Part 13

When we came home, we ate and took a shower, then cuddled for hours. Perth was going to Chiang Mai to shoot the series Scarlet Heart.

"When are you leaving?" I asked.

"I'm picking up Phuwin at Pond's around five," he said.

"I'm gonna miss you, you know," I whispered and nuzzled against his chest.

"I know. I'm gonna miss you too," he said and kissed me.

I heard his alarm go off, but I was so sleepy that I just turned around and continued sleeping. Only after Perth got ready and came to me in bed to say goodbye did I realize he was leaving.

"You're leaving," I said. It wasn't a question. I felt a pain in my chest but tried to ignore it.

"Mhm," he murmured and pulled me into a tight hug.

He kissed my neck and sighed loudly. It was hard for him, just like it was for me.

Being apart was becoming a problem for us and that scared us both.
