridal shop full of wedding gowns. "Unnie, why are we here?" Lisa asks.

"Because tomorrow you should wear a wedding dress!" Jennie exclaimed. "Why? I don't need to, it's just a simple wedding, I just wear my white maxi dress." Lisa replied.

"No! you can't! it's your first marriage, it should be beautiful! at least you look like a blushing princess!" Jennie yells at her, Lisa just frowns looking at all this wedding dress. "Let's go!" Jennie pulled her wrist again to start browsing.

But through their search for a perfect wedding dress, Jennie is the one who makes a choice for Lisa because Lisa is still oblivious to this thing.

"Okay! I got a couple of choices! let's try it on, shall we?" Jennie drags her again to a fitting room.

Lisa try the first one:

"Hmm, it's elegant vintage vibe! You look pretty. What do you think?" Jennie asks her back.

Lisa still had space out from all these things, she just stuttered to comment because she was still confused with her looks, she couldn't believe she would choose her wedding dress.

"I don't know, I really like a normal vail." Lisa commented. "Okay! we'll try another one." Jennie suggests and turns Lisa around to get undressed again.

Lisa comes out from the cubicle and shows it to Jennie. "It's nice! simple and elegant, I like it unnie." Jennie just hummed and felt like there's still something missing.

"I think it's too simple for a holy matrimony in a big church, it's like an at-home wedding, we'll try another one." Jennie suggests and Lisa just obeys her. Jennie is into fashion so Lisa won't complain because she will choose the best dress for her.

"It's too big, Unnie. It's beautiful but I want something fitted in my body." Lisa suggests and Jennie just nod handed her another one.

"Unnie, don't you think this is too revealing? my thighs getting exposed here, it's see through. We're married in a church.. at least try to look decent." Jennie agrees with her and tries the last one.

"This is the one!" Jennie happily claps her hands. "Lisa, you look gorgeous! That's it! It's my wedding present for you!" Lisa widens her eyes. "Unnie! no! I bought this on my own! It's Valentino! It cost too much! I can't accept it." Lisa said.

"Okay how about you buy the wedding dress, I'll buy you the vail? It's the most gorgeous vail I've ever seen! It's too elegant! i can clearly imagine Jungkook open the vail in front of you, it's beautiful!" Jennie happily said.

Lisa thought it's wonderful but still it's just marriage for convenience, it means nothing. Maybe it is, but deep inside her heart Lisa feels excited to try on like it's her real wedding.

...

Jungkook drinks with Jimin and Taehyung at a bar, considering it as a last night Jungkook will be a bachelor. Jungkook begged Jimin and Taehyung to not go to a strip club because this isn't a real wedding.

"So, how's your feeling?" Taehyung asks while scanning around a crowded bar.

"Just usual." Jungkook casually replied.

"Liar, there's something still going on with you and her." Taehyung said.

Jungkook can't think of anything. His heart just beats really fast, but it's not an excitement but he feels thrill to all of this.

"I think his wounds on his stomach make butterflies go in because it makes him all over Lisa again, willing to tie the knot with her that easily." Jimin jokes.

Jungkook just stays quiet and makes Jimin and Taehyung widen his eyes while looking at each other. "You still love her?!" Jimin yells with a little bit of whispering.

'YES! OF COURSE I LOVE HER STILL!'

That's what Jungkook wants to scream in front of them. He doesn't want to lie anymore. He still loves her but it's hard, he still didn't find any reasons or excuses why they should go back together. He is still oblivious and does not recognize his real heart why he accepted her favor.

"I don't know. We don't talk about feelings anymore. All we talked about was how the marriage is going to benefit her to not be forced for Lisa to leave the country, that's all." Jungkook whined while putting his face on his palm. Clearly Jungkook is confused about his situation or his feelings.

"Dude, you have to talk to her." Jimin nudged him.

"Yeah, at least have a conversation about feelings not to confess just casually admit something it is or it isn't anything inside your heart." Taehyung added.

Jungkook looked at his bottle for a moment and stood up. "Okay i'll do it now, tomorrow is the wedding day. Goodnight guys, see you tomorrow." Jungkook waves them goodbye. Jimin and Taehyung just chuckle and raise their bottles.

"So, how's marriage life? I got Jungkook, who will soon be a husband and you who have already become one. Any advice?" Jimin asked.

"She's always right, if she's wrong then keep it to yourself." Taehyung said as he sipped his scotch. Jimin laughs hearing this from Taehyung. "And Archie? Is he good?"

"Great, I just love him being a baby, I wish he can still be one. I just am not ready yet when he's entering school, having girlfriends, hanging out with friends which I don't know if they will be a good influence on him or maybe he will become one since me and Jennie are evil inside." Taehyung starts rambling.

"Wow. I didn't know you got this much pressure when having a boy, I thought it only happens if you have a daughter." Taehyung scoffed and shook his head.

"Oh god, what if he knocks up his girlfriend? Or just some other girl he met at the bar? Even worse, a stripper? I couldn't take it." Taehyung starts overthinking. Jimin laughed even more. "Chill, man. You got Jennie, she will scold him."

"More like she will whip him. She's strict, you know."

Taehyung got home first, he noticed Jennie wasn't home yet when her mom suddenly showed up from the nursery room. "Taehyung! Tae! Honey! Something amazing happened!" Taehyung widen his eyes when Mrs. Kim just ran to him.

"Archie starts to get prone!" Her mom said and Taehyung went straight to the nursery room, he saw Archie giggling while proning in his playpen. To Taehyung this is a disaster. Jennie had been observing Archie if he developed something like start talking, grabbing, or proning. None of that happened on her sight. Ever. And now, he's doing this for the first time without her? She will be devastated.

When Taehyung started talking to her mom to keep it to themselves and let Jennie see it by herself, she already got home. Her mom ran to her before Taehyung even tried to warn her. He panicked about what he should do, so he turned Archie to lay down on the playpen and pretend to play peek-a-boo with him.

"Jennie! Jennie! Look! Look!" Her mom started dragging Jennie to the nursery room to make Jennie confused but when they arrived, her mom was confused why Taehyung turned him down again to lay on the playpen.

"What?" Jennie asked. "Hey baby, look Archie has been laughing for five minutes non-stop from playing peek-a-boo with me. See? You don't have to worry if you left for work." Taehyung said.

Mrs. Kim is confused why Taehyung didn't tell Jennie about the great thing Archie did. But, when Jennie grabs Archie to hold him, Taehyung gives her a sign to cut it out about Archie being prone and her mom smiles, she finally understands.

So, they just keep it to themselves until Jennie witnesses it by herself.
