I cant

Hey everyone! This is the last chapter!

Carls pov:

I watch as Lauren gets on the bus.

Alright I run off and try to find my dad.

"Carl?!" I heard my dad say.

I run over.

He is all bloody.

He pulls me in for a hug.

"What happened Dad?"

"The governor. It's over."

A big sigh of relief hits me.

"Where is everyone?"

"Well the bus left. So I'm guessing no one."

I froze.

"T-the bus left?"

"Yes."

"Shit. Dad, I told Lauren. I. She. She's on that bus. I. I told her I would be there."

He is taken back by my swearing.

"Look son she's gone. Let's get Judith and go."

I walk. I feel numb.

I drag my shot gun along my side.

Blood surrounds the carrier.

"Oh. Oh no."

We walk closer.

It's empty.

"Where is she? Where is Judith."

"NO! JUDITH." I cry out.

Tears streaming down my eyes.

"Agh. Judith, she's gone."

I heard mumbling and see a walker.

I shot it. One for Judith. BAM. One for Lauren. BAM. I walk closer tears still falling. I continue until I feel numb.

I feel someone grab me from behind and take the gun for me.

"Carl."

"No! Dad she's dead. Lauren's gone. DAD LAUREN AND JUDITH ARE GONE." I cry out.

We start to walk away.

We reach the road.

I turn my head back to look at the prison.

"Carl. Don't look back."

I slowly drag my head back and walk onto the road following close behind my dad.

"Bye Lauren."
