Chapter 5: Mario Gets Therapy

THE NEXT MORNING...

Mario: *sigh* Why am I still so depressed?! I've showed everyone my emotions and I'm still feeling down! How am I gonna cheer myself up?!

Loaf: Meow! 🐱

Mario turned around, and there was a Laptop.

Mario: Hmm... maybe some pictures of Spaghetti would cheer me up.

He opened the Laptop.

Mario: Hmm...

Then, he had an idea.

Mario: Wait a minute... maybe I need some Therapy from a very familiar person!

He fiddled with some controls.

A Portal has opened.

Mario: *sigh* I'm gonna regret this...

Loaf: Meow! 🐱

Mario: No, Loaf! Cat Food is not gonna come out of there!

Loaf: ...

Mario: Here goes!

Mario jumped the Portal.

Mario: *SCREAMS* AHH!!! 😱

Meanwhile...

Phone: Every 60 Seconds in Africa... a Minute passes!

DS123: That is a very powerful speech.

Then... DS123's Laptop started to make noises.

DS123: Huh?!

*KNOCKS*

DS123: Do I hear knocking?!

Mario: YO, OPEN THE LAPTOP!!!

DS123: Wait a minute... I know that voice!!!

DS123 opened the Laptop.

Mario: *grunts* Ugh...

DS123: Mario?!

Mario: Hey, DS123... can you give us a Hand?!

DS123: One sec...

DS123 got Mario up.

Mario: Ta.

DS123: What are you doing?

Mario: Well, I--

Mario froze.

DS123: What?

Mario: What are you wearing?

DS123: Oh, I'm wearing some Guinness Merch... I got it whilst I was in Dublin.

Mario: O_O

DS123: Hello?

Mario: OH GOD... WHAT ARE THE ODDS?!?!?!

DS123: Oi, calm down!!!

Mario: EVERYWHERE I GO... I SEE MY DEAD MUM'S FACE!!!

Mario: Ow!

DS123: Calm down... it wasn't your fault, mate!!!

Mario: How do you know that my Mother's dead?!

DS123: I don't wanna break the 4th Wall...

Mario: Fair point...

DS123: So, what brings you here?

Mario: Listen, I'm so depressed about what's going on? I just miss my Mum... but she's dead.

DS123: Do I look like a Therapist?

Mario: Come on, DS123... at least, listen to my story.

DS123: *sigh* Make it quick, then...

Later...

Mario: *sigh* Ever since, the whole tragic events of The Inkling Arc... I've been feeling fine until that Ella Henderson song that I heard, and an Old Woman that I saw... it reminded me of when I was next to my Mum's death bed.

DS123: So, you're basically feeling down... just like that classic SMG4 episode from 2019?

Mario: I'm trying to get excited about stuff... I wasn't turned on when Meggy was in that Killer Cowgirl costume!

DS123: Okay?

Mario: And, NO... I do not have Erectile Dysfunction!!!

DS123: Have you had any Dreams, recently?

Mario: I saw my Mum in my Dream, last night... I think I'm going crazy!

DS123: So, is that why you're not cheering up?

Mario: There has to be something missing.

DS123: Hmm... I'll tell you what! Let me share my Dreams?

Mario: They're not Wet, are they?

DS123: No, stupid... I meant Dreams as in, where do you see yourself in 5 years time!

Mario: Ah...

DS123: Well, I always wanted to make a YouTube series about SMG4... for example, a Mario Does Things or SMG4 Crew version on my channel... or maybe even an SMG4 Character Elimination.

Mario: Um... you're not retiring from Wattpad, are you?

DS123: No, of course not! I'll still be on Wattpad... but, sometimes I maybe wanna focus on a little bit of YouTube, at the same time!

Mario: I think it's hard to Multi-task.

DS123: Yeah...

Mario: So, would that be your Goal for 2024?

DS123: Something like that.

Mario: That's actually quite interesting!

DS123: In fact, after sharing my Dreams to you... I think I got an idea on how to cheer you up, a bit!

After that...

DS123: With my trusty Notebook... I will draw something, tear up the piece of Paper from the Notebook... and put in the Portal! It will make that drawing come to life!

Mario: Why does the Notebook have the ITV logo on it?

DS123: I got it at a Careers Fair.

Mario: Fair enough.

DS123: Anyways, do you have any questions before you go back home?

Mario: Yes, I do.

DS123: This is NOT a Sussy Notebook.

Mario: I don't have any, then.

...

DS123: Right, I'll let you off.

Mario: Thanks for being my Therapist.

DS123: Whatever.

Mario: I'll see you later.

DS123: Not if I see you, first.

Mario jumped back into the Portal.

DS123: Right, time to cheer Mario up.

DS123 got straight to work.

DS123: Okie-dokie... I need a little bit of this and a little bit of that and I should be a Genius!

5 MINUTES LATER...

DS123: Almost there... just need a few extra touches!

ANOTHER 5 MINUTES LATER...

DS123: And, I'm done!!!

*EXHALE*

DS123: Alright, now let's see how it looks so far.

*CLEARS THROAT*

DS123: The...

...

DS123: That was just a warm-up.

DS123 started a new page.

DS123: Alright, now for real this time!

EVENTUALLY...

DS123: Alright, I think I did it!

DS123 tore the Paper off of the Notebook.

DS123: Alright... Mini DS123, don't let me down!

And, he put the Paper into the Portal.
