12. Namsan
04:47, 30 July 2019"Do you have any plans today?" Jimin asks with an edge to his voice.
"No. I'll probably just laze around the-"
"Then let's go to Namsan."
"What? Why so randomly?"
"I've been wanting to go." He says, face bright.
"Alright, Namsan Tower it is then!" He grins.

We walk at the top, admiring the view. I would've liked to go in the evening, but Jimin seemed to be excited about going.
"It's perfect weather, right?" I hum.
He suddenly puts his hand on the small of my back, and I feel my face heating up. Why is he touching me?
"Jimin?" I question and look at him.
But it's not Jimin.
A man in all black stands behind me. As he leans closer, I notice a white patch shaped as a spark on the top left of his shirt.
"I have a switchblade and gas poison, so if you don't follow me quietly I will use them."
Fear courses through me. I could take him if it was fist to fist, but gas poison will hurt the other people here.
Jimin...please...I need you...
As if reading my mind, Jimin runs over. Relief floods through me. The sight of his strong resolve is comforting.
The man tenses up, but calms down when Jimin whispers something in his ear.
What the fuck?
The man slowly backs away into the darkness of a shadow and I turn to Jimin.
"What-" he cuts me off by crushing me in a hug. "Ugh, you worry me, Kyung Mi." He says against my shoulder. He nuzzles his head on my neck and shoulder before pulling away and examining my face.
"He didn't hurt you anywhere, did he? Good. Let's go." He takes me by my hand and leads me away, me being too shocked to say anything.
We find ourselves in a corner table at a coffee shop.
"What...what happened back there, Jimin?"
He smiles at me. "You don't have to worry about it, dear. I was just doing my job."
My blood starts pumping faster as I feel myself getting annoyed. "No, Park Jimin, what'd you whisper to the armed man that made him just run away?"
He looks down. "It's complicated."
"What the hell, Jimin? Do you...do you know him or something?"
"Here are your drinks!" The waitress hands us the hot beverages before bowing to us and walking off.
Jimin takes a big gulp and sighs. "It's too dangerous for you right now. You are staying indoors for the next week."
"You are not my dad Jimin! I will go where I want, and besides, isn't it your job to protect me?!"
"It is, but like what happened today, I can't be with you every step of the way. Citizens will block me, stop me from catching up to you when you're running or walking."
He sighs. "I know it's my job, but all I'm asking is that you be a little more aware of your surroundings." He looks away, almost as if embarrassed, before saying, "Anyway, I want to introduce you to some people."
My head snaps up. "Who?"
He grins. "The other six parts of my soul."

"So this is why you wanted to go to Namsan." I say, finally understanding.
"Yeah. They live really close."
When we reach the brown door, I hear a sudden burst of...shouting? No. Is it-
"Are they singing?"
He rolls his eyes. "That's their karaoke voices."
As I come in I see an array of boys scattered across a wooden floor, and the singer's long fingers curl around the mic so tightly that it's obvious how deep into the music he is.
His nostrils are flared and lines form from his shut eyes as he scream-shouts the lyrics.
A few other boys join him at the chorus, and a couple of them start dancing in the background.
I hear Jimin sigh behind me as he walks to a black cord and harshly tugs at it, and the plug comes flying out. Immediately the screen shuts off and everyone goes silent.
"Jimin!" A boy with brown hair whines. "Why'd you turn off the power?"
"Hobi Hyung's voice would've killed us all otherwise." He mutters, strutting over to a couch and collapsing onto it.
Jimin opens one of his eyes that he had shut and points to me. "Guys, say hi. This is Kyung Mi."
While the boys stare at me, I'm able to count the number of them: five.
The brown-haired fellow from before walks forward slowly, never breaking eye contacted with me. His mouth is open slightly, accentuating his v-shaped jaw. His proportionate features catch me in a daze as he comes closer.
He looks like someone from an animated show: too perfect to be real. When he's inches away I feel the need to pinch his cheeks to see if he really exists.
Then he smiles widely and the sexy vibe is gone, replaced by an adorable one. His boxy smile is too much for me to handle and his cute little giggle that follows makes my heart melt.
"Hi! I'm Kim Taehyung, also known as Tae, V, Tae Tae..."
"Okay, that's enough, kid." A guy chuckles. If I thought Taehyung's gaze was piercing then this one's is unimaginable. So much so that I'm scared to make eye contact. I look everywhere but him.
I hear a soft laugh before, out of the corner of my eye, I see his hand out. "The name's Kim Namjoon. Call me RM if you'd like."
I shyly look up to see him smiling, dimples forming at the side of his mouth.
My nose picks up on a scent of something that's been fried. I subconsciously follow it to see an array of dishes on a table, with a handsome devil standing next to it.
He smirks when he sees my awed state. "Like what you see?"
I quickly shake my head, but I feel something on the side of my mouth.
"Is that drool from seeing the food or my incredibly handsome face?"
My face heats up and I quickly wipe the liquid away, shaking my head continuously.
"You're Kyung Mi, right? Jimin told us you were coming. Can you call the boys to eat?"
I look at him unsurely and he gets the hint. "Oh! My name's Seokjin, Jin for short."
I nod slightly before scurrying out. My face is the color of a tomato as I yell "guys, come to eat!" and it only gets a deeper shade of red when I run into the man who was singing before.
He falls and, stupid me, I fall into him. He blinks, looking at me weirdly, before I realize our position and I practically jump off of him.
"H-Hobi Jimin said your name was? I'm so sorry." I say as I help him up and he laughs deeply.
"Oh no, my name is Hoseok. That, along with J-Hope, is my nickname."
"Ahh." I say, feeling stupid as I look at his straight red locks; it really suits his long face. Someone calls his name and his face turns. Dang, his sharp ass jaw puts my double chin to shame.
I look over to the person who called him and see a boy with light blue hair and a bored-looking neutral face. His pale, clean skin makes him fairer than fucking Snow White. Looks like the mirror on the wall was wrong.
"Hoseok, give me my microphone back; it's my favorite one."
"Wah, Yoongi Hyung would give up his special mic?! What'd you do to deserve this, Hyung?" Namjoon exclaims as he walks to the dining room.
Yoongi glowers at RM's receding figure before turning to Hoseok. "Tell me. Where is it?"
I look at the redhead next to me and his ears match the color of his hair. "Er, well, in all the commotion I guess I lost it..."
"WHAT?!" Yoongi starts chasing after him as I hear a youthful devilish snicker. I look over and see a brunette with blond streaks laughing, the action causing his nose to scrunch up adorably.
"Ha...ha...hi." He clears his throat as his laughing fit stops. "I'm the youngest, Jungkook."
"Or Jungkookie. Or Kookie." Jimin says, walking over. He slings one arm around Jungkook's shoulders and the other on mine. "But let's get food now, shall we?"
As we walk to the room I almost fainted in before, the cause of the almost-heart attack--Jin--comes running out with a slipper in hand. "Yah! Yoongi, stop making a fuss! You two need to eat my hard prepared food!"
