Drawn to You

The fan-sign event was smaller than usual, and Leedo noticed it immediately. It wasn't overwhelming like the usual packed concerts. The crowd had more space, the fans more time. And somehow, that made it feel... different. More intimate. More personal.
He had been going through his interactions with the fans as usual, signing albums, smiling, making small talk, but there was one fan he couldn't seem to take his eyes off. She had this calm confidence, a quiet smile that didn't need to be flashy to catch attention, and when their eyes met, it was like the rest of the world disappeared for just a second.
During the concert, his mind kept drifting back to her. He caught her cheering in the crowd, her hands clapping in perfect rhythm with the music, and he felt a strange tension, a pull that wasn't just fandom—it was something more, something electric and tangible that made him grin without realizing it.
After the concert ended, fans trickled out for VIP pictures and meet-and-greets. When it was her turn, she approached with a mix of excitement and nerves. Leedo's heart thumped as he handed her the signed album, their fingers brushing ever so slightly.
"Thank you for coming," he said, his voice softer than usual, eyes locking on hers longer than necessary.
She smiled, cheeks slightly flushed. "I wouldn't miss it for the world."
The camera flashed, capturing their laughter and her shy tilt toward him, and for a fleeting moment, everything felt suspended. But then the line moved, and she was gone, walking away into the night. Leedo's stomach twisted; he wanted—needed—to see her again.
He waited outside, trying to distract himself, but when he spotted her sitting alone on the curb, waiting for her ride, something in him snapped.
Without thinking, he walked over. "Hey," he said, softly enough not to startle her.
Her head turned, eyes wide, a small smile forming. "Oh... hi."
"I didn't want you to leave without saying goodbye properly," he admitted, crouching slightly to meet her gaze.
They talked, the conversation flowing surprisingly easily. Laughter came naturally, and Leedo felt that same inexplicable tension, that pull that had begun at the concert. When it was time to part ways, he hesitated.
"Do you... need a ride?" he asked, trying to sound casual but failing to hide the hope in his tone.
Her nod was small, embarrassed, but he didn't miss it. He reached out, taking her hand in his, warmth spreading through both of them.
"It's okay," he said softly, smiling in that way that always seemed to calm people down. "I'll take you home. And... I'll take care of you along the way."
Her eyes widened slightly, and she let herself relax into his grip.
A few months later, they were official—quietly, privately, away from cameras and social media. Leedo still caught himself staring at her, remembering that first night, that first hand-hold, and smiling. It was theirs, this small, perfect world they shared, and nothing else mattered.
